I'm driving myself crazy with mixing pls help

what am i doing wrong? I want this to sound well balanced but predominantly bassey. I feel confused as to how i can make it sound more low end for those without sub - what freq band would i have to boost/eq out? Any constructive feedback would be very much appreciated!! Are my vocals too loud? I'm genuinely about to lose my mind with this track: https://on.soundcloud.com/gi96dJv0eqtzzVV08I

Reference track (it's not the exact sound i'm after but it's close enough, I like that you can hear the low end without having a sub): https://youtu.be/Gb4UJlHfT64?t=68

Getting into mixing sounds and edm

I really want to get into mixing songs or creating stuff mainly in the field of electronic music, techno, dubstep, etc… but i have literally no knowledge in music theory.

I really love sounds and ambiences that Apex twin makes, also like skrillex, prodigy, 90s techno and been found of pinkpantress lately. Also have an interest in touchdeigner (im a graphic designer) and like the connection of visuality and music.

Where should I start? Ive been looking in the internet for learning material but there are so many and idk can you recommend some great youtube channels or basically anything that can be a good starting point?

Sry for the grammar mistakes english is not my first language

When & How To Use Compression?

When do I use compression and how do I use it correctly? I just leave it on the default settings when I ever use it. Is that good enough? I don't wanna over compress and lose dynamic range and sound quality in my sounds. So far I just been turning sounds up and down when needed in the mix without using compression

Fixed up my dubstep track. Made the basses and the synths and even the sub bass louder like many of you suggested. Let me know what you guys think 🙂

Does anyone know how to make dubstep remixes?

I’m a beginner producer and I’m planning to start working on dubstep remixes of songs. I tried looking for tutorials on YouTube but no such luck 🤷🏿‍♂️

Said - Nya

Hello everyone. Im looking for the stems of the song Said - Nya

There was a remix contest 10 years ago, but the video with the stems got deleted, and they aren't anywhere on the internet, even tho they were public. Idk where else I could post this, if you have them please send them to me :)
