Great place to get a Reuben sandwich?

Moving to Edgewater this week! I’ve been on a Reuben kick lately and was looking for recommendations to find a good Reuben or deli in Edgewater/Rogers Park.

Where to watch the Mexico vs England game in Rogers Park?

Hey all, where is everyone watching the Mexico vs England game tomorrow? Would love to watch with a crowd, preferably with more Mexico fans. I know there are tons of watch parties around the city, but haven’t seen any for Rogers Park. Thanks!

Why am I hearing fireworks every night?

It's 1 a.m. Just heard another one.

I've been hearing fireworks occasionally for the last week, probably. Usually 1-3 a night.

Pride fireworks? Late juneteenth fireworks? Early 4th of July fireworks? I'm so confused.

The New 400 sign has been updated

I haven’t heard anything else about the 400 coming back, but this has been the action taken since they made the reopening announcement months ago. Can’t wait, hope it’s great!

Large Suits

Hello!

A handful of years back I spent a decent amount of money having three custom, monogrammed suits made, plus several custom dress shirts.

The thing is, at the time I weighed ~300 pounds. In the last year, I have dropped to ~180.

These expensive suits obviously no longer fit me, and honestly I doubt they can be resized to such a drastic extent without having to be completely recut.

I hate to get rid of them, feels like just throwing away a couple thousand dollars, but also they're just taking up space in my closet.

Anyone have any suggestions regarding what I should do with these suits? Are there any good charities in the area I should consider donating to, or what? Don't want to just toss them into a goodwill bin or something

Quigley inviting people to Uptown Theater

So apparently Mike Quigley is announcing his mayoral run Saturday at the Uptown Theater.

Does anyone know the back story. There have to be major safety concerns.

It was 1981 when the pipes burst, flooding the renovation plans.
