Advice for cleaning dirt packed in all the crevices

There are a total of 3 pieces; one large and one small whitish piece and the dark shark tail piece. They're just meant to be show pieces on the shelf, not in an aquarium or anything

Cleaning

I've soaked them in a bucket of detergent twice, followed by soaking in plain water and changing the water after 24 hours. Also tried to wash off with a jet spray and brush off the dirt, all after each detergent soak. But there still is a lot of stubborn dirt packed in all the nooks and crannies. This does come out with a tooth pick so its not some stain or part of the wood, but its impractical to clean it all with a tooth pick

Bleaching

After successfully cleaning I plan to bleach it with Hydrogen Peroxide 3% Food Grade

Coating

Finally will coat it with a polyurethane spray paint coating

Any advice for cleaning, bleaching and coating is greatly appreciated. Thankyou
