Ay-yi-yi-yi-yi
Alpha 5 has joined my Power Rangers Dummy 13 remix group this week.
Based on the Mini Dummy 13 model by Josh3D on Makerworld.
Comes in 3 single color plates, and paintable to your liking for the finer details later. Although the base black/red/gold looks pretty good as well!
Thanks for looking!
This is my first dummy 13 I have printed. I printed it yesterday and made it today. I printed it with the original head but realised it was kinda lowkey overused with these dummy 13s so I spent some time finding heads and accessories. The guns failed but the heads and vests and other stuff came out fine. How is this for my first dummy 13? I only started printing three months ago.
I was just walking through the French market in NOLA and there’s a guy selling 3d printed stuff. Typical stuff you see at things like that - dragons and statues and fidgets and whatnot.
But then I noticed he was selling dummy 13 figures. They looked like they were printed in pla at about 200%. He didn’t have any price tags on them and there was a billion people all over so I didn’t try to flag him down and ask.
Is that ok? Can you sell dummy13 like that? I would think that would be some kind of copyright issue.
Anyways here's a quick intro bout him
Name: DHM
Height: 7'7
Personality: mostly a stressed but "okay with life" typa guy
Race: half human, half cyborg,
quick lore: Became a cyborg due to a fatal train accident and was rebuilt by scientists
When I found Dummy 13 I thought it was the raddest 3d printed toy ever, with so many cool community accessories it seemed like the type of toy I remember from my childhood. I'm a 90s kid, my Gi Joes were the 1:18 scale, I had tons of the action figures, even had the big base for a while I'd play in my front yard for hours having massive battles with elaborate storylines (at least for a 7 year old). That said, I was really disappointed in the lack of Dummy 13 vehicles, the GI Joe vehicles were the best part of playing outside with your action figures. The cool thing about 3d printing though, when you see a need in the market you're only a few beep boops away from having something to offer.
My goal with this “Dummy Jeep” was to make something that would be genuinely fun to play with for a long time (like the Tonka Jeep that I still own from my childhood) but that also had the upgradability and customization opportunities that have made Soozafone's creation so popular. While I have my own upgrade and accessory ideas for my creation, I hope that someday others start designing cool upgrades and remixes as well.

Was testing out some Dummies/Carbons looking for some cheap goons/mooks to pose with other figures, learned the hard way that the tolerance on the wrist joint (even in PETG) is pretty unforgiving when the hand attaches to it a certain way. At least it's easy enough to print a replacement, though any tips on avoiding this in the future? Would some Shock Oil do the trick, or does it just get sucked up into the layer lines?
Though I was considering printing a new one at a slightly smaller scale (about ~110% to match 1/12 scale a bit more closely versus this fig's 120%) so this might be a career-ending injury for ol' Blue here after all.
printed thes guy last week and thought I’d show them off
Anyone know how long it takes for a Titan 13 order to be shipped because I haven’t gotten a single update in over a week
