The demo version of the Dragon Ball Card Database is now available!

This database is being developed for r/DragonBallJapanInfo and currently focuses mainly on Dragon Ball Super Divers cards.

More Dragon Ball card series and data will be added over time, including Heroes and Fusion World.

Current features include:

• Card browsing and search
• Filters by series, set, rarity, and more
• Card details
• Owned collection tracking
• Wishlist
• Collection progress
• Community statistics
• Mobile-friendly card browsing

The database is still in development, so card data, features, and the UI may continue to change.

Important:
This is a temporary Demo / Beta environment.

Owned cards and Wishlist data saved in this demo will NOT automatically transfer to the final version that will eventually be installed directly on r/DragonBallJapanInfo.

So please feel free to try everything, but keep in mind that your collection data in this demo is temporary.

The results of the Dragon Ball Super “My Favorite Cover” poll have been announced!

The Volume 19 cover artwork featuring Bardock, Goku, and Gohan took 1st place, and to celebrate, Toyotarou created a brand-new alternate version featuring Vegeta’s family in the same composition!

Majin Buu vs. Super Saiyan Gotenks! Two MATCH MAKERS Figures Arrive in Japan Today!

Two new Dragon Ball Z MATCH MAKERS prize figures are scheduled to arrive in Japanese arcades starting today!

• Majin Buu (VS Super Saiyan Gotenks)

• Super Saiyan Gotenks (VS Majin Buu)

Both figures are being released separately, but will debut at the same time!

The Dragon Ball Legends collaboration SCR Parallel and SCR Super Parallel from BRIGHTNESS OF HOPE, releasing September 12 in Japan, have now been revealed!

I’m currently preparing a new Dragon Ball Card Database that will be available directly within r/DragonBallJapanInfo!

You’ll be able to:

• Browse Dragon Ball cards

• Search and filter cards by character, transformation/form, series/work, story arc, rarity, set, and more

• Track the cards you own

• Create a wishlist

• Check your collection progress

• View anonymous community collection statistics

The database will initially focus on the card series I’m most familiar with and can maintain accurately: Dragon Ball Super Divers, Super Dragon Ball Heroes, Fusion World, and Ita-Jaga.

DIVERS will be the main focus at launch, with the other series gradually expanding as more card data is added and reviewed.

I’m currently in the final testing and review stage. More details coming soon!

The two SCR cards from BRIGHTNESS OF HOPE, releasing September 12 in Japan, have been revealed!

Four new Leader Parallel cards from BRIGHTNESS OF HOPE, releasing September 12 in Japan, have been revealed!

The other Leader Parallel, featuring a Dragon Ball Legends collaboration, was already revealed previously.

From what I know it’s very rare to find sealed.

DRAGON BALL Z BLOOD OF SAIYANS -Super Saiyan Son Goku- II is now available in Japan starting this month!

This figure is based on the four-character poster artwork from Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #31, 1992, and is the second release in a four-month consecutive series.

Super Saiyan Gohan was released in July, with Trunks coming in September and Vegeta in October!

STORY BOOSTER 01 [SB01] releases today in Japan!

I’ve looked through various early box and case opening reports and compiled the current pull-rate information for the Japanese version.

Please keep in mind that these are not officially confirmed pull rates, and some of the information may change as more boxes and cases are opened.

Current reported pull rates for the Japanese version:

Per Box

• Dragon Ball-design cards — 2 per box

• R Parallel — 2 per box

• SR Parallel — 1 per box

• Energy Marker — 1 per box

Per 12-Box Case

• Energy Marker Parallel — 1 per case

• SCR Parallel — possibly around 1 per case

• Leader Parallel — possibly around 1 per case

• Regular SCR — possibly around 6 per case

Super Parallel pull rates are currently unknown.

As for the Ultra Parallel rarity that appeared in MANGA BOOSTER, based on the opening reports available so far, it currently seems very likely that STORY BOOSTER 01 does not contain an Ultra Parallel.

Again, this is based on early Japanese box and case opening reports, so some of the information may not be 100% accurate yet.

Hopefully this helps anyone opening the Japanese version!

Has anyone else found pretty bad print lines in the 40th Anniversary binder promos? A few of the other cards have more subtle lines but this one is pretty obvious so just wondering what everyone else's experience has been?
