X60 Ultra for mostly hard floors + one cat?

X60 Ultra for mostly hard floors + one cat?

Trying to decide whether to buy X60 Ultra right now.

My apartment is mostly hard floors and I have one cat, so there’s always fur, litter, and dust around. The main things I care about are obstacle avoidance, smart mapping and navigation, and just having something as hands off as possible for daily cleaning.

Do you think the X60 Ultra is worth the extra money, or is the other models already good enough?

Anyone still using the Dreame L10s Ultra?

I've had the L10s ultra for over 3 years now and still love it. Haven't felt the need to change it. It is still so helpful.

I clean the robot, baseand wash the tanks are once per month.

I kinda think it's the GOAT 😅

After the L20 Ultra I don't think any free was a huge step up.

Remove advertising

I’m going to change my robot vacuum cleaner, I switch from Roborock to Dreame and the first thing I’ve noticed is that the app looks more like AliExpress than an application of a robot vacuum cleaner. I see many unnecessary options. Is there any way to hide all this?

Don’t do it - all regrets

I honestly hope I help at least one person out there. DO NOT buy a Dreame product. I had so much faith that I did the necessary research and came up with the “best” option when I purchased my X50 Ultra.

It has so many problems I honestly can’t even use it.

Switched from a roborock that had ZERO problems except for it wouldn’t avoid pet messes so we decided to switch to one with a camera and better sensing abilities.

I’ve never been more disappointed with a purchase ever.

I’ve already had to send it to get a warranty replacement and it still doesn’t work 9/10 times we try to run it.

It gets “stuck” or clogged even though we vacuum first EVERY time we use it. It can’t find its home, it just goes in circles, hardly cleans anything, misses corners, misses edges.

We have tried every possible setting , nothing helps this garbage product.

I added screenshots of the “cleaning” history where every single time it fails. This is the absolute worst worst frustrating awful purchase I am so disappointed in myself for not just going with a brand I know and trust.

[Academic] Own or ever owned a robot vacuum? Repair behavior survey (Everyone)

Hi r/SampleSize,

I'm a final-year business student at KLU Hamburg writing my bachelor thesis on consumer repair behavior for robot vacuums.

The survey takes 8–10 minutes and is open to anyone who currently owns or has previously owned a robot vacuum — brand and price range don't matter, and you qualify whether you still have it or not.

The study explores how owners feel about their devices and what they decide when something breaks: repair, replace, or something else. It feeds into a broader thesis on when it makes strategic sense for manufacturers to invest in repair programs beyond what EU regulation requires.

Thanks!

Help! Right mop pad is drooping 🫠

Anyone know how to fix this? L50 Ultra only a few months old, the right mop pad seems to be lowered while the left is raised. I’ve tried raising it by hand, as well as doing a hard reset. It seems to be having issues docking because the mop pad catches on the dock. Is also telling me the mop pads aren’t attached when they are. Something isn’t right. Help!

MOVA RAW8 Water Hookup Kit (like DREAME RAW9)

Mova has released the first water connection module for the Mova Mobius 60. This module is the same as the Dreame RAW9, which is designed for the Dreame Matrix10. I assume they are interchangeable?

L50 ultra passable threshold issue RESOLVED (mostly)

Well well well.

Firmware 4.3.9_3684 seems to have reduced artificial retardation. Got it via support.

We now have climbing ability 🥳

Will still prioritize threshold ramming before attempting climbing - but hey it's improved.

Dreame X50 Helicopter noise

Hello,

This morning our Dreame X50 started making a loud helicopter‑like noise.
We have replaced all the brushes and checked whether something might be blocking the wheels or any other part, but everything seems clean.

Sounds like a turbine motor at start-up

The robot appears to be working normally except for this loud noise.

Buy date: 12/2025

Do you have any idea what could be causing this?

Kind regards,
Marc

Is ~40% battery drain in 10 hours while unplugged normal for Dreame robots?

Hey everyone,

I unplugged my Dreame robot vacuum from its base yesterday, roughly 10 hours ago. No cleaning session was run, no schedule was active, and I didn't open the app once during that time.

(It wasn't done on purpose. I just switched off my power strip out of habit before going to bed.)

