Did some minor kitbashing and wanted to see if this son would mesh well with a chapter in the veil?

Hey, I know it's a little more sky-blue than Azure but reading the novel the tones of the Spears Blue shift like Nemetons rings in their description. Thought it best to ask the community before painting more. Appreciate the feedback. Cheers

I’ve started to take a liking to the Emperor’s Spears and their cousins the Celestial Lions so in honour of the Fourth War seeing the Emperor’s Spears and Celestial Lions fighting on Armageddon I wanted to do a version of my Tactical as a Emperor’s Spear and Celestial Lion

Clear SPOILERS from Spears of the Emperor

One of my favorite parts of the book is the conversation Anuradha has with with Nar Kezar one of the leaders of the Pure. For a chaos marine he seemed very normal and went on to explain everything that happened to his chapter until now, how they were wronged and betrayed. But that’s a huge asterisk because that’s from his perspective, a chaos warped brains perspective, and chaos loves to persuade people.

I really doubt the Celestial Lions of all people will be happy about committing Exterminatus on a populous they’ve spent years protecting in the star scorpions absence, instead of attempting to save it, especially after what they’ve been through with what happened on Khatter.

In the second book, I would like for there to be a flashback scene told from the imperial perfective of what actually went down when the star scorpions returned and the details of what happened on the planet. I want to know why the Spears fired the first shot. Because I believe it’s not all clean and cut as Nar Kezar said.

Thought I’d share my take on the emperors speakers from the Armageddon box set. Still need to finish off a few parts and get some decals on it, before basing my but it’s as good as done for now.

Also shout out to the guys who did the heraldry sheet, that’s been a major help when looking for ideas.

I’m trying to make a death mire task force, with steel legions(I will play them as warden of ultramar and trevyan as titus), raptors etc, I really like the result !
