Hey everyone, can y'all help me figure out why this is happening? I have changed my Y stepper motor, tightened my Y axis belt, made sure that the wheels on the Y axis don't have any chips or cracks. I've even changed out the stopper switch on the Y axis and I cannot figure out why these drastic and varying layer shifts are occurring. I have an Ender 3 Pro with klipper on a raspberry pi4.

I’m starting to get acceptable results using my ender 3 pro.
Actually, this is the best result I ever had and it was my first sprint with Orca slicer with the ender 3 pro preset.
Before I ever printed anything “big” I made sure to have a leveled bed.
I’m not for sure if this could be related to humidity as the filament has been open for a while and I live in a quiet wet place. The material settings used were Creality Generic PLA. The material used was eSUN pla.
Part shown in the video was printed lied down horizontally.
Any tips?

Ender-3 v2 having trouble getting it level
Not sure what happened here, but looks like a new printer is about to get ordered.
I’ve run this file a bunch on times before on these settings and I just replaced the hotend and when I did my lines look like this
I just recently purchased this off of Facebook. It came with all the required parts and honestly looked better than the original photos. As I started messing with it, I’ve noticed something very troubling about the printer that it auto homes just fine. I have leveled the bed four or five times so far trying to get it just perfect. But I started notice a problem. again it auto homes just fine. But whenever it wants to begin a print, it will raise off of the bed by about two or 3 mm Trace a border and then immediately start printing. all well being raised off the bed by two or 3 mm. I have changed every setting possible to force it down. I’ve even rewritten the code, to no avail. Any help would be absolutely amazing.
I installed the big tree tech mini skr e3 v3 in my CR-10 printer and I don’t know what to do about how to put fir and software on my 3d printer I have watched a couple of videos and I have no idea what to do and how to do it i’ve n had any experience with 3d printers and I really need help please someone help me I need help please thank you.
Is there traction settings in the slicer that's how you can fix it all you have to do is make it retract less
Hi everyone. I noticed that whenever i use a white PLA some areas of my print shows some kind of dirt sticks on it. I was curious what seems to be that thing. So i pry up the fan on the hot end and boom! Gunks of filament.
Any thoughts what caused this? Is it normal or how to prevent this to happen again? Im starting to learn on 3d printing btw.

Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone can help me get my dad's Ender 3 Pro working again. I installed Klipper/Mainsail to improve the printer, but I haven't been able to get a successful print since switching from the stock OS.
I'm comfortable following technical instructions, but I'm still learning Klipper and would really appreciate some guidance from someone experienced with Ender 3 + BLTouch setups.
Mainsail connects and Home All works successfully, but the nozzle/first layer isn't printing correctly onto the build plate.
During earlier troubleshooting, I accidentally crashed the nozzle into the plate, leaving a permanent dent. I'm not sure whether the nozzle was damaged or pushed upward, so I've been hesitant to keep experimenting and risk another crash.
I found my existing printer.cfg from February 6, 2026. One thing that immediately caught my attention is:

sensor_pin: ^PB1
control_pin: PB0
x_offset: -45
y_offset: -5
#z_offset: 0.0
And the saved configuration contains:
#*# [bltouch]
#*# z_offset = 0.0
There is also an existing 12x12 bed mesh.
Could someone look at my configuration and help me determine:
z_offset = 0.0 need to be calibrated?My main goal is simply to get my dad's printer working reliably again. I'm happy to do the troubleshooting myself; I just need some experienced guidance on what to do and in what order.

My printer started struggling to extrude and after researching I found out it was heat creep and I’m not sure how to fix it I couldn’t find any specific online and need help
My ender 3 started having connection problems. I was able to wiggle the screen cable and it worked again. Now the printer freezes the screen on loading and the buzzer screams. I have disconnected all the wires to the motherboard except for power and the screen, I still have the screen freezing and buzzer screams. Ant help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark
So I have what I believe is a ender 3 pro but I have a sprite extruder kit attached to it. I gave up on it over a year ago because I couldn't get it to print past the first couple layers without messing up. Today I got a wild hair and decided to get the dual z axis upgrade kit and the skr mini e3 v3.0. I read somewhere that the hot ends in the sprite extruder kits were shorted on the positive wire, and that you needed to swap the positive and negative wires going to the skr mini. Well I took my multimeter to my hot end and any metal surround it and I can't find any short anywhere. I do have the cr touch.
But I'm trying to cross my I's and dot my T's. I'm a noob, I did get a benchy to print nicely before I did the sprite extruder setup, and yes I did change the firmware after I put the sprite on before I started this skr mini swap.
