Refrences for what my art looks like

My stepdad was obsessed with this dog. He was his heart and soul, despite the constant “pain and stress up the ass” he put him through. (The man fed him home cooked chicken and rice with liver for years, BY CHOICE.) Hooligan passed away of natural age complications earlier this year, and I’d like to get a cute doodle of him and puppy for his birthday. Mostly, I’m just looking for a piece that will remind him of his baby. I know the loss has been hitting him hard, and I want to see a smile on his face for his birthday. Stepdad is a pretty basic looking dude, thin with a black beard and he always wears a beanie.

She was only two years old, and I didn’t get to say goodbye to her. It would literally mean the world to me right now if someone would draw her.
Her name is Cinnamon, and she was so lively, and a literal gift.
