Hi - I just installed the GPX7A head unit in my 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with manual transmission, using the plug and play harness. Everything works except it doesn't recognize when I shift the jeep in to reverse. The camera does work and has power - was able to verify that, but the head unit never senses the transmission is in reverse. This jeep did not come with a factory camera. Do I need to connect the red trigger wire off the camera harness to the "+12V for backup camera" red wire, or something else? Thanks!

I installed the android auto apple carplay head unit into my 2012 honda accord last summer. It’s been working great with no issues, but today I ran a small errand (about 10 mins) and came back to my car and the screen would not turn on. I figured it was some sort of launch error so I turned my car off and on and it still didn’t work. I have since been busy all day at school, but even when I came back to it it’s still not working. There are no sorts of indicators it’s getting power. No lights will turn on, it won’t show any logos or make any sound, and my steering wheel binds aren’t working or making noise. I’m not sure what would have caused this, as it was working just fine earlier today up until it wasn’t. I took it off and roughly verified everything was connected and sure enough it is. I’m reaching out to see if anyone else has experienced this issue and if there are any troubleshooting options I could try that you know of. Thanks!
