I’ve been using a novo master with the quartz novo 2 coil and filling it with decarbed live resin. However, I just got the novo pro so that I can lower the wattage for better tasting hits and less clogging hopefully.

My question is, will I be able to put decarbed hash rosin in it? Anyone ever tried?

I've been a poster in this particular sub-reddit for over 5 years now. We have all learned a lot in our endeavors but are we such outliers that no company will recognize us as a market for their current products?

Our hobby/habit have led all of us down a path of buying up old and outdated tech and gear. Now we are at the actual end of all that old gear finally going out of stock and there is nothing to replace it with.

The tanks are next to impossible to find and even if you do the GT Ccell coils are all gone now too.

It seems like some company would have noticed us by now and started making products for our particular niche usage.

I guess I may have to start experimenting with non ceramic sub-ohm coils to vape my disty through

I live in the uk and sourcing and finding good THC vapes has proven to be pretty hard so I’m looking to make my own for mine and my family’s use, I have no idea where to start and all the discussions I’m finding are proving very confusing to my slow brain.

What equipment would I need? What is the process in completing this and where can I find what I need? I’ve found a place to order the empty disposable vapes so now I just need to find a place to buy the oil or how to make the oil to fill the vapes, any help is much appreciated thank you in advance!

Sorry if this has been covered, but genuine question: how harsh is this method, hits-wise?

Useful background: I’m 41, used to smoke cigs and weed, then got a terrible lung infection about 10 years ago and spent a week in a coma on ECMO, and switched immediately to vaping on threat of literal death.

I actually already use Vaporesso GT cCell coils for my nicotine (they last forever and I can only do low-temp vaping, Juice Head ZTN works great).

Vaping weed has never been easy for me. I don’t like dry herb vapes. Wax is great for effect but it ALL makes me cough, sometimes quite a bit. I gave up on it entirely when I moved to Texas. Recently gtfo’d home to Virginia and got my medical card. The gummies are INSANELY overpriced and my dosage for pain mgmt (broken back, yay) is around 100-200mg per day and I’m not spending a grand a month on weed ffs.

I talked to a literal child at my local dispensary (I have a bong older than this person, lol), and she recommended a few things, all of which have worked really well. I cough *less* but it’s still an issue. She taught me how to hit it midbreath (VERY useful) and use DTL (again, already do it for nic vaping so easy to adapt). Apparently I’ve been smoking weed wrong my whole life. Every week now, a youngster teaches me something new about a drug I’ve been using longer than they’ve been alive. Really great for the ego.

Live rosin with a wax atomizer or cart was her biggest rec, and bless that child. Live rosin is all I use now. No distillate, nothing with solvents. I have a Pulsar Sipper (no shit, I read a review that recommended it for “the elderly and infirm” and bought the bubbler version immediately lol). The Sipper can use carts OR atomizers. I have yet to find an atomizer I like for it, but carts work great and make me cough a lot less.

Buying live rosin carts here is insane, $70/.5g, so I’ve pretty much decided to make to my own carts instead, and bought all the supplies (en route now)….which is how I discovered this subreddit.

So my question is (now that you hopefully get that my lungs are delicate little flowers)…how harsh ARE the hits? In theory, I would think it’d be pretty similar to a regular cart, and I love the idea of only having to buy another tank and just keep refilling it instead of buying empty carts forever.

I know it won’t be as smooth as the Sipper bc there’s no water filtration, but compared to a regular cart running with TC, is it markedly worse? Anything that could make it smoother?

It’d be easy for me to test out bc I have all the supplies, but I really don’t wanna waste a coil and oil if it’s gonna rip my lungs out & show them to me.

So I have an ounce of hash burger live resin and an ounce of hash burger hash rosin. Would it be fine to decarb separately and mix the two? I don’t see why it would be an issue? Maybe the different consistencies?

I wanna stretch this rosin a little bit and add some good rosin terps, so I figured since they’re the same strain from the same company, (likely same batch of flower) it should work/taste pretty good.
