Best talismans for faith builds??
Im doing a faith run and im wondering if theres a specific “OP” talisman?
Im doing a faith run and im wondering if theres a specific “OP” talisman?
Using blasphemous blade
Also should I restart cause my first playthrough is all the way to fire giant yet I searched everything up
Weapons:
- Cold Milday +25 with chilling mist. I didn't use wing stance because I don't want my build to be too derivative
- Albinauric Bow +25 (not really important, primarily just to shoot down those teleporting scarabs)
- Carian Glintblade staff +25
- finger seal +25
Armour (exclusively for aesthetics):
- Confessor hood
- Night's Calvary armour
- Preceptor gloves
- Sanguine noble waistcloth
Talismans:
- Dragoncrest Greatshield
- magic scorpion charm
- rotten winged sword insignia (no I will not get Millicent's prosthesis. Besides, at this level +5 Dex is marginal anyways)
- Axe talisman (swapping between this and Graven-school talisman for different occasions)
Spells (I wanted all my offensive spells to be cold sorceries just to fit the frost aesthetic):
— For offensive —
- Zamor's ice storm
- Adula's Moonblade
- flintstone icecrag
- freezing mist (added just for fun tbh)
— for buffs and support —
- Golden vow and flame grant me strength
- flame cleanse me and flame protect me
- Lucidity
Physick:
- magic damage buff tear and successive attack tear (forgot their names lol)
This is an ng+ rl 180 build btw. I'm planning on using this build for DLC (SB10) and ng++ (I honestly don't plan on leveling up any further than this). Is this build good enough, or are there rooms for improvement?
As the title says: Are the CGS's "chop" R2 any good? I've been meaning to use the Omen Cleaver as it's, in my opinion, incredibly stylish, but the R2 is a massive hindrance.
I thought, you know, maybe there IS a use for it.
Like, does it deal more poise damage? Does it GIVE you more Poise during it? Higher status build up maybe? Or is it just objectively inferior?
I'm looking for a challenge build around level 80-150 that is reasonable hard but not impossible. Maybe like the worst weapon, or shield only, etc.
I finished an RL1 (base game only no dragons or malenia) but took some time (no summons)
I'm thinking something like the worse weapon in the game (but with some stats) and possibly rl150
For my next play through, I’m interested in trying a faith arcane build, but I’ve never really dealt with arcane before. Any build suggestions, weapon suggestions, incantations suggestions? I could use some guidance
I am faith/ dex right now, I am about done w mountaintop of the giants and I keep getting all these dope looking weapons and ashes that are more bleed oriented. few questions- I only use scythes and swords w blood loss, is that the same as bleed? so if I want to infuse my great sword (don't remember name, but it does 55 blood loss) with an arcane infusion in order to increase blood loss, i have to have more stat points in arcane in order to get better damage w scaling, is it worth it to take most my stats from str and dex and put into arcane? I do about 800 damage on my first hit w halo scythe, and I have no reference aside from my own other weapons to say that's a lot. I just got blasphemous blade to +9, but my scythe is still stronger. I guess I'm asking if I take my stats and get 50 in arcane, is it common to do a chain that's 800, 1200, 2000 ect? I really rely on that blood loss but I've never had more than 55 blood loss damage, does it take it to a whole new level when you have 90?
This is my flame knight type build, it seems pretty good so far but I feel like it could be better, especially with radagon icon, this is ng+7 so I rely quite a bit on the black blade, ghost flame and lightning to deal damage
I am currently doing a seamless co-op playthrough, and I am looking for the larpiest weapon/build I can run.
I'm looking for a mix of terrible/fun. Potentially bow's, but there needs to be some aspect of enjoyment thrown in there. Not against using summons if they fit the agenda. Maybe something like the peashooter, or a summon with like 50 npcs that I can spam buff.
We are going to be fighting PCR at 400% HP, so something that would compliment that boss fight.
Thoughts and suggestions?
I’ve never used the Golden Order Seal or incantations much, not the Sword of Night and Flame, so I wanted to give them a shot. Problem is, idk how to build them from the ground up.
So…what should I do? Should I have faith and int be roughly equal? Or is it better to have one be the priority and the other be a secondary? What’s the best starting class? Any good early weapons until I have the stats to use the sword?
Thanks in advance! Any and all help is appreciated.
As far as I’m aware, these are the buffs and equipment that gives stamina regen:
- Two headed turtle talisman
- Braggart’s roar AoW (double the effect if you dual wield weapons)
- Great turtle shield
- Greenburst crystal tear
Is there anything else that I am missing that can further increase my stamina regen? I’m aware that there are buffs like body or aura types where some do not stack with each other.
