The horn sounds at twilight. The hunt begins after dark.

A young Waterdhavian noble has come to Phandalin seeking adventurers willing to guide him into the Lost Hills. Somewhere among those rugged wilds lies the legendary Place of the Unicorn, a hidden grove where he believes the curse upon him can finally be broken.

But something is hunting him.

The Hunt Beneath the Tears is a horror-survival wilderness adventure for 4–6 characters of 3rd level, designed for campaigns based in or around Phandalin. The characters must guide their desperate charge through three days of dangerous wilderness while an undead hunter relentlessly closes upon them each night.

The adventure features:

• A three-day wilderness journey through the Lost Hills
• Daytime encounters ranging from dangerous predators to potential allies
• An escalating nighttime hunt in which the enemy learns from the characters’ tactics
• Five magical Quarry Rings, powerful cursed items created for a deadly game
• Forgotten Realms locations and lore, including Phandalin, Conyberry, Noanar’s Hold, the Tears of Selûne, and the Place of the Unicorn

The quarry has been marked. How many nights can you survive the hunt?
