Please Help

Hello fellow Evanescia enjoyers. This is my Evanescia build rn and I can't clear Moc Floor 12 at all. Can somebody please explain to me what she is lacking?
P.s. was thinking about getting the battlepass Lc if it is worth it just to fix the cr issue

SRobin Atk or CDmg Buff?

Just curious if I wanted to maybe use Robin Summeretto with Nessie is it worth trying to raise Robin’s attack to have her buff Nessie’s crit damage instead of a bunch of attack?

Teambuilding with Multiple Elation Comps.

Hi everyone, I'm making this post to discuss some decisionmaking (and some woes) for people in this sub like me, who ended up acquiring both 4.2 Elation MDPSes in Eva and SW, and would ideally want to have both available as team compositions for starward endgame content.

Obivously this dosen't apply to everyone, and to be frank, until more dedicated elation supports are released, it is objectively wrong to do so (curse you Yao Guang, lol). Even so, I do believe with the upcoming releases of RobinS (or not, for MBlade havers) and Pearl this becomes an actual possibility.

Reasoning: Pearl will finally give a new sustain option for both teams, making HuoHuo the secondary (and weaker option, assuming Pearl becomes BiS for both eva and sw). RobinS, while not fully ideal for Eva due to atk shenanigans, can still serve the same function other characters like Sparkle/MBlade do in current non-full elation hypercarry comps for Eva, as well as having very strong interactions with Yao Guang ult spam if used with SW teams in the place of sparxie.

I think overall the final team compositions will change from player to player based on investment level for each MDps. In my case, who overinvested into e2 sw and only has e0s1 eva, I'd be looking to strengthen up Eva with the more dedicated supports while SW can still 0cycle/low cycle clear most pushed content.

My current plans are as (pending a Pearl kit) follows:

E0S1 Eva/E6 EMC/RobinS/Pearl

E2S1 SW/E0S0 Sparxie/E0S1 Yao/E0 Huo

I intend on trying out swapping EMC/Yao around in case Eva still struggles a bit, allowing eva to use the robinS/yao interactions and yao's buffs while relying more on my higher SW investment.

For others in the same boat as me, what are you planning on doing? Even right now I still see some issues with it: I fully expect HuoHuo to be more valuable in Eva comps for duo Elation comps, not because Pearl will be bad for Eva, but because Huo's ult is inherently more valuable the more energy-based characters are in a team. I only plan on using Pearl with Eva due to having less investment in her team and needing the extra push.

Anyways, I'm curious to see what other people in the same situation are planning!

Got a 0 cycle with e1s1 Evanescia/E0S1 YG against PomPom

E1S1 Evanescia/E0S1 YG/E0S0 Sparxie/E4 Welt

First off, eff Mihoyo for being bitter about Evanescia and having physical resistant enemies on wave 1. Maybe you should focus on enticing players to pull SW999 though her story instead of blackmailing us to pull her.

2nd of all, I had to punt on EMC for my Sparxie I pulled in 4.0 before we knew the elation meta fully. Sparxie damage was needed for me to avoid using Eva ult as much as possible. The hit rng needs to avoid Sparxie for her to live the whole battle. I used HP boots on Evanescia to help her live.

Yg was 190 speed with Vonwacq, Welt was 167 windset, Sparxie 138 speed and Eva was only 121. Got the 0 cycle with the last aha instant giving my Evanescia one final ult to kill PomPom. Took a lot of resets though.

Here's how to beat Pom-Pom if you don't have Yao Guang

I've seen some posts asking for tips against this boss and I'm not surprised, they aren't really an Elation shill on the same caliber or Pollux/Remembrance, you still need to play correctly to get a decent score.

To preface things, this team is E2S1 Evanescia, E6S5 EMC, E4 Bronya w/ S5 Poised to Bloom and E1 Huohuo w/ S5 Quid Pro Quo, so a limited cost of 6 is what we're working with here.

Depending on your investments you may want to try different strategies and obviously Sunday works better than Bronya, specially with his S1, but I don't have him.

The idea of this fight is to take as many Evanescia turns as possible to charge the ally Pommy, dispelling Pom-Poms enhanced state and dealing true damage in the process. Pommy needs 20 PL to charge and between your ultimates and Evanescia turns, they should attack pretty often.

Skill point economy in this team is very right because everyone wants to skills, so priorities are as follow: Evanescia/Bronya > Huohuo > EMC. If EMC can get an ultimate with Skill, you can choose to do so because you'll recover SP anyway.

It's imperative that you don't waste Evanescia ultimates on Pom-Pom while they're enhanced, way to dispel their damage reduction and then use your ultimates, even if you overcap on energy (E2 users may experience this).

It's also better to cast your ultimate if Pom-Pom is alone because you'll funnel more damage onto them. Killing the adds isn't as important because they refund little PL and are mostly a nuisance.

Another trick you can do is waiting to cast an ally ultimate between enemy attacks, to keep your team healthy with Huohuo. I used this many times, specially during the first wave.

Speaking of the first wave, the High Phys Res elite is tough but not immune to physical. I've seen people so afraid of them that they refused to bring Eva to this fight, even if she's one of the better options against Pom-Pom.

Speed tuning is pretty basic. Evanescia is +1 Speed above Bronya and EMC/Huohuo are as fast as possible.

"Shouldn't Evanescia hold as many CBs as possible?" yes, ideally. But in this fight, acting more often is usually better because the damage windows are tight so you need to have your ultimates ready often, plus you'll have very little CBs because we lack Yao Guang here.

My Yao is E2 so this fight was a 0 cycle naturally, but going from 0 cycles to 4 cycles after losing 4 cost (Yao is E2S1), is pretty good in my opinion. Still under the 5 cycle minimum and just enough for Stalwart.

If somehow your Evanescia is E0S0 and you also lack Yao then yeah... you might want to bench Evanescia for this one. She might be better against Dark Sam.

Help me understand something...

If elation's main stat is Speed, and evanescia's the one who doesnt really care about it and even does NOT want it due to losing stacks, wont SW999 just be better when we get a full Elation team?

Any reason to reroll beyond stupidity

Wondering if its worth trying to reroll anything that will get me to 300cd without it totally not being worth it. thoughts? yao has s1 btw

What do I need more of?

YG has escaped my grasp twice and relics are trolling me. Energy Rope with double crit rolled all upgrades into Break Effort and then on reroll in rolled 1 each into CD/CR and the rest into HP% and BE. Almost all rolls have been like this resulting in this after a LOT of farming.

I have Def boots with CD, should I try upping those and replacing my Atk Boots if I get more CD on them? Is there something else I should look at?

Can somebody explain to me the Elation damage Crit conversion thing?

Visited this sub recently and came across a message about how Evanescia doesn't want Sunday because of how converted Crit Damage buffs cannot be re-converted.
The question I have about this, is that Evanescia doesn't have anything in her kit that suggests she has crit damage conversion in her kit.
Additionally, from what I can tell while reading the damage formulas for elation damage, Elation damage doesn't seem to convert CD when calculating final damage at all. It simply handles critical hits normally, like any other kind of damage that can Critically Hit.

Can somebody explain to me this disparity?
