Whenever i see .hack character designs i honestly get like captivated by how good they look… from an artist and character designer point of view they are truly gorgeous, even the more clearly sexualized designs still end up really pretty.

so favorite characters aside, which design in your opinion is the coolest?

even though they are really simple, i really enjoy atolis personally!

I figured I'd come here for help since I have so little knowledge of the series as a whole 😭 But I found Last Recode in the nintendo shop and I want to make lets plays when I get everything set up and figured out, and I'm making an oc to include in the thumbnails. This is jusy what I have so far and I wanted opinions/tips on her outfit. I plan to add a hood, it's just been giving me trouble lol, same with belts

Long story short, she doesn't have much lore wise (mainly making her for aesthetic purposes lol), she's an american and heard about Haseo through random forums, might meet him only once when they end up on the same server (if I get things wrong please tell me, I know jack shit about the series so idk if there's various servers or whatnot)

She's hardly online at all and mainly just kinda helps new players and those who have been data drained but mainly stays at a low level. (Her room gets too hot to play for long) When she made her character she didn't know Haseo was also an adept rogue (hers is gonna look different from his I promise lol) and idk how character creation works in-universe so if the female model for the adept rogue class doesn't exist then, mods. I did consider having it be female player with male model and I'll go ahead and draw that and include it in the finished drawing post :3

But yeah, any suggestions for me to try out with her design, if I should make it closer to Haseo's or keep it relatively different like this, I'd appreciate it, thanks :]

Edit: I redid her top and I think I like what I have for now for like her first form, idk if I'll make other forms simply because of her lore. Like I said I'm mainly making her for aesthetic purposes and for youtube thumbnails, so she may get more development as I play the games, but the updated sketch is gonna be in the comments since I can't add more images to my post 💔

Alrighty, finished the drawing for her, I named her Nyx. Quick rundown for why she has those three choices cause while she's inspired by Haseo she's not meant to be too similar considering I kinda just wrote her as a bg character/casual player. But, two blades are convenient cause if one gets knocked out of your hand you have another (and might make climbing a bit easier, idk), I like scythes, and seeing the macabre dancer wiki kinda reminded me of Skyrim with the healing magic, idk why 🤷‍♀️

But this is essentially her first form. I planned to do a whole proper character sheet but this one took a while to do so I could have it as a standalone drawing 💔 So now my hands hurt and I've been sitting too long lol maybe I'll do the whole character sheet tomorrow as an excuse to draw her more, cause she does have a mask I wanted to draw her wearing, as well as see how well I could draw her wearing her hood (they'd just be head shots but eh)

Also I gotta look at the extension wiki but I noticed adept rogues can have a werewolf extension which is why she has earrings where they are, those are supposed to be wolf ears, just hanging down instead of perked up (I saw an image of Haseo in Returner and the two tufts of hair by the crown of his head/top of his bangs look like itty bitty ears, he's so damn cute 😭) But if the extensions can't be used and need a specific requirement then those can be mods or just some kind of cosmetic for her player model :]

Hey everyone! This is my first time using reddit and I saw my cosplay of Haseo 2nd form when I was lurking around the .Hack subreddit. So I figured I post some various pics of cosplaying as both him and the .Hack//Link version of Kite as an introduction for myself. The Kite outfit was made from scratch that took several months to get the sewing, body size fit, and some of the accessories set with the help of my friend on getting it all up and running. Unfortunately, the hat could have been done better since the symbol and emblem is literally on top of it, but for a first attempt I'm really happy on how it came out. Sadly, I didn't get the chance to make the daggers so I had to use some random ones to match random in-game weapon shapes lol

The Broad-Legged sword for Haseo took nearly six months back and forth working on it with the help of a friend guiding me on 3D printing the parts while I work on sanding, assembling, painting and trying to get this bad boy to the convention safely. I'm not gonna lie, it almost broke me on attempting such a project along with making it about six feet tall to match the ratio from referencing the image many times. Thankfully, the outfit wasn't too hard besides keeping the bracers on without falling down and a couple of leg belts not holding on tightly. Luckily, emergency patches and pins fixed that issue.

Sorry if I don't have any professional style pictures or really good ones, but I really enjoy cosplaying from one of my favorite series of all time. I was really happy to talk to so many people about .Hack during my time at Acen and hope to keep the spark strong with more upcoming soon.

had this in my backlog for a while and finally got around to playing after I completed smtv v. great game, easy set. mostly all progression with a few detours (hunting all the goblins, getting the ice bar, secret dungeon). I’m aware of the second subset but I don’t think I knew how to activate at the time. but I love kite and blackrose and gardenia a lot. natsume is great too. hopefully I can get around to the sequel and the rest of the quadilogy sometime in the near future!

Picked up borderlands as well, I was hunting for it CIB and I had my 5.00 monthly coupon to get it. Case doesn't really bother me since I plan on keeping it for playing.

I went to the Cyber Connect2 30th Anniversary Exhibition and later Fan Event in Tokyo yesterday with several other FC members, so it was really nice to catch up and chat with everybody in person.

I bought a couple of the new goodies for .hack//Z.E.R.O. and finally got my last tapestry signed!
