New Forms for Growl in future plans?

Sorry if this question has been asked before, I was curious if anyone knew if had any plans to add other wereforms from lore or other games like wereboars or werecrocodiles. I understand this would be a different level of scope and would require new models, and I love Growl as it is anyway.

New playthrough build ideas

I know this has been posted quite a bit but I’m going to fire up a new playthrough for the first time in awhile and wanted to see if anyone had any unique build ideas they’ve enjoyed. I usually play with the ordinator type mods and gonna add in legacy of the Dragonborn to give myself a big endeavor to center the playthrough around.

I feel like I’ve done most playstyles over the years (other than stealth archer ironically) so looking for something fresh. I’m leaning towards a nightblade style high mobility spell sword type with the shadow mage spells but haven’t really settled on anything yet. I appreciate any ideas!

Contingency is amazing

[Just an appreciation post for a very interesting gimmick that I've slept on for ages]

I've played a lot as an Altmer in any kind of Vanilla or Race Mods playthroughs, mostly for the magic affinity and/or roleplay reasons.

But I've never actually fully understand the incredible potential of this Racial Ability in Imperious and how it makes Altmer really Swift as a race magic-wise.

I've played like 1 full playthrough (Battlemage + Auriel) and 1 mid-duration (Pure mage + Magnus/Atronach) as an Imperious-Altmer but I'm not a fan of the unlockable major/minor skills. So I didn't experiment much in the past and focused more on the base passive skills such as Elven Supremacy (+ Auriel Devotee Skill) and ShimmeringThreads.

I've also always believed in the supremacy of Bretons for being extremely versatile and ace of everything but really, now that I'm taking my time to experiment with this ability, I'm loving it so much.

No Magicka cost, no cast time, versatile and exchangeable conditions...

Pairs along with Ocato's various abilities (Preparation, Recital) and Magnus Devotee ability and it seems that excels the more spells Mods you add.

Unlock it seems a pain, catching 20 butterflies is not an easy task but it's also not impossible. You just have to know the right places.

Similar to [Stone of Galen] for the Breton, where i start the playthrough doing the pilgrimage of all the SStones before starting the real shish.

Now I'm really curious how Contingency works with different advanced Magic Perk Trees and higher level spells!

What about you guys? Do you know a gimmick that you used to sleep on but now you love it?

Gods and Mortals - Is Akatosh supposed to time stop you for minutes on end?

The level 90 perk from the Restoration tree. I've literally been in slowed time for at least 3 minutes now. Is there something I can do to, I don't know, end the effect early? I feel like it shouldn't be taking a minute+ per second of this 5 second effect...

EDIT: Okay, there's no way it's not glitched, because I swear I was in the time stop for a solid 10 minutes before I gave up entirely and reloaded. Maybe I'll have to pray to a different deity...

Entomb is such a funny and OP spell

It's like an evil Pokeball lol. I am getting an absurd amount of comedic value out of entombing General Falx Carius and popping him up wherever I want to clear out enemies, or just dropping him into town marketplaces to see what happens. He killed 8 people in Whiterun before the guards brought him down.

Race for Battlemage Build - Freyr / Mannaz / Audugan

Hey everyone,

I'm about to start a new character for a very long, completionist playthrough. The goal is to build a solid Battlemage focused heavily on Magicka and the Thu'um.

I'm currently torn between the two classic choices: Breton and Altmer.

For an endgame/long-term build, which one would you recommend and why? Thanks!

why does the ordinator sneak tree have basically nothing for archery

like i get that sneak archer is op and basically a meme build but like it’s still a build so should atleast have something i think, the other perk trees have support for like multiple different builds while it feels like the sneak one is basically only for stealth + one handed

also there should be one in either the sneak or alchemy perk where poisons applied by a sneak attack or while undetected by the person are more effective, not much support for like a sneak poison build (whether it’s melee or archery)

Fortify Heavy Armor Enchant not Working Properly

My 23% Fortify Heavy Armor enchant only gives 6 additional armor to my chest armor. This is despite the base armor being 41% and the actual value being 150+. I do not have anything overwriting the specific magic effect that adds the additional armor to heavy.

Dragon Priest idea need Help

Warning:My english sucks

Started playing skyrim on ps5 again after a few years off of it when back then mods were super limited.

Anyway my latest build im gonna make is basicly a nord dragon priest with staves (enchanting) Flames(Destruction) Speech (Ordinator shout perks) and Thunderchild shouts.

Now im also using Konahrk's Accountrements. Soo i know by default i cant use a robe mage armor build...but now im indecisive between heavy and light armor.

(I have a mod installed to skip smithing grinding due to the Dragon priest robes needing that stuff as well).

But yea i just wanna know whats best for this build idea...light armor or heavy armor? Edit:Im using wintersun as well for the old ways religion

Displaying a notification message for the Game of Fate perk whenever you enter a cell with one of the Containers of Fate

Would it be possible to implement a notification message that alerted the player whenever they loaded an area with one of the Containers of Fate? Finding even one of them, let alone all five, can be daunting if you have a few mods with new areas installed. I don’t think map markers would be a very good idea, but a notification feels like it would just enough to nudge the player to be on their guard whenever they got close to one.

There is an excellent mod that does something similar for the Stones of Barenziah: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/140382

The mage stone for high elf could use a buff in freyr and other adjustments high elfs could use

You're a magical race who's destiny is shaped by magic through the power of the mage stone, I feel that the magicka bonus shouldnt activate only upon the usage of inborn magic.

In my opinion, the bonus should be a passive +50 or maybe +70 bonus, so there will be a point in using the mage stone as high elf.

Another issue with high elves is the shimmering ability. Now, I dont know how would this work, maybe a specific compatibility patch is needed, but with artifact overhauls alot of the artifacts arent buffed, and this makes the biggest passive ability that you get as a high elf weak, because it only applies to regular enchantments.

I think an artifact overhaul thats compatible could be the solution to this, but yeah.

Spell request - see stats of dead people

As in a spell that lets you see health, magicka and stamina (perhaps their level in onehanded, twohanded, archery and destruction as well ?) of an NPC you just killed.

Mostly useful for necromancers to see if a dead body is better than the one you currently have reanimated.

(I know there was a spell like this for Oldrim, but can't find one for SE.)

Futhark update in 1.5 weeks; any requests?

Confirmed so far:

Mannaz

  • Update AMS synergies (Shamanic Trance/Dream Journey) to work with Audugan
  • Ancestral Protector being 1/day is annoying
  • Warstomp clumsy to use and weakened by delay
  • Warstomp potentially underpowered beyond that
  • Unlimited Rage cheese
  • Shehai x porn mods
  • Harrier visual noise

Freyr

  • Dead Noon needs to scale
  • Roadside Rest underpowered
  • Imperial basic stones underpowered
  • Bulging Pockets too situational
  • Purr outside race pie/Khajiit pie much stronger in Audugan than in Freyr
  • Coyote/Ibex/Black Obelisk underpowered
  • People have opinions about Jinniya of the Lamp

Audugan

  • AMS refund conditions are misaligned
  • Unconquered and Aurora Storm overlap
  • City of Bronze too strong
  • Distant Oasis too strong

Loadorder

Doing my first playtrhough with more than one or two mods and wondering if there's a aspect fiction load order I need to use for these or additional mods I need for them to work. The ones I plan on using are Imperious, Vokrii, Triumvirate, Apocolypse, and Freyr.
