Converting more and more silver numismatics into pre 33
The 1891-CC Double Eagle, especially in MS61, was going for 50-70K pre-covid. Then it dropped because of fears that the Fairmount hoard contained a few of these specimens. The Fairmount dump is over and it looks like only 1 1891-CC $20 can be attributed as coming from Fairmount (makes sense since these coins only had a mintage of 5,000)
From an investment perspective, would you spend 35-38k on a piece like this with an eye towards it appreciating back to pre-covid levels?

I recently acquired this 1846-O $2.50 Liberty on eBay from an estate auctions house with over 50,000 sales on eBay.
I went to put it into an A18 airtite capsule which I store all of my $2.50 Liberty and Indian pieces in, however this one would not fit into the A18. I then noticed that the rim is flat and wider than my other Liberty pieces. The date is clear but the rest of the coin is pretty worn, and the head has some misshapen elements in my view.
It passed as 90% on my sigma, and the size looks about right. I think it’s gold but I think it’s also a fake, what do you guys think?
Totally understand if mods need to remove. But I asked my 12,000 subscribers what they wanted to see for a topic tonight and pre-33 won (vs world crowns, as seen in the image). I'm Dub-C's Coins & Precious Metals on that one longer video website if you're interested. 8:00 pm Central, Friday August 7th. We'll try to count up over 20 ounces total...
