Boss is immune to my build. What do I do?

I'm playing a Grave Scythe with cold infusion and this boss in the snow area is immune to it. I swapped to blood flame blade to try bleed but he's immune to it too. What am I supposed to do when my build doesn't work on these bosses? I've seen videos of people beating the whole game with this set up but I don't understand how they get around this.

Whats an unconventional/interesting pairing for a straight sword build?

As in something in the left hand other then the usual shield/straight sword (dual wield)

what some interesting combos you can pull off?

Rate this Melee-Caster hybrid build (RL125)

Build history

I was planning to make a h2h build and I found out that the highest damaging affinities were:

  1. Sacred / flame art (faith)

  2. Magic (int)

Both were a viable option while allowing a hybrid melee / caster build.

Faith having the advantage of 2 damage types and Incants while int having overall higher ar and more buffability.

The thing that gave int the edge was the fact that buffs could double down for the spells as well if done right.

Build specifics

Being a hybrid it's able to perform very well at range and up close, good single target and aoe as well.

The weapon art has near unbreakable hyperarmour and can deal 4-6k+ damage depending on the active buffs (and debuffs) and enemy resistances. Combine with glitblades for unmatched burst of both damage and stance damage while maintaining good ranged combat.

The armour in use is optimised for damage negation with circlet of light. You can use anything for fashion if you like. I do encourage crabs as they have very good synergy with the build.

Swaps

There's quite a few things you can additionally have but this is one of the few builds that I didn't really need much.

Lusat / azur staff (+radagon) are good swaps.

Off hand staffs or armour pieces can help if you are utilising any spells that can be boosted.

Have the insignia + prosthesis ready for when you encounter aggressive close range enemies. Or small enemies that stagger are also good candidate depending on the situation.

You can switch scorpion with dragoncrest when going full AoW trading mode. And you WILL out trade anything.

Planning on starting fresh with a spear and shield character

Like the title says I'm planning on making a brand new character with a spear and shield build. What I wanna know is what class should I start with and what should I use

Ng+7 build tht doesn’t need insane buff routine?

As the title suggests I’m looking for a ng+7 build that is ideally fun and doesn’t require me to buff up in front of a buss for 2 years just to get one or 2 tapped

Would like some advice for my current build

This is my first playthrough of eden ring, and I've mainly been doing it blind so I haven't looked up anything. But I'm stuck on Melania rn and was just wondering if there's anything I can do to improve my "build" stat or like talisman wise?

What are some fun but good faith scaling weapons?

I already know about the blasphemous blade and I've been using it for the past few bosses but the problem i have is it just that it gets boring after a while. I need a weapon that pumps out damage and scales with faith that's also different and wont bore me to death by just spamming one attack over and over. Im currently almost level 150 and these are my stats

Edit: I beat elden ring today using the fire knight's greatsword for both gideon and godfrey and for radagon and elden beast i switched to a fire art infused black steel twinblade with the black flame tornado AoW .I also ended up getting some talismans for resisting holy damage and lord's divine fortification which made the fight a joke. Anyway you don't have to give me any more recommendations since for my next playthrough I'll probably run a different build

Help with first time build

I'm trying to do a euphoria build and getting the best out of it has been fun to try and optimize. After a get a second I want to switch to a jump attack build. I know the euphoria isn't the best, and I don't even really like the skill, I just love the shinny blade. Anyway, the build is as follows.

Rakshasa Armour set 1.02^4

Golden vow 1.15

Holy tear 1.2

Blood sucking tear 1.2

2 hand 1.15

Holy Scorpion 1.12

Sword of light 1.2

= 277% damage increase

W/ charge attack tailsiman

= 304% damage increase

(Do they stack like this?)

Now I'm not really sure for talismans apart from 2 hand and scorpion. Don't know if I should do axe or jump or charge or running attack talisman. Then looking at malicent prothesis and such, the stacks draining every 1.5 seconds seams so fast. Is it even likely to carry over between openings? If I can only get 6 hits in for a 6% boost before I have to start dodging. Is the 6% on my last 3 is it worth it? Vs one charged attack with always having a 10% (with rotten wing). And lastly, I'm choosing light over howl because even though howl gives you a 5 or ~12%(after multiplicitive scaling if I'm right about that) the massive incase in damage to myself just doesn't seem worth it. Please let me know any ideas or if I'm off base on anything.

After I get two euphoria I want to dual wield purely because I think it's hella drip. And build is as follows

Armour set 1.02^3

Jump attack armor 1.1

Golden vow 1.15

Holy tear 1.2

Blood sucking tear 1.2

Scorpion 1.12

Jump attack tasilman 1.15

Sword of light 1.2

= 248%

With howl instead of light

= 359%

With howl and rotten

= 275%, 280%, 293%

Mostly same questions as above. Rotten seems better here as jump gives you more hits, but I could be wrong.

Lastly, the stats.

60 vig

20 dex

20 str

25 endurance

13 int (just to use discus of light)

72 faith

(150 if my math is correct)

I tried to work around soft caps here but have some questions. I've chosen to but 10 in dex and strength to get them to the soft cap, but even though I would be getting less if I went to 80 faith, would it be better for bosses after I buff? The 1 faith damage increase being scaled 200% with buffs vs the ~1.5 damage increase by putting it in strength? And is there some way to know how much to put into endurance so that I can jump attack twice and still roll after?

Now I don't really know how all this system works. But it was a lot of fun to think about and consult the graphs and different builds for ideas. Any help is majorly appreciated and thanks for taking the time to read nevertheless.

I am out of Ideas...

So, I am currently in NG+4, RL 311 and I have tried out so many builds that I dont know what I wanna do next. Also, in advance sorry for any spelling mistakes because english is not my first language. Here are all the Builds I have used so far:

Moonveil Mage (I have tried out every single interesting sorcery)

Double Slash Bloodflame Nagakiba (The classic)

Godskin Peeler with Black Flame Incantations + Black Knife

Knights Greatsword, Thunderbolt AoW and Dragon cult incants

Paladin Build (Claymore with Sacred Blade AoW and Haligtree Greatcrest Shield)

Cross-Naginata, Stormcaller AoW with Weapon Buff Incants

Erdsteal Dagger, Silurias Tree + Bestial and some Cruicible Incants

Nagakiba, Freezing Mist AoW + Ice Sorceries

Crescent Moon Axe, Flaming Strike AoW

Death Battle Mage: Helphen's Steeple + Death Sorceries

My next Builds will be:

Lightning Slash Nagakiba/Uchigatana + A Bow (not sure which one yet) and maybe like two incants because of too many available stat points

Godslayer Greatword + Godskin Peeler, no incants (A switch build between fast and heavy)

Golem's Halberd + Royal Knight's resolve

Not sure about these two but:

Bastard Stars + Wing of Astel Gravity Mage

Meteoric Ore Blade + Lions Greatbow, No Spells

Builds I am mostly against are:

The ones that use Bleed, Lion's claw, wild strikes, Blasphemous Blade, power stance, heavy thrusting swords and great spears

I know these are already plenty of builds but they are kinda missing something. I feel like they are not unique enough. I need something that I haven't used yet... Also, my Stats can be spread so I can level 3 damage Stats to 80. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)))

Which NG+ or “journeys” does the game become noticeably harder? Level 200

I do not plan on leveling up past 200
I am wanting to make an experience where the game is still hard even though I have end game gear. I got tired of making new characters

I was looking for the journey level for the best experience/ closest to first journey where I can use all of the things and leveled weapons I have and play as if i were not level 200 and have maxed everything. Chat gpt says it’s Journey 4 / NG+3
But I would like the community’s opinion
