Hey yall,

After a few years, I've decided it's time to sell my Erhu. I haven't been playing it as much as I used to, and I'm trying to free up some space, so I'd rather it go to someone who will enjoy and use it.

Erhu
Method book
Extra strings
New bow

If anyone here is interested i'm selling it via eBay I'm not very sure if links will be a problem on here I know people can be cautious about them which is totally fair, so if you're interested, send me a DM and I'll share the listing with you.

I want an Erhu, but they are hard to obtain. I am a beginner and unsure of how long I will actually play. With that said, is this at least okay to get? I know I shouldn’t trust Amazon but hey, I want to try a cheap one. Alternatively, I can buy a local Tro Sau for $70 cad, I know they are different, but similar enough. Thanks

Hi everyone, I’m sharing a short test-play video of the Huqiu 5118 red sandalwood erhu.

I find this model offers very good value for the price range—especially in terms of responsiveness and overall balance. It’s relatively easy to get a clear tone, and it feels stable enough for daily practice while still giving enough room to grow technically.

This is just a simple demonstration recorded during practice, not a professional performance. I’d be happy to hear any feedback on tone, bowing, or setup.
