Mano, fui comer uma maçã e na primeira mordida apareceu isso.

É perfeitamente redondo, parece feito de um tecido diferente da parte "carnuda" da maçã e ainda se soltou perfeitamente dela. Tem um cheiro bem doce e não tem cheiro pungente de coisa apodrecida. Será uma espécie de "câncer", uma maçã crescendo dentro da maçã?

Essa maçã estava na geladeira, mas estava longe de congelar.

Eu ouvi algo aqui no reddit com relação ao acúmulo de CO2 dentro dela e problemas de armazenamento, mas sla.

I found this on a leaf of my roses. It certainly looks like some kind of eggs of some animal. Good or bad animal for the roses? The leaves are cut off already, so it probably won't survive anyway.

I gave it a good 6~months of researching 🧐 but I’m pretty sure the last recorded documentation of this 🥒 species in Texas was 1922!!! UNTIL MEEE back in
January 2026.

Thanks to the amazing Cuke researchers who came through on Reddit/FB with the paper depicting the species and I found the Hubert Clark reference/noting the species in Texas once over a century ago!!! 104 years to be precise! And thank you @coastal.studieslab for sending another paper in the search for data on it!
