My A3000 lidar pro gets stuck pretty often on my St. Augustine lawn. I've set it to the lowest speed and switched the obstacle avoidance setting to "High Grass Environment".

It is able to unstick itself, but apparently it automatically returns to the dock instead of continuing on the area it was working on. Once it gets to the dock, I can tell it to continue, but I seem to be doing this 10 times for 1 area.

I don't see a setting to have it continue on error. Is there any sort of API or way I can automate telling it to continue?

This might be a deal breaker for me.

I’m looking for help recovering my ECOVACS DEEBOT T90 OMNI. It’s unresponsive, and the usual reset procedure doesn’t seem to do anything.

What happened

While we were on vacation, the robot got stuck and reported “no floor contact.” When we returned, I picked it up and placed it back in its docking station. Since then, the three-pronged control area on top has been continuously pulsing white, but nothing else happens.

Current symptoms

• The light pulses white both in the dock and outside it.
• There is no startup sound, voice announcement, or response to the touch controls.
• Pressing or holding the RESET button produces no response, regardless of how long I hold it.
• Most unusually: with the robot outside the dock and the physical power switch under the top cover set to “O” (OFF), it still keeps pulsing white.

What I’ve already tried

I’ve switched the robot off and on using the physical switch, unplugged and restarted the docking station, and tried holding RESET for different lengths of time. None of this has produced an audible or visible restart.

Before I removed the robot from the app, it showed as offline. The app also displayed “Zeitüberschreitung Abschaltung” in German—roughly “shutdown timeout.” Another screen still showed “docked,” but the cleaning controls were greyed out.

Following an app troubleshooting guide, I deleted the robot to try setting it up again. That hasn’t helped because the robot still doesn’t respond to the reset/network setup button. The problem was already present before I deleted it from the app.

There also appears to be a micro-USB port. I tried connecting it to my laptop, but I haven’t managed to get anywhere with diagnosis or recovery through that connection.

Has anyone recovered a DEEBOT from this state?

I’m particularly looking for a confirmed forced shutdown or recovery procedure beyond the standard RESET-button instructions.

Has anyone successfully resolved this by disconnecting and reconnecting the internal battery, using a service button combination, or accessing a USB recovery tool? A T90-specific procedure would be especially helpful.

Experiences with other DEEBOT models are welcome too—please mention the exact model and what worked. And if yours required repair, did the service centre identify the faulty component?

What's everybody's experience with mapping?

For me, the mobile app makes it difficult to make precise movements. I wish I could tap a button to go a few inches at a time as opposed to dragging.

For sidewalks that are level with the grass, do you map with 1 wheel on the cement or keep it on the grass? I know the edges should be mapped using the non trimmer side.

I've also found it easier to segment large areas before remapping so I don't have to remap everything.

Also, auto mapping seems to be garbage.

Any tips and tricks from anyone else?
