Please help in choosing car

Hey everyone, I need your help picking out a car. I'm stuck between the Elevate and Duster right now, but feel free to suggest other options too.

Here's what I'm looking for:

SUV stance and commanding driving position.

Decent or good safety

Something that's not too boring, but not super sporty either

Just the basic features would be enough(I don't need a ton of tech)

I live in a small town, so no Duster or Honda dealerships nearby (meaning I need something reliable and easy to fix if something comes up quickly)

Most of my driving will be a mix of city and highway.

Hey, if any Duster or Elevate owners are out there, could you tell me about the cons, like service or maintenance any other stuff

Any suggestions or advice would be really helpful, guys. Thank you in advance

Hello Gang of Duster

I am just here to know what milage you are getting from your machine after its use as I also own a Duster 1.3 manual and driven it around 4500 and got around 13 kmpl overall (70% city 30%highway).

Renault Duster 1.3 Iconic demo car at ₹16L onroad- good deal?

Renault Duster 1.3 Iconic demo car at ₹16L , any first-lot issues?

I'm considering buying a Renault Duster 1.3 Turbo Iconic Manual demo/test-drive car.

- Variant: Duster 1.3 Turbo MT Iconic

- Odometer: ~1,500 km

- Price: ₹16 lakh on-road

- Registration: Currently on temporary number

- Car: Dealer demo/test-drive vehicle

I'm interested in the Duster mainly because of the 1.3 engine and driving dynamics.

My main question is whether this is a first-lot/early production car and whether there are any known issues with the first batch.

For people who have already bought or driven the new Duster:

  1. Are there any known first-lot issues?

  2. Any problems with the 1.3 TCe engine, turbo, transmission, electronics, AC, suspension, rattles, etc.?

  3. Is there anything specific I should check on a 1,500-km demo car before buying?

  4. Would you consider ₹16L on-road reasonable for this demo?

  5. Would you buy a demo car with 1,500 km, or spend more for a brand-new one?

Currently booked a PDI, but want to know the expert thoughts.

Would especially appreciate feedback from Duster 1.3 owners and people who bought early/first-lot cars.

Any user review of Duster?

I am planning to buy one and would love to hear for the Duster 2026 owners their experience with the car. The Pros & Cons, specifically around ADAS, electronics and driving experience.
