For me, it’s really the exception that proves the rule: I love every cheese I’ve ever tried, but I hate Emmentaler, especially when it has little holes and tricks you into being something else

I've been thinking about taking a break from the ranking series for a little bit.
I've been thinking of the series as a second job, instead of me doing a fun little thing in a game. Making me dread doing it, and putting it off for later, unlike early in the series when I did it more in the middle of the day and at earlier times other than 8:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
It's not like I hate the game, or I'm in a bad situation right now, I just want a break from the series specifically.
I might pop out posts every once in awhile, but I'm not going to consistently post for now.
I doubt I'll be gone for a super long while tho. 3 months max.
Why don't you post your favorite gun that I haven't ranked yet? I'll try to rank all of them (most definitely only off memory) and make a big post.

Is it wrong to not unlock useless stuff to make the RNG nicer ro me? This game is mean man. I played for years and never even saw the dragun so I made a new account recently to give this game another go and realized that just not buying new stuff except good things and refusing to free bad npcs like the health for cash guy makes the RNG so much better. Im hitting forge 3/5 games and seeing floor 4 boss every time and whether its coincidence or not, it makes this game so much more playable. I just wanna build the bullet dude and all I need is to beat the dragun, and unlocking table techs and bad guns/items is not gonna let me get there
Its not really important but since the map has a synergy with origuni, would you be able to get a map out of a synergy chest if you have origuni or is the map in a seperate loot pool to the chests.
Curious if this has happened to someone or if somebody knows anything about this
For those curious about the synergy:
360 Yes Scope - If the player also has Scope, spinning 360 degrees before firing grants a 3-second buff that makes the next shot deal 50% more damage.
That 1 second blender animation took me multiple hours to make. And the helldiver model was the closest I could find to the marine.
So, i just found an active item behind the statue at the start of the run, the "bullet that can kill the future", description says that if you hit an enemy with that bullet it will not spawn for the rest of the run, but so far i discovered that if you shoot yourself with it, it brings you to a secret floor with a Sans boss in it.
Has someone discovered other uses for this item?
First room of the first floor teleported me to the glitched chest floor, but there were also infinitely spawning jammed lords of the jammed.
After death, the game immediately crashed. Anyone else seen this?
Would it not be better to use them on the first floor chests? Or even if they are low quality save them for better chests on other floors.
I know about mod the gungeon, however from what i've read in one section in the EtG wiki, the software has been hacked and abandoned and is no longer safe to use
After playing this game since release I finally feel like I am in on the secret and I can actually say I’m an ok player🤣 By no means have I 100% the game yet but I now feel like it’s possible😅
I’m not young and I’ve tried to look up as little help as possible save from a couple of things I’ve seen accidentally drowsy scrolling on here but even then quick to back out once I realise what I’m reading so I feel somewhat proud yet late to the party all at once! Bullet hell here I come!!!!
In the past I was able to use the chest teleporter on a glitched chest all the way to bullet hell but I forgot to use it. It seems that the spawned chest from the teleporter keeps the glitch effect which begs the question what would have happened if you were to unlock the glitched chest in bullet hell as it is definitely possible? Would there be a second bullet hell after the glitched boss?
This gun has high knockback and short range. Very short range. Very hard knockback.
The guns damage and thyroid is absolutely incredible, but the knockback is so strong, that it's the only gun where I complain about the knockback. It's so annoying to use this, and I have to get close up and personal like this is a melee weapon.

Tbh the ammo isn't too bad, and so is the magazine. They just need a tiny boost in my opinion.

The synergies are all incredibly fun... but it would be better if this gun had some sort of synergy that either increased the range or reduce the knockback.

This was, THE QUICKEST -0 OF THIS SERIES! I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS GUN AND I ABSOLUTELY HOPE THIS STAYS FAR AWAY FROM ENTER THE GUNGEON TWO!
I was seriously debating whether to skip giving points and just give this the negative enjoyability ranking and that's it. I genuinely cannot see how anyone can have fun with this unless they absolutely love going close range.

This was my gunslinger unlock run which took me like an hour and 20 mins to get to. I unlocked him on switch before but this was a bummer. If I had to guess it’s probably because I had a lot of particle effects going off at the end of the run. No idea but thought it was worth sharing at least as a weird bug I’ve never seen before.