This is the cosplay build I actually used to beat the game for the first time, not going to suggest hard numbers, more just the general idea I went for since it's been a while since that first run:
Primary attributes: dex/faith
Primary weapons: Sword of Night, Godslayer Greatsword, Hand of Malenia, Godslayer Seal, Black Knife, Maliketh's Black Blade (although I also experimented with some somewhat "off-theme choices for variety's sake, like Godskin Peeler, Euphoria, Wing Stance Milady, Backhand Blades, and the DLC h2h arts)
Primary incantations: black flame/black blade, the rest should be cool, flashy ones for proper aura farming like land of shadow, elden stars, or messmer's orb, probably some lightning ones, maybe howl of shabriri to fit the "roaring" bit
Primary Talismans: Flock's Canvas, shard of Alexander, Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, dealer's choice on the fourth, never really locked down a solid pick for that slot
Recommended armor: shining horned headband + Armor of Night for maximum cosplay fashion (if you want armors that are more practical while still somewhat fitting to the theme, I'd suggest Night's Cavalry, or Armor of Solitude, although always keep the shining horned headband)
Guide I used to make a "blank" face character: https://youtu.be/2OzoMAZpx6o?si=cL16Srouv5PQ-h3s
Hello everyone, here is what I currently use:
Golden Greatshield
Heavy Claymore (Lion's Claw AoW)
I need help cuz the claymore doesn't have enough poking range at times and doesnt stagger as much as I had hoped. I really like the weapon but I hope for something more stagger and long reach focused while still usable with my shield
I have heard of the Zweihander, but I have heard that it falls of late game. The Greatsword (guts sword) is something too however it doesnt have much reach and isn't a poking charged R2 like the claymore/Zweihander
I also looked at the Fire Knight's Greatsword but its DLC and I don't have dlc (but it looks amazing tbf)
So what do y'all recommend? I am currently in Liurnia but can definitely venture to Altus Plateau or some other area, wherever yhe best stance breaking/long reach weapon may be (that's viable with my shield and guard counters)
Thanks all
Only options for dagger builds I heard about were erdsteel flame build and any kind of status, but can I make anything at least somehow proper without it? Maybe misericorde with sword insignias? Or heavy+thrust talis for R2 attacks? Or maybe some AoWs can be at least somehow usable? Ofc backstabs and parries are included (I’m bad at parrying so I’d say mostly backstabs are included), but that’s not whole fighting style and is rather one single tactic against some enemies
Would the greataxe weapon be a good option for a guard counter build and if not what are some good weapons?
Damaris, Harrow of the Formless Mother
Small among bloodfiends, he became their mouthpiece and their memory. Learning every rite but eventually over time he saw the limits of their ritual. The old offerings were too few, too local, too cautious.
He doesn’t hunt for sport, every kill is an offering to the Formless Mother. He doesn’t bow or wave. every slain Tarnished brings the Age of Blood one breath closer.
Commoner headband (altered
Sage robe
Omen gauntlets
Omen greaves
Gonna be using either -
Bloodfiend blood arm w/bloodhound step, braggarts roar and trolls roar.
And sometimes
Dual heavy Bloodfiend fork with braggart roar and blood tax.
Hope to see you :)
Hey all, I'm practically a noob when it comes to the intricate things of Elden Ring. However, I have a build idea that I really want to try out. I don't care much about super min-maxxing things but I do want to know how to make it as viable as possible for what it is.
I'd wanna make a build with 2 sets of claws, one being able to proc fire and the other frost (wow so original ik). I was doing my best with reading and I came up with having 1 hook claw that can proc frostbite (idk if i should use frozen armament, cold infusion, or hoarfrost stomp aow) and then another claw to apply the fire to reset the frost.
I want it to be specifically 2 sets of claws mainly for flavor. I like the idea of being able to proc only frost, only fire, or both. I'm also open to having mainly frost claws with a second weapon altogether to use that's fire.
Thank you!
I’m jumping back in after almost a year and a half. Wanted some ideas from experts
I’ve got like 2000 hours on the game and by far the most fun build I used was Int/Faith with lava & death sorceries
I used sword of night & flame and also the Rellana twin light greatswords
I can’t explain to you how much fun this was, 10/10
Hello! I’m completely brand new to posting on Reddit (even though I’ve had this account for awhile) so please forgive me if I don’t know Redditiquette(?)
So as the title states, I need help making a nun build, but I don’t know how to go about it 🙇♀️ I’m just now getting to doing other builds besides Bleed and I need help trying to start
Currently, the weapons that I think I should be using are: Halo Scythe, Golden Order Seal/Erdtree Seal— And I want to strive to get Light of Miquella as one of my incantations. The armor set that I’m thinking of using is Fia’s, because it gives that Nun silhouettes!
I’d appreciate any advice and help!
