Int build help

Hey guys! I shared a build a couple of days ago on an Int build that I was using. With all of the advice I got from here, I moved some points around and picked up new talismans and weapons. How does it look now? Am I moving in the right direction? Thanks!

Don't know were to put my level in to from this point

I just beat Malenia for the first time(just felt like saying she was hard but I had a worse time with the absolute radiant from hollow knight💔) and don't know where to continue putting my levels in to.

I'm going for intelligence build with the sword you get from ranni and sorcereries and I kinda want to put some points in to faith to access some incantations but I first wanted to make sure im not neglecting an important stat.

Dragonkin Soldier Build with Rock Heart

(Sorry I wasn't able to skip Godrick's drama)

I noticed that the Rocks Heart's dragon transformation invokes the mummified appearance of Dragonkin Soldiers so I decided to use it for this dragonkin soldier cosplay.

For this build, I used the following weapons:

Dragonscale Blade (thematic dragonkin soldier weapon)

Forked Greatsword (with Chilling Mist; Looks like an ice lightning version of Ancient Dragon's Lightning Spear when buffed by the AOW. Bleed weapon)

Beastclaw (with Beast's Roar; Invokes a draconic fighting style while granting a cheap ranged attack. Bleed weapon)

Claws of Night (still kind of thematic since Dragonkin Soldiers are associated with the Nox race which are worhippers of the night. Another Bleed weapon. Even if this weapon is no way associated with the Nox, the "Night" in it's name is a perfect excuse to use this LOL)

Dragon Communion Seal (buffs Dragonclaw Incantation)

Wazikashi (with Parry; Powerstances with Dragonscale Blade)

For the Incantations:

Dragonclaw (the only Dragon Communion incantation I included because the dragon head esthetic of the other incantations breaks my dragonkin soldier immersion)

Frozen Lightning Spear (without this, this build is nothing LOL)

Noble Presence (not associated with dragonkin soldiers, not shown in the video but doesn't break the dragonkin soldier look. I also noticed that it doesn't reset frostbite)

Blackflame Blade (your frostbite reset without breaking the build immersion)

What stats will allow my mage to use any spell/incantation?

I want to make him use any spell and incantation. I know my vigor will probably be around 40 or so. But I was theory crafting from fextralife's elementalist build but I want to use a weapon of some kind, so I was thinking the mesicorde cause I think it looks cool. I wanted to make him become a black wizard/ black mage inspired by the class from final fantasy. I really asked this because in his video he doesn't use any melee weapon. And idk if I would need to tweak it since it came out I assume before dlc.

Also this is not going to be optimal, but tbh I just want to have fun lol.

Here's the video from fextralife I'm referencing. https://youtu.be/1xu2ApJHH0o?si=BWD8FjZcyopt78x0

Honestly, this build is pretty fun

Never thought I'd like a FTH/ARC based build, but here we are. It's nowhere near done, I plan on getting a lot more incants, but it still does good as is

Best AoW for my dex build

So. I am doing a dex build with the scythe, and am debating between three AoW’s. I could do spinning weapon, sword dance, or double slash. Each three have pros and cons, which would you advise? I’m currently using spinning weapon to build up bleed faster.

Is the Fire Knights Greatsword good on a dex/arc build?

Is this viable on a dex arc build? I understand that it's primary use is in faith builds, but that A scaling in arc on the occult infusion is really intriguing. I wanted to know if it would hold its ground in combat before I upgrade it.

What should I put in this talisman slot and should I change anything in my physick

I just beat Renlana and got the talisman pouch and I don’t really know what I should slot in there (and with my physick I also just don’t know if there are better tears for my build) the build itself is a “dancer” build based on flowy weapons or ashes of war or basically anything boosted by the DLC dancer set I did cheat backhand blades in because they’re my favorite for flowy movesets and also I hate power stancing

L2 Ash of War Spam....Strict ARC Bleed build.....RoB or EP?

Lv 185 in base game and DLC. About to start NG+.

Too lazy for move sets so planning to abuse L2 ash of war.

Will dump 80 into ARC and the rest into other stats. I have both unlocked but haven't upgraded yet. Got dragon seal+10 and some dragon breaths as well to mix things up and for crowd control.

I know RoB got the massive nerf but people say, it's OP again with DLC. I do have Rakshasa set and dancer set but not sure if the dancer set works on EP?

