Why are reddit users so stupid?

Do yall Genuinely read a thread before commenting? Or do some of you just start typing meaningless bullshit to make your lives feel a little more seen? I know most of you are just fat greasy a**holes that sit on your computer all day and play video games lol no job, no pusssy, no single. form of human interaction, so u go on reddit, comment terrible things about other people because. that’s the only source of happiness you have. Good God.

finally I get to post here lol

my bad for telling someone to not focus on things he can’t change because clearly he’s not handling the outside world well.

I don’t disagree that the world is in shambles but you can either give up on life about it or you can do things for yourself because you can’t fix politics. Oh well.

I am confused on why a 13 yr old is being bullied for this?...

Like it's pretty big whether 2010-2012 is the wnd of gen-z, ppl born during that period should be able to choose no? Plus the GIF sent proves that bro is rage-baiting/bullying with no logic.

People on reddit have such a hard time accepting the fact that people don’t know EVERYTHING

I swear down every single time i’ve asked a question ive been absolutely blasted with downvotes. I’m in a sub about immigration to america, i responded to a question trying to educate myself because sometimes it’s nice to hear from genuine people who understand rather than attempting to scrape through controversial, ad-full websites but obviously it’s a crime to not know everything nowadays.

I know it’s only 4 downvotes but it happens so often, why do people downvote questions???? imagine if you got a slap in person every time you asked for clarity. Some of these dumbasses would have very red faces lmao

Sorry you didn't stand them up?

For context the comment at the very top is the same user as the comment from the bottom, I don't really understand why they got downvoted

How to beat downvotes?

just got into Reddit a month ago and I can't get my opinion out there without downvotes. I mean only people with 10y karma can afford voicing their thoughts here but newbies suppose to be all hush hush?

I like downvoting people because the op asked a dumb question and they gave a dumb answer

I downvote almost every comment I see that's on any post that I find that the op could just google it and the ai would tell them basically all the logical outcomes. Do you feel this would be a good or bad thing for more people to do as I feel that my feed is full of basically retarded people asking retarded shit. Honestly dilutes Reddit and sure I ask dumb shit all the time but I ask Gemini or grok not Reddit.

Why do users delete their posts following an argument?

Sometimes i’ll be discussing my pov with someone else on reddit and even if i get downvoted i try to be nice and courteous and keep arguing my point- it’s okay, sometimes we’re wrong. What I don’t get is when i’m having a discussion and someone replies to me, disagrees then deletes their post and other posts they made. just in general i don’t understand why they would delete it- i look like im talking to myself, i guess? i just don’t understand like i get not wanting to continue but why reply then delete a bunch of comments, to make it harder to reply to them?

reddit said that this community would “love my post” here so i’ll
post it and link my original post (in the comments im getting downvoted too lmao, why?)
