How risky is it to eat food that was left out overnight?

I have fried rice, chicken katsu, and grilled veggies that I ordered last night. I ate the sushi last night and was planning on eating this for dinner tonight.

I forgot to put it in the fridge, and it sat out on the counter all night. I HATE wasting food. It literally pains me. I also spent a lot of money on DoorDash, so it makes it even more painful.

My sister unexpectedly passed away 2 weeks ago, and I just haven’t been thinking clearly lately. I’m so mad at myself for this. Feeding myself has been hard lately and I’m genuinely tore up over this.

I put it in the fridge and still want to eat it for dinner tonight. If I reheat it properly, how risky is it?

Update: I’m not going to eat it. I ordered pizza with the rest of my DoorDash gift card I got from work, and I WILL remember to put my leftovers in the fridge this time!

Still sad about it tho lol

OK what on earth. I wish I was joking but I've just found this pack of burger buns in my pantry... They have been in there for nearly a YEAR! Not a speck of mould on them and they still feel soft through the plastic... What on earth is in them!?

Glad I don’t have to eat the food my husband cooks.

My husband cooks his own meals. This is his cast iron pan. It has never been washed. He doesn’t pre-heat it either. Just takes a specific weight of ground beef or chicken and throws it unseasoned in this cold cast iron pan and then leaves it to cook. Flips it over about 3-4 times and has a pot lid covering it to help cook it faster.

Saw this at the beach, probably not dentures, right?

I left the beach certain it was dentures, but a reverse image search said it could be a chiton? Does this live on earth with us?

Forgotten hotdog

I forgot one poor hotdog on my grill three weeks ago when I went to our local sandbar. Discovered today and it made me sad. And hungry.
