Did NOT think Norway would win, congrats to them

My first love was definitely Jordans. But when I bought the Fly Streetwear collab, I was hooked. There's nothing like the storytelling on a Nike SB Dunk! I had to replace my FS (sold) but didn't know with what just yet. I got really excited for the story and color blocking on the Bluetiles and despite the resell I went ahead and copped. $70 above retail isn't ideal but it's not terrible. Plus the hits of orange match an ACG shirt my wife got me for father's day. She hates SBs apparently but I'll pair it with her shirt to change her mind. What do folks think about the pair? Ok in the rain? I wasn't expecting the suede. Thx! ✌🏾

Beyond skate shop owner Juho went on Finnish live morning TV news to officially reveal their Dunk collab.

While some find the CW a bit borning, this is huge for Finnish skate community 🇫🇮 💙

The Dunk CW is inspired by Finnish designer Alvar Aalto (born in Jyväskylä, where Beyond’s flagship store is located), who is indirectly inspired Pool skateboarding by designing some if the first recorded free form swimming pools in California, which people ended up skating in when dry.

Official info frol Beyond about the collab:

“Respecting Alvar Aalto's design philosophy, the Beyond Dunk represents Scandinavian functionalism. The shoe's Nike Swoosh logo's color, which is folded into birch, refers to Aalto's iconic furniture. The sole's shade reflects Aalto's favorite red brick. The heel of the high-top shoe is modeled after the blue glazed brick Aalto designed and used in several projects.

The shoe model, which refers to the details of Aalto's design work, has been approved by the Alvar Aalto Foundation.”
