I love the threads of "best x in San Diego" but I live in the hills above El Cajon so sometimes recs can be far outside of middle eastern food.

I think I'm going to start some "what are your favorite x in East county threads so people can search for east county specific threads; I would like La Mesa to be the furthest West for recs to be located.

With that in mind...

What are your favorite pizza joints in East County?!

Hi everyone!
I’m looking to join a carpool or rideshare from El Cajon to Downtown San Diego for work.
Route:
📍 Starting area: El Cajon (92019)
📍 Destination: 1200 Third Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
Arrive by 8:00 AM
Leave around 5:00 PM

I’ll be starting a full-time position with the City of San Diego and her phobia from driving so I’m hoping to find someone who already commutes downtown or another person interested in sharing rides. I’m happy to contribute to gas, parking, or other commuting costs.

We mostly do El Cajon / East County hikes - but anywhere in San Diego County is fair game.
