Found my old Italian copies after 25+ years: where do I pick up from here?

Hello everyone, Italian fan here!

Elfquest is pretty much unknown here in Italy, but it has always been one of the comics most dear to me. It was published here starting in 1997: the first issues were in black and white, and after a while they switched to color. Unfortunately, the series was a flop here, and when the publisher went bankrupt in 2000, no one stepped in to keep it going.

Some time ago, while digging through the last boxes after moving, I found my old copies, which had been sitting there for about 25 years. I’ve started rereading them, and it’s brought back a flood of memories. Some of those scenes still give me goosebumps now, just like they did back then.

Once I’m done with the issues I have, I’d love to continue the story from where the Italian edition left off, which should be around the end of "Hidden Years". I’ve been looking a bit at the collected editions available today, but I’m confused about what covers what, how they overlap, and which book I should pick up next.

Can anyone give me a simple breakdown? Thanks!

What's your favorite elfquest relationship

I'm in the middle of Kings of the Broken Wheel, but I'm curious what's your favorite ElfQuest relationship or ship? Spoilers are fine.

So far, mine are Cutter/Leetah, Cutter/Leetah/Skywise, Nightfall/Redlance, and Strongbow/Moonshade. I love all the in-between relationships too. The way elves express love so freely is one of the main reasons I love ElfQuest. It makes shipping fun you can put almost anyone together and it kinda works, especially poly ships.

I know some communities hate shipping, but with a story like this, how does the ElfQuest community feel about it?

Hello everyone, I’m not really part of the fandom, but I’m trying to locate an unaltered version of this specific fan art for the ElfQuest and hoped someone here might recognize it. (Details in the comments)

Which version to read as a new reader

So in stores currently are the new HC color volumes and the older TPB black and white version. Is there a clear winner in terms of versions.

Looking for elfquest merchandise archive

Yesterday I checked out ElfQuest on a whim I usually read Marvel for X-Men, but wanted indie fantasy or animal characters. I picked up the first volume, loved it, then binged the original quest online in 7 hours. Now I’m hooked and want more.

A little disappointed by the lack of fan content (I’ve resorted to 2008 AMVs), but I’m glad the community and creators are still active. I’m 20, so I feel like I missed out on past merch and events. Any links to archives of old promos, posters, or anything ElfQuest-related would be amazing when looking on my own it was hard to find things like archives for elfquest.
