Stadium Pulse Rankings

Do the rankings for toughest places to play change each season in dynasty or is it locked to original season rankings? This was a feature on all old school NCAA CFB games and should still happen. My team sucks so bad I haven’t noticed any difference 😂.

All you can do is laugh

CB runs the route for him and they still complete the pass. I love when the CPU activates god mode during the 2 min drill and there’s nothing you can do. Idk how a EA dev can see this and be proud of their gameplay

Any new patch coming?

I really want to like this game but at the moment, I'm so frustrated. I used the sliders to try to help with the pass blocking but have no time. Also when I am able to pass, my WR just drops the ball over and over. Passing as a whole is broken. I was wondering if there will be a patch soon to address these issues?

EA Changed Throwing Deepballs: Here's how to be more Accurate and Generate Big Plays

Recently I've been seeing a lot of users complaining about the random qb accuracy on deep balls and a bunch of people have said, "step up in the pocket" & "freefrom your passes". But nobody has fully explained why this works, leaving many players frustrated. While both these tips are essential to passing, you need to know when to use each one, and that you CANNOT combine the two.

Situation 1: Clean pocket = step up. don't freeform

Situation 2: Messy pocket = Don't step up. freeform heavily,

(Clips are in practice mode on Heisman, placement & acc, 7 speed, pass lead near)

Why it works and what they've changed:

EA has buffed stepping up in the pocket to more closely resemble real life. Due to this if you step up in the pocket your QB will get an extra boost to their THP, if you then decide to freeform (which is how it used to be in previous years) you will overshoot your rec significantly. So trust your QB and do not freeform. However, EA also happened to weaken throwing standstill from the pocket, so unless you do not heavily freeform your pass, you will underthrow the ball. To avoid this, freeform almost to the max (if you have small pass lead on), this will avoid underthrows.

Lastly, passes are still heavily based on timing, ratings and RNG so these tips will not give you automatic first down's every play. However, if you do have somebody open down the field, this should help increase your chances of hitting them exponentially.

What kind of Lore/storylines do you have in your dynasty?

Probably my favorite so far. Found this 5 star QB out of Texas with the golden mullet in the transfer portal out of Ohio State. He had never recorded any stats at OSU. In my mind he is Quinn Ewers brother who followed the same path to Texas. Side note this is probably the best QB I’ve seen in my playtime. No skill caps.

CCG Tiebreakers bug

If there’s something I’m missing, someone let me know but I’m really confused as to how I’m not in the CCG. Theres a three way tie for 1st place in the Big 12 in my dynasty and per Big 12 rules, there’s a huge hierarchy of tiebreakers. I got lost in the mess, figured there’s gotta be a calculator for this and plugged our entire conference schedule into mred’s Big 12 standings calculator and the rest of the standings lined up besides the top 3 that are tied.

What does EA use for the tiebreakers? Do they use the actual rules or are they lazy and just use overall record?Utah and Texas Tech are both 10-2 while I’m 9-3. Has anyone else experienced weird tiebreaker bugs for their CCG?

Please do keep in mind that we are still on Army/Navy week and haven’t advanced to CCG week but it shows Tech and Utah playing in the Big 12 game on the schedule. There is a chance that it autocorrects after the sim to next week but I doubt it.

Play action is so fun to use!

Awesome that my 98 ovr senior HEISMAN WINNING HB still has trouble seeing directly in front of him. Really brings out the realism in the game and makes me feel immersed.

Game Crashes

I’m mainly just griping here, but does anyone else only seem to get game crashes very late in the game? It doesn’t even happen that often, but it’s really annoying when you’ve played a full game, no sim, and the game crashes with 1 minute left in the 4th. Just experienced it again and that’s the only time it happens. Never early in a game when I wouldn’t care, no only after I invested an hour of my time.

LB/CB RTG

Is it just me or does the AI never throw to anyone youre even near, like I have to be 5-6 yards off of someone for them to get the ball and obviously I cant do anything at that point. Not to mention if its a team like Oregon, better be ready for Run > RPO > Run > Short pass > RPO, genuinely want to play defense but this is making me lose my mind

Proof

Never could prove that the defense would wait to get blocked even if they're in position to make the tackle. This was even worst

RT actually gets to the second level after opening a blocking hole, then inexplicably turns around and runs into RB

Early season jitters I guess

How does this happen??

I’ve never seen anything like this while playing a game. The slant was wide open too 🤦🏾‍♂️

Anyone else have this issue? Cloud saving is not working unless I buy a subscription to it. Video shows the issue

Is there anyone else unable to create or load a cloud saved Dynasty due to needing a subscription? This issue has begged me for the last few weeks, and it’s annoying because it means that I can’t get the most up to date rosters, use team builder teams, etc. without the ability to cloud save.

Any advice or suggestions on how to fix this would be welcomed.

This subscription ish is ruining everything.

This Game Is Awful In H2H

The game in H2H is based entirely on who can cheese the hardest. Almost everyone you play beyond the lower levels uses the same "meta" defense which consists only of an all out blitz with man press coverage, complimented by either an outside or inside commitment from the dbs depending on how the other play likes the throw. They run one play all game and it more or less shuts down the pass game every time. It's not even remotely realistic and it is infuriating to play against. Offense has a little more diversity, but it still consists of guys running a handful of plays a game over and over because they are broken and unstoppable.

Even worse, people take advantage of outright broken mechanics in the game. For example, I just played a game where I was talked, hit the ground, and then "fumbled". The other guy recovered it, but I wasn't concerned because it would obviously be overturned on review. The problem was that the other guy knew a glitch. He called a timeout immediately after the play was over. As a result, the game would not allow me to challenge the previous play, which was obviously not a fumble. It's broken, it's unfair, and it's unfun.

Real football doesn't have "meta" plays that get spammed 40 times a game. If EA can't make a football game without broken plays, then there should be a limit to how many times you can call a play in one game or half. If man press blitzes shut down any semblance of a pass game, they need to make receivers beat the press more often and let blockers hold up in one on ones better. It isn't hard, but this has been the "meta" for years and no updates have fixed it. This game is, fundamentally, a broken one that you have to brutally exploit if you want to win H2H and that is deeply unsatisfying.

Why RTG feels off?

Never played a single football game in my life, but I decided to give it a try because my frat bought it. I've been learning a lot by playing, even though I've been stomping my head against the wall trying to understand the "why" behind what happens in-game.

But there's something that feels really off about RTG. I'm currently playing as a QB and decided to raise the difficulty a bit (one below Heisman, I can't remember what it's called), but it feels like every decision and play I make is a 50/50.

I've played some games with my friends and in Dynasty, and RTG feels like the AI is 99% cheating. My WRs don't seem to know how to catch the ball, constantly choosing the worst type of catch possible (like going for an aggressive catch even when the ball is coming directly to their chest). And even on easy passes, they sometimes can't hold onto the ball after making the catch, yet I still get blamed for the incompletion in-game.

Not even going to talk about the interceptions that sometimes the AI gets (I swear one of them got super speed to reach my WR one time)

Am I missing something here, or is this just the current state of the game?
