[LFDM] Adult Trio Seeking DM for 2024 D&D Campaign — Fridays/Saturdays @ 8 CST — Long-Term

Who We Are: husband and wife team (possibly a third close friend), searching for a Dungeon Master a long-term, story and narrative -focused campaign with a good mix of combat. We’re consistent, drama-free, still in the honey moon phase , and ready to play.

Tone & Playstyle: • We enjoy a serious campaign with meaningful character development and a rough 50/50 split of combat and story • Shenanigans, humor, and memorable moments are absolutely welcome—we’re not trying to recreate a grimdark misery simulator • We prefer a table that keeps modern political debates and ideological messaging out of the game—we’re here for heroic fantasy, not culture wars or real-world soapboxes. Respectful adults of any background welcome

System & Rules: • D&D 2015 ruleset (5.5e) • Balanced world-fitting homebrew allowed

Hello everyone! I (25F) am looking for an online game as I am in serious D&D withdrawals. I have been playing on and off since high school. I know my stuff, but I admit I may be a smidge rusty! 

Ideally, I would like to join a game that plays on weekends, or after 3:30pm EDT. I’m hoping to find a game with stakes, and heart, but isn’t against being a little silly or out there occasionally. I have several character ideas and am willing to adapt a little depending on the needs of the party!

About the DM Heya, call me Kaz, ive been a dm for a little over a year, usually just for my friends so a lot of the games goes along the rule of cool, and have this custom adventure that I want to share!

Hello! I’m 21F and I’m looking to join a long term campaign! I’ve been searching through this group but I thought I’d post something in case there are some DMs looking for another player!

I’ve played a few one shots and have played a ton of bg3 but I really want to play irl dnd. I live in a rural area so finding a group is really hard to come by. I’m kinda new still so I may need a little help with some of the technical stuff but I really love roleplaying and telling a story! I’m also a stay at home wife so my schedule is very open in the evenings so I can play almost anytime!

aloha! so our group got recruited for what looked like a fantastic campaign this tuesday until.....the dm blocked us all and deleted the server without a word! we were all pretty shocked since we were very enthusiastic about starting. now we are all very sad and hoping someone wants to adopt us?

I just want to be able to play dnd but its hard because im in military so people don’t understand that i cant just skip work to play and I’ve always wanted to play, so if you can please let me join!

I’m 20 and it’s been hard trying to find a group to join. When i do finally find one people get weird since im a women and they either sexualize me or they say “woman can’t play dnd, they just don’t understand” which is weird af!!

Like ofc i dont know how to play cuz no one will teach me how cuz there to busy kickimg me out for being female sexualizing me or just immediately killing me off.

I'm a newbie, long time fan of dungeons and Dragons. I'm trying to find people to play with, im too poor to pay anyone to play, which is why I've not had the chance to play before now. I've read the books that I've had the chance to i I've got a few books on dndbeyond, so im not completely ignorant on it. Im willing to tryout all the play styles, ill even try to DM, I even been working on an adventure, though its still got a lot of work left.

Hey everyone!

Our group is looking for another player/DM to join our table long term. We’re a pretty tight-knit group where everyone enjoys taking turns behind the screen, so ideally we’re looking for someone who would be excited to both play and DM from time to time.

We play every Sunday at 4 PM MST and consistency is a huge thing for us. We’re hoping to find someone who genuinely looks forward to Sundays and wants to be part of the group beyond just showing up for session time.

Outside of D&D, we game together regularly and are always down to try new games. While 5e is our main D&D system, we branch out into other stuff too depending on what people are interested in.

We also heavily prefer homebrewed campaign settings and original worlds over prewritten modules. Creativity is a big part of our group, and we enjoy building stories together. Along with that, we do use AI tools for brainstorming, character art, and note taking, so we’d want someone who’s comfortable with that as part of the creative process.
