Apparently at around 3:00 a.m., some mental genius decided to set a clothes rack on fire inside the Walmart at Danforth and Santa Fe. The store is closed for the time being. This includes online pickup and home delivery. According to news sources, the same suspect also set a clothes rack on fire at the Walmart at Penn and Memorial.
Have ticks been bad for anyone else with this crazy wind? I know that we’ve already been having a lot of them this year in Edmond and OKC, but with this wind the past few days it seems that every time I go outside, either one of my family members or I get a tick. Has anyone else had this issue? And how can I prevent this?
My wife and I are currently separating, but I'm thinking about filing for divorce and skipping the intermediate step. The separation was her idea. I don't know her reasoning, but I suspect it may be to wait out my startup — which is just starting to show revenue potential — so she could claim part of it later. I don't want to assume the worst, but I do want to protect what I'm building.
Otherwise, our situation is pretty simple. We're selling the house and splitting the equity. She earns more than I do as of 8 months ago when I lost my W-2 job. I now run a business that's beginning to produce. We have two kids and no custody disputes — she's a great mom, I'm a great dad. She travels often for work and we have no family nearby, so she is going to depend on me to be here when she travels, and I'm happy to do that.
I don't need a shark. I need someone who can set fair boundaries for both of us. And one that protects me from losing everything I'm working so hard for.
No idea what a retainer looks like for something like this — I'm guessing around $3K?

As the title says. I used to live in Stillwater and had a few friends I’d toss a few back with in the garage, listen to some tunes and play some very non competitive table tennis with lol I’ve been missing that and was wondering if anyone is down to play a few games and just shoot the shit.
This isn’t some weird sexual thing. I’m legit talking about playing ping pong in the garage at night after the wife and kids go to bed. Without giving my exact location in ROUGHLY around memorial and Rockwell and just want to play ping pong again. I have legit paddles to play with so no need to bring any equipment unless you have your own paddle you want to play with.

Plot twist: this is written by an HVAC company, but you should still know this heading into summer.
There’s a remarkable amount of service calls we go on that could have easily been avoided. Here’s what you should check before the heat comes.
FILTERS! Pull it out, hold it to a light. Can’t see through it? Replace it.
Outdoor AC unit: is it actually running? Clear debris within 2 feet, check if your breaker tripped.
Vents: are they all open? Closing vents to save energy actually damages your system.
Thermostat: is it set to COOL and not FAN ONLY (we really get these calls)
Red flags if you DO call someone: if a tech is in and out in 15 minutes without actually digging into anything. That’s probably not a full diagnostic. Make sure they’re thorough, ask the tech questions.
Ask to see the numbers: refrigerant pressure, temperature split, static pressure. If they can’t show you, push back.
There are a lot of great HVAC companies in OKC who genuinely take care of their customers. Ask neighbors, check Google reviews, get multiple quotes on new systems.

Hey dudes, I recently moved out of Edmond and after cancelling my utility services, my deposit was credited towards my balance, and now when I pull up my account it only shows that my amount due is a negative amount, indicating I’m owed somewhere north of $100. Does anyone know how I can get this money back? There doesn’t seem to be an option to have it direct deposited back into my bank account.
