Why does it print so stringy? I already had to swap the bed with one from my ender 3 for it to actually stick but now this lol It looks modified compared to my ender 3.

So about a month ago my dad gave me his ender 3 pro printer (he upgraded to a resin printer). I wanted to come on here as i have NEVER touched anything 3d print related and wanted to see if there any knowledge i can learn from anyone about this printer.
I wanted to start simple in terms of prints. I play magic the gather so i was thinking some deck boxes would be a nice place to start. But i really have no idea what to do or even where to begin.
So what should i do, and were should i begin learning about this process? The last thing i want to do is just have the thing sit in my closet and collect dust becuase i never learned how to use it. He gave me alot of things with the printer, so im i think im pretty much ready to start going. Or at least i think i am lol.

Hi all! I was just gifted an Ender 3 Pro via donation, this is my first 3D printer, from what I understand it’s a bit of an older model and sort of outdated compared to what’s on the market now, any tips for usage? :)
I am using cura on standard quality. What should I change? Everything is fine except I need to change the retraction and the letters Don’t turn out good.
I received a ender 3 pro from my dad when he upgraded printers. he put a 4.2.7 creality board on it with dual z axis, direct drive extruder, and a bltouch. i just reset the firm ware but the bltouch is still way off im pretty sure the z endstop is unpluged but is it always too high i always have to adjust the z probe offset around -2.600.
I did a print in PLA, and it had some heat creep, since I was still using the stock fan duct at 120mm/s (klipper), so the filament got stuck and heating the hotend to 215ºC makes no difference as it's stuck inside the heat break.
There is also no filament sticking out from the top or bottom.
Ender 3 Pro I recently got an Ender 3 and managed to print one or two things, but most of the time the filament ends up tangling or failing to stick to the bed. If you could help with some tips—right now, my only solution is turning it off—I’d appreciate it; I can also send videos or photos if you'd like.
I recently got a used Ender 3 pro.
Specs - 4.2.2 board, micro Swiss direct drive, pei textured plate
Shortly after I got the printer I added a cr touch and silicone spacers under the bed.
One of my issues is the nozzle will push out a little filament whenever the nozzle is hot.
I’ve been looking into a few upgrades… a sprite pro direct drive (hoping that will help with my leaking filament) and the cooling fans are clipping their housings. The other is I’m looking into a 4.2.7 or BTT skr mini e3 v3… but nervous about the approach to third party firmware. I do have a raspberry pi so klipper is an option but I don’t feel ready for that approach.
Any thoughts or recommendations on where I am at/ what path I should take for my upgrades?
My ender 3 pro plate is loose as hell, not even eccentric can compensate, was working perfectly fine until i saw it was a bit loose, so i adjusted the eccentric and it got even looser, can't get it as tight as it was. Also tried removing direct drive bracket, along with readjusting wheels.
I just purchased a Bigtreetech e3v3 with tft 35 screen and bigtreetech pi v1.2. I tried to understand all different videos on YouTube but get completely lost on how to do the whole setup to install it on my Ender 3 pro. I know I’ve read all the negative feedback on this printer but it’s my first one that paid $20 for. Any help please on how to install the firmware and being able to run clipper on it.