TIA.

Shamshir Build

Hey guys! Currently trying to use the builder to figure out what stats my lvl 150 build should have to get the absolute most damage on a Shamshir, but i can’t figure it out. I see most ppl just use pure strength, also some using dex. But what do ya’ll think?

I want that standard!

I absolutely LOVE how commander’s standard looks. It’s long, it uses poke moveset and has cool buff instead of some fighting move (which is bad for some people, but I find it quite enjoyable). Can I make non-boring run with that thing? Like not just level str and poke, I’m talking about pairing it with some other amaments/shields/magic? Maybe you had some funny runs with this thing being your weapon and not just casting stick?

Basic Keen twinblade with no status- can it work?

I’ve recently been playing around with limiting my reliance on statuses, as I realize each character I play usually uses bleed, or rot, or frostbite, and I’ve decided to start a character that will only stack damage buffs, no statuses. I’ve been having a ton of fun with a dual heavy straight sword run focusing on square off and staggers, but it got me thinking about the dexterity side of things, and more than that, straight R1/L1 attacks with no jump spam.

Obviously Millicent’s Prosthesis and Winged Sword are the play here, probably turtle too, but I’m wondering if this will even be viable past Caelid. Twinblades without status build up are… mid at best. What are your thoughts on trying to make this kind-of challenge run work?

More on the Aggressive Posture Break build

Wanted to show more of the dueling shield’s performance and how effective the Swift Glintstone Shard is at posture breaking and punishing bosses from a distance

Misericorde for main weapon

Yes you read that correctly, I am not asking for a main weapon "for" the misericorde, I am preaching to you the gospel of the two handed London Handshake distributer.

Disclaimer: I am well aware the optimal use of the objectively best stabbing instrument in the lands between is as an off hand for crit purposes only. But we aren't looking for optimal here, we are looking for stupid, funny and most importantly: fun. So let's sit down and discuss how a build around the swiss cheese maker would look like.

Did you know that the Misericorde has a special heavy attack? I most definitely didn't for the longest time because when do you ever use a charged attack with a dagger, let alone one you wield with two hands? In short: it's good, like reeaaalllyy good. It's essentially a thrusting sword heavy attack with a way faster animation in exchange for lower damage. This also means it does piercing damage, the best physical damage type in the game by far (counterhit yada yada etc.). Now, most people would look at the 17.6 stance damage of a dagger's R2 and would clock out there. But I doubt people realize just how crazy fast that attack is. You know when Malenia starts her attack chain with a spinning kick? If you walk backwards to dodge that kick you have enough time for a fully charged heavy with a dagger to interrupt most things she would do as a follow up.

If an opening a boss gives you is long enough for one roll attack with a colossal weapon, it's long enough for a fully charged dagger heavy (it's about the same stance damage). If it's long enough for a full greatsword R2 it's long enough for 2 dagger heavies. And suddenly in one opening you have done 35.4 stance damage, which doesn't seem so bad anymore, does it?

But is that alone enough to warrant a crit build focused around the stagger damage of a dagger? God I wish, but we can't have nice things without a little effort. Enter "Glintblade Phalanx", an ash of war whose stance damage was cut in half with the release of the SOTE DLC. While not as incredibly broken as it used to be, 20 stance damage which you can essentially do whenever you normally wouldn't do anything but wait for the boss to attack is still pretty damn nice. It also quintuples the amount of knives in your vicinity, making you a true resident of the Frankfurt central station. Having access to the cold infusion for 20% more damage on everything after the frost proc is obiously also nice.

With the Misericorde's R2s and a few Phalanxes woven in you can easily stagger even the 120 Stance bosses within 3-4 interactions.

Another nice thing is that light rolling basically comes free with this build, as your only other weight is a metal toothpick and some shiny trinkets. And how about we talk about those trinkets. The dagger talisman is a given and since we basically only use charged heavies, the Greatsword and Axe Talisman are also obvious contenders. For the last slot I usually prefer the Ritual Sword Talisman because I recently found out that bosses actually die faster if you do more damage. Same goes for any piece of the Rakshasa Set that you can fit.

Thank you for listening to this heretical TED talk, so far I managed to no hit Malenia, Mogh, Messmer and Bayle using this build and I'm setting my sights on Midra next.
