Would you buy the same mower again, or switch brands?

After a season or more with yours, would you buy the exact same mower again, or switch brands? What's the one thing you wish you knew before buying?

GOAT A3000 - Out of bounds...again

What the absolute F. This is BEYOND frustrating. It sounds like I've annoyed their support team enough that they're going to swap out my unit, but either way, I'm still pissed.

Coused by the trimmer on the GOAT A2000 Lidar PRO

I looked up youtube videos on the trimmer. I am still not exactly clear on how this thing functions. After a few uses I noticed the GOAT is not trimming at all. I put the thing in trimmer service mode, and the string is completely gone.

I dissassembled it, pulled some string back through the hole and put it back on. Now the trimmer line is slowly getting shorter which is fine, but when I push the plastic side button to pull more string out it feels stuck.

Am I supposed to disassemble this thing every time the string is used up? Or is it supposed to automatically pull more string through? If not how do I manually pull more string without having to disassemble it?

A1600 Lidar pro - mowing corners?

Hey,

I got a new GOAT A1600 Lidar pro a few weeks ago. Until now I have not found a solution regarding mowing 90 degree corners. When mapping the area I drove the mower nicely along the borders and the corners. During mowing however it decides to leave some space.

Is there a fix to this problem? The mower could just drive onto the borders in order to reach all the grass. But apparently it doesn't want to do that.

Thanks.

No go zone mowing tips

Any tips on getting the Ecovacs A3000 pro lidar closer to a no go zone? I have some tree rings that it misses about half a foot area around it. The rings were setup as no go zones post mapping.

Not mowing in summer heat feels amazing

I bought an O600 rtk mower because I was lazy lol. But after getting through the hottest part of summer, I'm glad I did. No longer have to mow in the blazing heat.

My yard isn't even that big, but the grass still needs regular upkeep. I always thought robot mowers only made sense for large lawns, so I kept doing it myself. But they are helpful for small yards too, better than I expected. Before, everytime it got hot outside, mowing turned into a sweaty weekend project, I felt like I was about to get sunburned after each session.

Now the mower just runs on it's own after setup, the lawn stays tidy without me having to think about it. That alone feels amazing.

Renting a place with a lawn for the first time, my landlord said no permanent fixtures. Anyone using the Goat A2000 here?

Just moved into a rental with a yard and my landlord made it clear, no permanent fixtures, no buried wires, no antennas. I have been researching for a while now and LiDAR keeps coming up as the go-to for wire-free setups. Currently looking at the Goat A2000 LiDAR Pro, anyone here using it? Would love to hear how it's been working out for you?

Complimentary Battery Replacement?

Update: I did just get a shipping confirmations and a tracking number. I’ll update again when it gets here.

Did anyone else get this email? Seems legit. Email address checks out. Links to the website. No payment info or anything needed. Just curious who else got this.

My bigger question is that I have two GOATS and it doesn’t specify if they’re sending a battery for each, or for just one of them. In which case I sure hope they send one for the A3000 and not the O1000.