Just checked: battery is now at **59%**.

X50 Ultra still behaving super weirdly

I already made a post here a while ago, complaining about the super weird navigation of my X50 Ultra vacuum robot. Someone recommended resetting the robot and letting it map the flat again. We did that and since then, it has generally become better.

However, towards the end of vacuuming the whole flat it now behaves ridiculously, as seen in the video. I have no idea what's going on but it does this every single time - I only caught it doing it once now for the video but most of the time (and also today) it did it multiple times in a row before realizing that there is a wall.

Has anyone got an explanation/fix?

Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete – release date?

The Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete looks like an absolute beast — with the brand new Ultra Complete mopping system.

Anyone got the latest on when it’s actually dropping

Is Dreame finally dialing it back with the new L60?

The new L60 lineup has just been released (Pro Ultra, Ultra, PE, FE), and it feels like a shift away from “throw every feature possible into one robot”, toward something much more practical. It still has the core stuff people expect now: strong suction, hot water mop washing, dual brushes; but with less maintenance. And not every model is trying to be a flagship anymore.

Curious where people land on this. Do you actually want all the AI/avoidance/edge-case features, or just something that cleans well every day without messing with it? And if you were picking in this lineup, what matters more: navigation, battery, or just consistent performance?

X60 Ultra’s isn’t using the cleaning solution dispenser

Has anyone had any issues with their X60 Ultra’s soap dispenser? Mine isn’t pulling cleaning solution from the dispenser.

To be clear:

-I am using Dreame branded floor cleaner that is compatible with my device.

-I have reset my device

-I have re-installed the dispenser

Nothing seems to work. Could use some suggestions.

Why is my robot all of a sudden doing this random cleaning pattern?

L40s Pro Ultra

L40 Original packaged white liquid bottle: What was that?

I just ordered Dreame cleaning liquid but i did not know that the blue lable means - blue liquid. Now originally we got the transparent liquid and it still in the tank somehow, and now i‘ve read that the blue is actually for the detergent tank and it is concentrated. Now my first question is can i fill the blue liquid to the detergent tank or should dilute? My second question, was the transparent liquid not meant for the detergent tank?

I am pretty pissed about this because i could not order this stuff from my country only from aliexpress and the label is only in Chinese so i cannot understand what is written on it.

Tank You!!

Dreame broke my heart!💔

I’m so displeased and disappointed with Dreame and I truly don’t want to be. I really, really wanted my vacuum to work.

  1. Bought the Aqua 10 Ultra Roller and it was fantastic but then began to leak after three weeks. Damaged my hardwood floor. Returned.
  2. Upgraded to the X60 Max Ultra Complete and it was horrible. Vacuuming was subpar compared to the Aqua 10. Mapping was subpar. And mopping only occurred twice in two weeks (yes, settings were correct). It also lost the mop pads every single time it mopped. One of the days, it vacuumed for 14 hours straight. Unsure why. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Returned.
  3. Decided to try the Aqua 10 again hoping the leaking was a fluke. Sadly, after two days, got the same error, “mop cover error.” Called Dreame support. Up until this point, I had dealt with the store. The store was phenomenal. Dreame direct support was probably the worst customer service experience ever. They effectively wanted me to take the robot apart and try to self-repair even though that’s not in the manual, they insisted it was. At that point, I asked for a return label.

And this ends my tortuous experience with Dreame. Truly heartbreaking because the Aqua 10 was the best vacuum/mop combo of any I’ve ever used.

Dreame A3 AWD Pro 3500 robotic lawnmower newbie question

So, that's the first robotic mower we own in the family (it's a gift for my father) and I have a noob question.

I notice that when it's docked it is always on, it's not possible to turn it off.

And this means, if my ear is to be believed, that the LiDAR keeps spinning.

Is that how it's supposed to be?

Do I just leave it there and allow it to run its schedule? Turning it off only for maintenance and winter storage?

Thanks everybody!

X50 master minimum clearance for under cabinet dock

I am currently building my kitchen and looking for some robot vacuum - especially plumbed in models.
I have my eye on x50 master, but wonder if it will be able to dock if my cabinets has 10cm toekicks.

Is it enough, or it won’t be able to dock with just 10 cm of clearance?
