Although I know it's highly unlikely, I was recently rewatching season 1 and had this idea. It would be really cool if all the creators return to their empires (As different characters with no memory of what happened) centuries after the destruction of the empires. They discover the ruins, attempt to restart civilisation and try to figure out what happened to destroy this place (But all their theories are extremely different to what we know actually happened).

every time i hear the hc that joel is immortal and he vows to find lizzie in all of her lives i tear up a little (i know it’s not technically empires related but i usually think of it as empires)
