Hey everyone, I grew up in San Antonio and, to put it lightly, idolized Tim Duncan. On the other hand, my son is a huge Spider-Man fan. I’ve been wanting to create a mashup of the two by having Spider-Man hug the basketball similar to yhow Tim Duncan did every pre-game. I was inspired by this Spider-Man Jordan tattoo. Added some photos as context. First time posting in here, so not sure how this works. I’ve tried to create this image in ChatGPT, Gemini, etc., but keep getting hit with this violates the rules, etc., so coming here for help.
Got this tattoo a few years ago as a first tattoo as I’ve always wanted tattoos and thought getting the first one out of the way would be the doorway to more, however the experience wasn’t great. I showed the artist the design and he didn’t edit. I liked the idea at first but immediately after fell out of love. Essentially I’m looking for a way to love this tattoo again and would love some design suggestions. I like florals and bones and mushrooms and gothy designs. The artist is back in my city in a few months and I’d like them to retouch/add to it. Any help/ideas would be appreciated, thank
About 2 years ago I pretty impulsively started what I wanted to be a whole back piece. (smart move) The vision was a red dragon with black flames on one side, a black tiger with red flowers on the other and some background smoke/flames added later to bring it all together.
In hindsight I should have positioned the dragon more central and maybe gone for softer flames. My dilemma is I think it looks very out of place how it is and I really hate the bold black flames and I'm worried adding more will just add to that.
Do I carry on as I envisioned and hope it all comes together better or do I try and lighten the black through laser and just add more to the dragon and keep it an all red tattoo?

not my photo but i have a very similar vine on my arm and i am considering filler ideas. i typically like geometric/mandala style filler but i think it would look too busy with the leaves. what style of filler would you go with? would you put the filler right up between all the leaves and vines? or leave a small gap between? any ideas or thoughts appreciated!

Here's some reference photos that are pretty close, especially the second one, but I'm thinking more fleshy and rotten if that makes any sense. Like as if something has crawled it's way inside the skin from many spots and left it all infected and rotten.

My partner is British and, through him, I’ve completely fallen in love with the UK. And I don’t really mean London, famous landmarks, dramatic countryside or the postcard version of Britain.
I mean just… the UK. The normal, everyday version of it. 😂
I visit almost every month now and for some reason I’ve become ridiculously fond of the ordinary British stuff, the towns, the roads, the shops, the slightly questionable weather, the general atmosphere. It feels weirdly like a second home to me at this point.
So I’d really like a small tattoo that represents the UK to me, but I absolutely do not want a Union Jack, Big Ben, a red phone box, a rose/thistle, or anything along those lines. I don't want the ridiculous Pinterest ideas.
I’m looking for something subtle where a British person might look at it and go “yep, that’s very British”, while everyone else would probably have no idea.
It can be slightly funny, but I don't want it to be a full-on joke tattoo either. Something I could genuinely keep forever.
So.. My beautiful British folks, what object, symbol, tiny detail, food, sign, random piece of everyday British life, etc. instantly screams “UK” to you?

Heyy everyone, I've been wanting to get my first tattoo, i'm quite inspired by african masks and traditional art. I really want a tattoo related to nature and the mask to represent resurrection.
This is a concept drawing I've made (yes it's bad) but it gives an idea. What I like about it is that it has two ways to be viewed as either an Octopus (ny fav animal) and an african mask and I wanna play with this optical perception. The concept of the tentacles/hair being ferns relates to the nature concept and I'd like to keep that. I need help with the mask and overall composition. If anyone can also give me advice on the style of tattoo artist i should find please do. I was thinking fine line as I want it to sort of blend in with my skin, which it will with time, so the fern would sort of fade into my skin.
Anyways if anyone talented can draw this out as a concept I'd appreciate it.

I'm looking to get a book Tattoo with my best friend. Our idea is the blue bookworm from Labyrinth sitting on top of an open book which is on top of a stack of 4 books with a teacup and saucer next to it. We want to be able to put authors names or book titles on the spines of the books. I have a tattoo artist I love but I normally give her a rough sketch to work off of and I can't find a good reference for the bookworm that I like. I'm willing to pay $5 for a rough sketch or more for a really well drawn final design.
