BUG: Endeavor playing last session's workout regardless of what is selected

Reproducibility: consistent. Regardless of what workout is selected, the game plays through the first Endeavor workout that was selected after a hard system reboot.

Steps:

  • Unplug system, then re-plug and reboot.

  • Select a workout (A)

  • Either complete or quit workout

  • Attempt to start a new Endeavor workout (B)

  • Regardless of what is selected for B, the system will load A

Recalibration Updates

We’ve made updates to our automatic recalibration system! You can expect a more seamless experience with better adjustments to your evolving fitness level and fewer interruptions to your workouts. Here are the highlights:

More Accurate Intensity Zones
We’ve optimized the logic behind recalibration, so your Intensity Zones will better reflect your real fitness improvements over time.

Echo Workouts Included
Echo workouts, previously excluded, are now included in the recalibration progress.

The Process is Now Behind the Scenes
You’ll no longer see a “Recalibration in Progress” screen while working out. Recalibrations will now happen automatically in the background, and when one occurs, we’ll still let you know and celebrate your progress.

As a reminder, these experiences count towards your recalibration progress:

Echo (NEW)
Races
Meteor
Wavelength
Pulse

You can also control whether a particular workout counts toward your recalibration by using the toggle in the top-right corner of the workout setup screen.

Crossed the 8 million metre mark yesterday! Started January 2022.

When I started rowing, I never thought this would be possible. Ergatta has been without a doubt, the best investment in my health I’ve ever made. As a woman heading into her 60’s with arthritic knees, the older I get, the more grateful I am. Thank you Ergatta ❤️❤️❤️!!

Trying to lose weight.

I’ve been a consistent rower thanks to my Ergatta for several years now. I’ve often wondered how someone rowing 6 to 9 km a day can still be carrying extra weight. I wasn’t counting calories, but eating healthy …I’ve recently realized that I’ve been rowing mostly in Zones 3 to 5, missing the fat burning Zone 2.

Now, I’m not focusing on watts or distance, but keeping my heart rate under my Zone 2 max. As a comparison, I seem to give up about 1,000 meters compared to what I would usually do for this same workout. I still want to do 2 cardio workouts a week to keep my heart strong.

I’m also using this strategy at the gym … working out to stay and maintain 30 to 40 minutes in Zone 2 while lifting, easing up on weight and doing more reps as necessary. I’ve also tightened up on nutrition.

We’ll see how the next few months shake out.
