Guys i need a fic where dramione in a village/small town. Ofc from enemies to lovers with some denail. Slow burn with lot of romance.

I’m currently deep in the process of writing and editing my fic, but I had an idea for an entiiiirely different fic. I’ve started making notes, drawing out chapter plans etc, because I love the idea and I NEED to write it. I’ve already written out two chapters and then felt guilty and returned to my original fic.

But do you guys finish one fic first before moving onto another, or are you able to balance more than one? I’ve been working on CHAOS for over a year, so I feel utterly compelled to see it through whether anyone reads it or not, but I also don’t want the momentum to dissipate with this fresh idea – which I think I like better 😭

If you write more than one fic at a time, what are your best tips for managing them and not leaving any unfinished?

I feel like it's so easy to find a bunch of stories where Draco does crazy things for Hermione. And generally, the stories I've read have Hermione doing big big things but mostly for the greater good.

And while I really love those, I want to hear which Hermione you think did the craziest thing out of love for Draco?

My pick is Hermione from The Witch-King in Wiltshire!

Something like “That’s my wife” but more feral because his kid is involved. 👀 I don’t have any triggers and bonus if the fics involve mental health or angst! TIA!!

I feel like I've been reading too many fics that feature possessive Draco who worships Hermione like a goddess who can do no wrong. So as much as I love the trope, I'm craving something different and perhaps more realistic/nuanced where Hermione has some flaws and Draco doesn't put her on a pedestal above all else, but still loves her deeply. Preferably slow burn / enemies to lovers (i.e. no secret feelings in the past).

I'm really excited to start my first dramione fic (we are officially grazing are way out of the reader closet and into the writer closet), tho, I have a history of abandoning things I write for fun/fiction. (Sorry people waiting for updates) we found out we were pregnant after YEARS of trying and I’ve been absolutely exhausted and sick for ages. But we are 2nd trimester BBs and I’m capital H-orny! I’m not really in a place to write again yet, but I am working on the next update of the archives which should add a few hundred fics!!<

What is a fic summary that had you instantly click to read ?

I’ve read Mind the Bump and Barely 60 Percent. They both were really good. Any other recs?

I can’t remember much else but she takes the stone from him and I’m pretty sure Hermione becomes the master of death and there’s a few scenes of her talking to death in a classroom?

I turned to writing Dramione fanfiction because after Covid, I really struggled to watch TV, and I found out a lot of movies and shows were incredibly violent or cruel.

The problem that I’m facing right now, is that all of my works are somewhat intense, and it’s just as hard to write them as it is to watch these violent shows. But without the violence, the emotional impact isn’t as good in the fic.

I guess I’m just ranting because it’s sort of a catch 22. I’m very motivated to finish my work and give the audience something that they feel was worth their time… but writing is prompting me to take better mental care of myself and also seek care as well, because otherwise I just wouldn’t be able to create the story that I want.

I want to add that I do really like fluffy stories, but my brain just naturally wants to create darker fics. I am writing one that’s slightly fluffy, and it’s so hard for me to not turn up the intensity in the dark darkness.

Anyone else struggling with this?

Looking for fics where Hermione and Draco are either fake or really dating, she has a glow up after splitting with her ex ( can be Ron or someone else)
Bonus points for power couple Dramione and the slytherins being supportive

Looking for fics where Hermione is jealous, heartbroken and pining for Draco after they’ve become friends through either 8th year / work / dynamic friend group etc. Draco could be dating someone else, betrothed, or just unwilling to ruin the friendship or being hard on himself over war crimes and shortcomings.

I vividly remember a Dramione fanfic about them together maybe pre-war or during the war, and then they return to Hogwarts and people are still getting used to them together. Any ideas?

I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s watched Off Campus and I can’t help but think about Dramione as Dean and Allie.

Manwhore Draco with lover girl Hermione seems like such a perfect trope! I’m itching for someone to write a fic with Dean and Allie’s storyline incorporated with our fav couple!!!

Anyone else feel the same way or am I the only one who’s always thinking of Dramione within every fictional couple I come across????
