What boots to wear?

I used to always wear neoprene and they have the boot built-in and my buddies always use fishing wader and they would move 10 times faster and they won’t be as hot as I would during the hotter months of duck hunt. What should shoes I buy because I bought fishing wader?

Drake jacket

Anybody rocking the Drake LST hardline series? Recently gotten back into duck hunting and going back up North and last time I was there I froze. Have better layers but need a new jacket. Anyone have this jacket and has it been warm enough in the late season?

Herters Waterfowl steel decent?

Anyone have any experience with it? Is it worth grabbing a case of Herters waterfowl steel? I’m not seeing a ton of info or reviews on it, I assume it’s just Winchester repackaged like their other ammo.

Fat Guy Duck Hunter

To all my big guys do you find it difficult to find quality duck hunting in your size? Would you buy from a website that had all top of the line products that focuses on big boys?

New motion decoy on social media

Has anyone seen the ads pop up on social media for a company called first flight? They made a device to hook on to any decoy that turns it into a swimmer. They are doing "early access" on their site but no reference to a price. Seems like it would be a solid product depending on the pricing. If they make it what is worth ($40-60 imo) its a solid option but like most of this industry they are probably gonna want $100+ which at that point might as well get a higdon battleship. Anybody heard anticipated pricing? Just want to know if I should do the early access or write the idea off in my head.

Explain duck hunting like I'm 5

Id like to try duck hunting this fall. I'm interested in mallards and teals. I'm in Maine with no public land and public blinds etc. But I'm on the coast pretty far up north near new Brunswick.
So what's the strategy? Get some decoys, drop them in a water body, wait for ducks to fly over and shoot them when they land?
How to pick a spot where to get set up?

I do have a good understanding of the regulations I believe, just really trying to understand where to start

Getting better at calling

I’ve been taking duck calling lessons and am not improving. Not sure if I’m tone deaf or slow. I can’t afford more 1:1 lessons, what’s the best way to improve? I have a RNT Daisy Cutter.

Ammo recommendations

Going on my first Louisiana duck hunt this December and trying to figure out what ammo to buy.
Gun is a Benelli SBE3 (3.5” chamber). Most shots should be around 40 yards. We’ll be at whatever ducks are flying that day but mostly wood ducks and other similar size ones
If you were only buying one load, what would you run?
3” or 3.5”?
#2, #3, or #4?
Brand recommendations
Steel or bismuth

Kayak Hunting Idaho

I just bought an Ascend 10T and was looking for recommendations on how to best hunt with it. Anything from safety recommendations or upgrades. Also I just moved to Southwest Idaho and only know of a few spots to go (CJ, Roswell, Montour). Any pointers to where I should go look and do some scouting (spots that work with or without the kayak). Added a picture of the kayak and my most prized duck I’ve ever harvested.

5 month lab puppy training

My fiance and i bought a black lab puppy from the shelter when he was 2-3 months old. I had the hopes of training him for duck hunting. The issue is i started training him consistently but then we lost my father in law and moved basically right after we got him, so training slowed way down basically stopped. Ive been trying to get him back to training but now he is more interested in butterflies and eating grass lol. Any tips on breaking him of that and getting him back on track?
