Thoughts
After 260+ playthroughs, I've defeated the dragon, defeated all the characters pasts and reached the Lich several times (but haven't managed to kill him). However, I no longer enjoy the game. Don't get me wrong, the game itself is good, but I wasn't playing for the right reasons. I was constantly chasing after things like defeating the dragon, unlocking the robot, and so on. However, it wasn't enjoyable, it was just a list of tasks to complete. If I don't get good loot or take damage from a random enemy or boss, I just press Alt+F4. If I don't do something perfectly, I get frustrated, and if I do it "almost perfectly," I don't feel satisfied because I've just completed a task, a rather useless task.
I know that the problem lies with me, so I leave the game. I hope you're playing for the right reasons. Farewell.
My wife and I have been playing this bi-weekly for years. We've probably found every possible bug, so I hope they're still planning to include it in this one. Also, I'm assuming the angled camera in the trailer is for cinematic effect? Really couldn't make sense of it.. I'm assuming the angled cam is the reason why bullets appear to pass over the player.
Anyway, I hope they're paying attention to co-op, since it feels sort of tacked on to the first one. It's functional, but it can be broken in so many ways that will end your run. If you open the map and teleport on the same frame, you'll lose control of the player who opened the map, and it will be stuck in slow motion permanently. Other than the bugs, ETG is the perfect game for us, so I hope they don't try to overdo it with visual flair.
This gun shoots small beams of light, and after emptying out a magazine, shoots the tip of the crystal, and splitting the five smaller crystals if it hits a wall.
The damage is decent on his gun, and doesn't have anything to complain about
+7
The ammo goes down kind of fast, but the magazine size is pretty good, and almost fully counteracts the bad ammo capacity
-1
Sound is kind of annoying, and had to turn my TV down, and even the in-game settings.
-.5
Synergies makes this gun a beast, and Incredibly fun to use.
+3.
I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking of 8.5
Do you think differently? Tell me why.
I know this one came kind of early, but the local weather delayed my other plans, so I decided just to do this real quick before the weather cleared up
Is it even possible not to win the game at that point?
I don't use sprun/windgunner very often, but I decided to go with it this time.
I exploited the RR bug to keep the windgunner active after I got it on the 3rd floor
Damn shame I couldn't find more bullet passives, but platinum bullets and blank bullets work very well together.
Mine are definitely question marks of death, oubliette sting and the main theme song
I also have Flak bullets!
Hey all, new to gungeon. In the 2nd chamber, i found map and found this area that doesnt seems like a secret room because it's so spacious, got any idea what it is and if it's a secret area is there any special contraption to unlock it like the secret room to oubliette? thank you
This gun can either fire weak bullets at a fast pace by just clicking trigger, or launch High damaging Bullets by holding trigger. (I just charged it the entire time, because who tf doesn't charge while using the Base gun)
Really good damage, but becomes mediocre on the higher floor. The charge speed is kind of slow though.
+2
The ammo capacity is perfect, and can last two whole Chambers (at least the first two) before running out of it. The magazine is also pretty good.
+5
The synergies aren't too interesting in my opinion, and I might even say it becomes tad bit boring with the chief master Synergy, which is only activated when you have two Master rounds of any two floors. (it's also disappointing that this gun gets a Synergy with the master rounds)
-.5
I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking of 6.5/10

Here is the reminder I mentioned a a couple days ago.
My rankings are about enjoyability, not about how a good the gun is compared to the best gun. It's literally how much I like using it. I do mention the damage and other stuff, but it's kind of hard to rank a gun about how fun it is to use with just its design and gimmicks.
The next random reminder will come later in a week or two.
