Am I delusional?

Hello, I ve been looking for almost 1 year now for my dream spec e92 m3 (euro spec, carbon roof, manual, no mods or just a few, left hand drive with CIC, around 100k km or any km if its in good codition, colour black white or grey) and yes i know im picky but its my dream car and i wanna keep it for the rest of my life. Also its not that i want the best spec for cheap, im realistic and willing to pay a fair price, for example i would pay around 50k euros for this spec with around 100k km. I looked everywhere mobile.de, cars and bids, bring a trailer, autoscout, copart, iaa, ive looked for individual websites for multiple countries. It seems impossible to find this spec in the beginning and at a reasonable price is a different story. Now i wanna ask you guys, am i delusional to think I can find this spec at around 50k eur? What do you guys think is a fair price and where could i find this spec? Would you recommend just buying a nice us spec and converting it to euro? Also english is not my first language, so sorry if i made any mistakes and thank you for your feedback!

Looking for upgrade recs for 2012 M3

Picked up a 2012 M3 Comp manual coupe, stock as far as I can tell. I’d like to make a few changes but nothing major in case I decide to sell in the near future. I’m considering window tint (ceramic vs regular?); steering wheel cover (alcantara?) to minimize wear (related, is there a gearshift cover to also minimize wear); PPF with paint correction for front; AirPlay interface (this one is low in the list). I’m also considering an M performance exhaust if I can find one, currently have it on my 2010 128 but I don’t want it to sound obnoxious! It sounds pretty good on the 1 but might be overkill on the V8?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Lowest mileage E90 M3 in existence? Only 10 km.

Saw this E90 M3 at the Wheels and Weißwurst at Lake Como, Italy today…E90 M3 with only 10 km on it in Individual Azurite Black Metallic. Of course owned by BMW M. I always wondered if there was a delivery mile example out there…insane to see a brand new one in 2026.

Vanos covers

I’m doing Valve cover gaskets and wanted to get an opinion on these Vanos covers. Should they be changed based on this condition? It’s a 2012 m3 with 124k miles. Also this is my first m car so I’m learning lol. I ordered evolve vanos covers but was just debating.

Part number

Does anyone know the part number for this? It’s a stud that holds one of the grounds and a mounting point for the ignition coil covers.

2009 M3 Silverstone Metallic DCT

Silver Metallic II represent 🤝 saw another one in the wild today and had to post mine

2009 E92 M3 DCT | Silverstone Metallic II | 180k km (~112k miles)

Had her for a few years now and she's still going strong. Rod bearings and throttle actuators are done so the big scary stuff is behind me. DCT still pulls hard and the S65 sounds as good as ever.

Honestly still one of the best cars I've ever driven. Nothing quite like a naturally aspirated V8 in a compact package. Not planning on selling anytime soon.

Anyone else rocking Silver Metallic II? I love the color changing paint , sometimes it looks silver sometimes it looks darkish blue .

86,000 miles and 6 years later.

I posted here 6 years ago in February of 2020 when I bought this car at 80k miles. I am now at 166,000 miles and it’s looking better than ever. Ask anything you want about my experience.

Scam or steal?

I’m based in China and I’ve came across this E92M3 that’s quite cheap, at least in our market for about 21k usd with 130,000 km. He’s currently the 3rd owner and it comes with some mods. It said in the post no maintenance needed when bought just buy and drive. When I had it inspected (live in different provinces). The inspector told me it was leaking oil and the car was making noises when driving(inspectors aren’t that professional). Than the seller called me I asked him what’s up and he told me the dct pan rubber o ring is
deteriorating so cheap fix. Than the other is driveshaft that was making the noise. My Chinese isn’t best in car terms so it was hard to translate. But I’ve researched on how the mounts and such will wear out and it’s a cheap fix just takes a while to do it.
He’s also said he changed the rod bearings at 88,000 (Be Bearings) and throttle actuators

He also mentioned the reason he’s selling it for cheaper than others on the market is because he’s in a hurry to get money… Feel like that’s another concern as well.

Here’s the parts list:
KW CS 2 way suspension
BPM stage 2 tune
KN air filter
Power flex black bushing (think rubber one ran out)
Rays te 37s SL 19
Brand new AP 9665 (red)
Michelin Ps4s
There’s more but these are the main bits others are mainly interior.

If there’s anything I’m missing happy to answer. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Suspension refresh on EDC. B4 or B6?

Time to replace shocks and struts. Thinking of just putting non edc b4 on the car and coding out EDC. Anyone here done the same? Is it worth getting B6 over B4?

Help please

Hey guys, so I just bought a e92 m3, 2013 dct. I’m coming from a 335i n55 e92 and I had MHD to tune and monitor the car and read codes. I see protool on bimmer geeks has a master license that can help read codes and monitor. Is this a good license to purchase? Is there any app out there that I can use to monitor like mhd does?

For the tune It seems protool doesn’t tune, which is fine. While I’m here I wanted to ask, I bought a macht schnell catless x pipe to a alibaba 304 stainless steel valved exhaust, was wondering if there’s any GOOD tune that would help me hide the check engine light, hide it like mhd does so I can pass state emission? If not at least just a good tune so I can wake the engine and trans up
