I heard a lot of good things about dothack, I bought the collection years ago but can never get pass the first game without losing interest. Is the first game usually rough? The weird thing is I think I'm having fun when playing it but always drop it. Is there another game I should start with instead of Last Recode? Do I just need to power through?
So, I've been trying to write a manga about an MMORPG and I need references. I know NOTHING about .Hack except that it is about an online game.
I know the main way to enjoy it, it's through its games, but I'm not really a hardcore gamer. I'd love to read the manga or novels but I don't know if they adapt the videogames, or spin-offs or sequels...I'm lost, I'd like to read .Hack or maybe watch the anime, what are your recommendations?
It's all in the title. I've been trying to track down these cards for a few years pretty casually. I've missed out on a few sales and while these arent the only cards im missing for the master set these have proven to be the most difficult. If anyone has some they want to sell please reach out. I still need all 5.

Just wanted to let everyone know CyberConnect2 is dropping commemorative illustrations for the next few days on their Facebook page! This is one of them by Seiichiro Hosokawa, the character designer of the series.
GU vol 1 was the first dot hack game I played when it had first come out (Immediately after beating it I went back and played IMOQ then continued the series lol)
But what about everyone else? What is your experience with the GU games?
I ended Vol 3 and start Vol 4, i have some thoughts in mind i want to share
>!So, you end Vol3 with Haseo saving World and The World from network crisis, ovan go to coma, Haseo go encounter Shino, Atoli come and Haseo choose Atoli, right? So, why in Vol4 they don't apper to be in any relationship? Seems like they continue the same person, not happen any development? Vol4 start Haseo talking he's out of The World for 1 year, why he's out? Seems like he's searching in real world but is so weird. i feel like Vol4 is disconnect from the previous game, ok they are a sequel, but Vol3 don't end like "ok, everything is fine" Haseo was trying to find a cure from Ovan. And why seal Skeith? Don't make sense, everything on Comatose was resolved by epitath's power, give up from this clearly won't help.!<
When you guys played Vol4, feels the same? I don't end yet, played around 1 hour i think.
I found a Mistral cosplayer at Anime Central this past weekend! I was so happy I fan girled a little! Can't wait for new game and story!
We will be going over some speculation in regards to the story of Dot Hack ZERO and how it could be more like IMOQ, or at the very least is making the story similar to it!

I don't even remember where I got these, but they've been sitting in their little plastic bags so long that Balmung's sword looks like a limp spaghetti now haha
I'm sad I couldn't find the game OST (hoping to pick up in Japan later this year), but I finally was able to get hard copies of the OST after years of having them galdabia hotel.
This alone made the entire day worth it, would have been better to get Yuki Kajiura to autograph it since she was there, but I'll take what I can get.
I'm really excited to watch these again, as these were the first .hack// anything I experienced! They're in really good shape too!

I only need this to complete 100% of the Book of 1000 at level 9, but it seems like I'm playing and that part isn't progressing much. I always try to do surprise attacks, ranged attacks, and everything else
All I need is this, 200 wins in the arena and the Forest of Pain to finish everything and move on to Vol. 4 and complete the remaining achievements for 100% completion on Steam.
