My A2000 has worked great for first 30 days. Suddenly I am finding it doing avoidance on random patches of grass. To resolve this I’ve turned off let avoidance and obstacle avoidance. I’ve also raised the grass height avoidance to maximum.

Anyone having this issue? It’s annoying cuz it’s just leaving random patches. When I watch it does seem to be driving around a patch of grass. Sometimes it’s cuz it’s slightly taller fescue but sometimes it’s for no reason at all.

Simple questions require simple answers.

I am asking this question because I currently have two lawn robots. The difference between what the two of them believe is a 3-in cutting height, is about 3/4 in.

My lawn tells me that the apps disagree by that much.

Traditional lawn mowers have a obvious way to measure their deck height before they start a lawn job.

How can I get the same data from my lawn robots? Serious question! 🤔

I am getting areas on the north side of the lawn where the A3000 Goat says it has no WiFi connection but the south side has no issues. If I walk out to the Goat with my phone and get in Bluetooth range, I can get it mowing again. My router is on the south side of the house. Would a WiFi Extender located on the north end of the house help solve this issue?

Just had my brand new Goat O1000rtk. Had it all set up but seems like the rtk station isn’t working as the status light is completely blank. And on the app it says the station detects zero satellites. The unit is plugged in and I have checked the link in the wire to make sure it’s connected right. Any thoughts?

Hi everyone! I have a couple of questions for GOAT 3000 owners (or anyone with a similar LIDAR mower).
I’m thinking about moving the charging station to a different location. If I do that, will I have to remap the whole yard? I assume the answer is yes, but I wanted to check with people who have actually done it.
Also, what about winter storage? If I bring the robot and charging station inside for the winter and then put them back outside in the spring, the station will probably end up a couple of inches from its original spot. Would that require a full remap too, or will the mower figure it out?

Kids put something in front of charging station (), and now my Goat A1600 RTK is refusing to dock for days now. It mows until 15% of battery and then just stops in the middle of field. It is driving me nuts. Goat always starts with mowing right there. How can that place still be marked as obstacle?

This thing somehow gets worse every time it mows. My yard is basically a football field with one small tree. AI is off, but it still thinks every shadow is an obstacle and leaves grass untouched. Unbelievable.

I own a , typically gas non automated, lawnmower repair company as my side gig, however I have a background in coding and engineering. This is not a money saving operation more of an experiment to make something work that I was told cant work again. So far I have determined that the battery is likely dead but I have a tab welder and plan on replacing the dead cells, when I give the mower its nominal voltage through a desktop power supply it comes alive but Its stuck in a boot loop. I have found a couple threads on Github about firmware issues with this model, Has anyone been able to flash one not OTA? Is there even a port to do so?

Ive had an Ecovacs GOAT 2500 for a year. We've had issues, and after troubleshooting with the company at length, they sent us a 3000. Wondering if anyone has experience with both and could listen to me bi!ch.

With the 2500, I had the security feature turned on, so that if the unit was lifted off the ground it would beep and all that. Seems like a good idea, except... If the the 2500 would get confused and stuck (which would happen constantly) it seemed my only option was to:

1. turn off, pick it up and return to charging station (which of course would lose any progress I had

2. go to manual control and drive it back to the charging station. which is just ridiculous because the speed is governed in this mode and it's slow AF

Is the 3000 destined for the same behavior? It's one of the most frustrating things about the GOATs.

I have a o1200 lidar pro.
I notice that it doesn’t cut close the edge everywhere and leave some spots of up to 1x1m uncut at places along the edge.
What’s the best way of improving the map?
Remap the whole thing and start over?

Hi, torn between 1000 lidar pro and 2000. Done all the search I can, and so far the only diff seems to be just one last longer per charge for larger lawn and dual blade. I'm trying to find out if 2000 cuts faster due to dual blade two rotating plates, does it cover more area ? Like under the same setting does one finishes same size lawn faster than other ? The AI kept saying 2000 cuts about twice faster 4k sqft per hour vs 1000's 1500-1900 sqft per hour. I don't know how true that is because the size of mower isn't that big of difference. Does anyone know ? I have about 9k sqft lawn so 1000 should be fine for capacity but I want something that can be done the quicker the better.

According to the website it cut up to the edge, but when i map it nearly touching the fence when i turn on edge cut it stays away 20cm from the fence, even with my pathway where I did drive with both wheels on concrete it does not even reach the grass up to the edges
