I’m looking for a firm hybrid mattress in King size for under $900. I’m a back sleeper and want something supportive without feeling like I’m sleeping on a hardwood floor. Durability is also important. I’d like something that won’t start sinking after a few years.
Has anyone here tried the DreamCloud Hybrid? How firm and supportive is it, and how has it held up over time? Open to other suggestions too.
I spent way too much time reading mattress posts after ordering a DreamCloud because some of the reviews here had me second-guessing the purchase. I honestly almost canceled it.
Now that I’ve actually slept on it for a while, I’m really glad I didn’t.
I’m mainly a side sleeper, with some stomach and back sleeping, and it’s been really comfortable. It has that soft, sink-in feeling I like, but still feels supportive enough that I don’t feel like I’m completely swallowed by the mattress.
Before this, I was sleeping on a mattress that was probably 20+ years old, and I’d regularly feel uncomfortable around my hips, lower back, and shoulders when lying down. With the DreamCloud, I actually look forward to getting into bed.
It definitely wasn’t the cheapest mattress I’ve bought, but for me it’s been worth it so far. Just wanted to share a positive experience since I was pretty nervous after reading this sub before ordering.

I have a dream cloud queen setup with an adjustable bed frame.
However I want to set certain buttons to certain heights/ reset the emote? Like three of the options are going to the same setting and I don’t think that’s right.
Is there a way to set a position and have the button remember it for one of these four preset buttons tv book and sleep?
It’s been pretty annoying and I’d rather not return it for one that you can at least set certain things
