Saw some art by @kkkkkirrier and decided to try my own take with my own version of Goku
I spent 2 months making a oneshot manga for the Kodansha Manga Contest and documented the entire process
hey guys, maybe you might find this interesting.
so kodansha started up that international manga contest and it looked so good, like a great stand-out contest among all the others that i felt compelled to enter it somehow someway.
i documented my journey throughout it and what i did in my manga-making process so i hope u like it!
Manga help
Guys, I've got a decent to good idea for a manga, but i really suck at drawing and I'm pretty sure I'll just find up the whole thing if i start learning how to draw. I know there are a lot of AI tools out there but I can't bring myself to use it since I know how hard it is to make one and I don't want to get called out by any enthusiast. So what I need help with is that i have Clip Studio Paint EX and Krita, so i can get assets, make panels, add texts and stuff, but to make the characters, I can 3d model the pose, but how do I draw the character over the model without actually drawing
宮本 武蔵(Miyamoto Musashi).
He was a Japanese swordsman, strategist, artist, and writer who became renowned through stories of his unique double-bladed swordsmanship and undefeated record in his 62 duels. Musashi is considered a kensei (sword saint) of Japan. (From wikipedia)
It's my second post, actually. I did a dumb mistake with my first post. I used AI in a dumbest way possible to write the caption.
But here the post without AI.
Feel free to rate this on a scale of 10.
If I did any mistake, please let me know. To compare, I gave a reference of Miyamoto Musashi side-by-side.
You can suggest anything from the manga, anime, etc.
I'll give it a try. I will do my best actually.

How Spot/Capture Emotions while drawing ?[JJK Spoilers]
I was looking online and saw this dual panel picture where
the emotion on the top one is confident and the bottom one is shock
but I don’t understand the what the artist did different between the two picture.
( All I noticed is a shorter jaw and a narrow smile but everything seems the exact same)
Am I missing something? any general tips about showing emotions will be helpful too
Drawing fan comics from video game “Wizardry Variants Daphne”
I’m trying fan comics based on the video game “Wizardry Variants Daphne”. I draw rough sketches on papers at first and draw them again on digital.
Tokyo ghoul
I really like how the author draws. I tried to copy his style, by redrawing one of his arts.
Need a manga artist perably of Japanese decent for a project
I'm an author who loves Japanese culture and media, such as anime and manga. I usually write short horror stories but I decided to work on a project near and dear to me. It's a dark fantasy story about a young samurai pure in heart who comes across a dark artifact that attaches itself to him and goes on a quest. I can give further details in private but I really need a partner who is willing to be involved in the storyline and can illustrate what is happening. Please dm me if you're interested.

How do Japanese Artists (Mainly Manga) create exceptionally mind-blowing stories and art? What makes them so great that no other country in the world has such talents?
"宮本武蔵 (Miyamoto Musashi) — pen & ink" (nice touch since you already lettered his name in the piece)
A quick ink study of Miyamoto Musashi — tried to capture some stillness in the hands versus the wildness of the hair and robe. Fountain pen + micron on sketchbook paper.
Drawing Fan Comics on the Video Game
I've recently been drawing fan comics based on the video game “Wizardry Variants Daphne”. It’s a bit embarrassing to draw a manga with myself as the protagonist, but I’m having an absolute blast.
I'm drawing a Darkest Dungeon manga Part 2
Here's a sneak peek at the episode!!
I hope you're excited about this—I'd love to hear your thoughts
