Matter Support
I have the L60 Ultra PE, just bought it a week ago. I’m in Canada. The website advertises Matter support, but I don’t have the option to add it to HomeKit anywhere in the settings. I’ve updated my firmware (3753). Anyone know why?

Are Dreame vacuum cleaners durable? I see a lot of issues mentioned—and how do they compare to Roborock?
Thank you in advance for your reply!
I have not gotten any updates since I bought this thing 2 week ago, current firmware: 4.3.9_3128
I have tried different settings, AI detection off, Obstacle detection off, Collision avoidance off, same weird pathing and navigation. Without AI avoidance it’s the worst, because it will run over all my cords and get stuck in them.
I even tried to tape over the cliff sensors on the bottom, but the robot wouldn’t move, as it couldn’t see if it’s wheels were on the ground.
It also is scared of the carpet, as you can see from the map, it tries to get into the carpet but just zig zags and circles around the corner, even when I have set to VACUUM carpets first, it just wanks the corner of the carpet and then goes to do something else.
My robot vacuum will make it almost all the way up the ramp into the docking station, but then stops and can’t get its way all the way in. It also seems to be not doing a full cleaning cycle that it’s supposed to and then saying the cleaning is completed. It’s less than a year old.
I chatted with support for a little bit and they want me to send it in for a repair but that seems like a huge hassle and I really don’t want to has anybody had experience with this and found a solution
Hello, from when they updated the app with the new ui, is 1 month, I don’t know if is that, my ultra 10 can’t back on station anymore.
I have push on the right to stick that.
That is the video.
I tried many things, reboot the robot, create again the map, clear the sensors of the robot, and so on.
Can someone provide a recent experience? Searching online has all sorts of experiences. Firmware in Germany that supports it? People saying it’s unstable. Support messages from official Dreame Support saying it’s going to be released March 30, 2026.
Have you used the X40 in HomeKit via matter? How is it?
Hello,
I am in France.
I bought a used Dreame V20 vacuum cleaner. It was advertised as new.
And indeed, it looked new, in its original box.
I tested the first brush, no problem.
Then, when I changed the brush, nothing.
It wouldn't charge anymore. No display. Nothing.
I tried contacting customer service. But I don't have a receipt.
The seller is ignoring me.
After searching for a solution online for a long time,
I managed to find a way to get it working again.
Disconnect the battery. Wait 24 hours. Reconnect it, and lo and behold, it works again.
The problem is that the issue has recurred at more or less regular intervals.
But now, nothing works.
I suspect a wire is loose and the device is going into safety mode.
I've seen that other models have a problem with the rotating brush.
I thought about taking it apart to see what's going on.
But I don't think the last time I did it, I didn't connect any brush. It worked and then stopped.
I'd like to try taking it apart. But I don't know if I should take it apart at the head (the motor) or the brush.
I know it might be a hassle.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Regards
I have an L20 Ultra that isn't dispensing any liquid when mopping. It only remains wet for a brief window as per the base soaking the mops. I am based out of Toronto, Canada.
Dreame indicated it is under warranty and are willing to repair. But i googled repair experiences and oh boy... It seems like a nightmarish hellscape dealing with this company's after sales.
There are several specific accounts in Canada in particular and they all seem horrifying.
I am genuinely concerned that I will have a further bricked/ damaged device returned to me.
More of a vent post… Was so excited to receive the X40 Ultra but sadly will have to return it. The setup went ahead flawlessly but soon I thought something was amiss when it never returned to the dock despite my requests. Initially I thought it was going to complete mapping before charging… but even after I stopped the mapping it could never find the dock, let alone scale the incline ramp and charge. Tried remedying the issue with tech support, including a factory reset but still to no avail… I understand these are complicated gadgets, but I feel like paying $500 should provide a bit more confidence that the product won’t be essentially DOA. Oh well, might go for Roborock next…
My floor was really dirty, so I decided to run the deep cleaning mode. Not only did the robot start moving in a completely random pattern, but it also completely missed huge sections. And finally, as if to top it all off, it “cleaned” two of the five zones and declared the job complete and went to charge.
I attached the screenshots of today’s “cleaning” as well as the previous one. What could be wrong?
Hello everyone,
Our Ultra L10S is acting up, and so far customer support hasn’t been able to help.
Does anyone know what might be causing this?
When the robot drives backwards, the mop pads start spinning and are lowered. This creates resistance, preventing the robot from reversing in a straight line.
How do you fix this weird behaviour without deleting the whole map? I swear this robot just loses its mind every few months, forcing me to delete the whole map and recreate it. Is it just me?
Found out about the poor review or non existent customer service by dream me. It’s true. Emailed them three times over 10 days no response for return / product issue. Don’t buy from it !
Hello, I have a Dreame L50s Pro Ultra and I was wondering which is better: vacuuming and then mopping, or doing both at the same time?
Hello everyone
I have family who has this robot for 2-3 years. Now it has this issue.
It can power up if it is charging in the dock. Once it powers up, the battery indicator will rapidly go up in percentages untill its 100%. We tried leaving it charging then for 1 day.
But when it leaves the dock it instantly dies.
Has anyone had this issue? And what fixed it.
My first thought is changing the battery, but I also read it could be a main board problem.
I dont have a meter to test the battery unfortunately. And a new battery costs 50$, so would be a shame to waste that if it is the board. From my understanding, it's not easy to do a main board replacement.
Country: Denmark
Bought at Elgiganten (it's out of warranty)
Which Dreame series has the intensive furniture leg cleaning function? I am sending my L40 in for repair, so in the interim I’m looking for a cheap option. I can’t live a day without at least vacuuming lol. And I surprisingly love the intensive furniture leg cleaning function!
Any recs?
