If Charlie had died fighting Adam, how would Emily react, and how would it affect her relationship with Sera?

Emily doesn't just know Charlie now, she agrees with Charlie's attempts to stop the Exterminations and redeem sinners. Charlie isn't just any sinner; she's someone who is actively trying to find another way.

But how would Emily feel if Charlie had died during the angels' attack?

Adam killing Charlie would almost certainly make Emily hate him, but it could also make her even angrier at Sera. Adam threatened Charlie in front of everyone, and Sera not only didn't stop him but also allowed him to carry out that threat.

In this scenario, would Emily have a harder time forgiving her sister? Would Sera try to justify what happened? Would Emily's reaction affect the plot in any significant way?
