Finally it happened
After years of trying to figure out and gaslighting myself, also being gaslit by a specialist, I finally got MRI done 2 days ago and they found Endometriosis exactly the place where I predicted they would find. It feels extremely validating because this has taken a lot from my life. I had to postpone or cancel a lot of appointments with friends and other people. It has been a long ride but the MRI was so worth it! I am so glad that it was as easy as going to the nearest diagnostic centre near my house. They found an endometrial plaque of 4.6 x 32.5 x 8.7 mm and some more stuff too. I have sent the reports to endometriosis specialist. I will get the treatment very soon! My symptoms are unbearable even with Dienogest so we shall seek the final resort. I am feeling confident but also grieving the stuff I missed or the things I couldn’t do because of this disease. All the questions have been answered. I used to go to docs a lot as a teenager and young adult for digestive issues and turns out this was the actual culprit. My diagnosis happened coz I started having full blown symptoms with my menstrual cycle and also digestive issues despite eating clean and reasonable food. Finally!
Always believe in yourself and in your pain. It is never just in your head. Be aware and seek help. Always advocate for yourself.
