25+ Executive MBA & Working Professional MBA Programs in India 2026-27

We have covered every major Executive MBA/Working Professional MBA program in India.

It covers 25+ programs from:

  • ISB
  • IIM Ahmedabad
  • IIM Bangalore
  • SDA Bocconi
  • IIM Kozhikode
  • IIM Lucknow
  • IIM Indore
  • IIM Mumbai
  • IIM Udaipur
  • IIM Shillong
  • IIM Sambalpur
  • IIM Nagpur
  • IIM Ranchi
  • IIM Kashipur
  • IIM Sirmaur
  • IIM Amritsar
  • IIM Visakhapatnam
  • SPJIMR
  • XLRI
  • UCLA Anderson
  • IIT Bombay–WashU
  • Harvard Business School
  • INSEAD

For each program, I compared:

  • Minimum work experience
  • Eligibility
  • Duration
  • Entrance exam requirements (CAT, GMAT, GRE, EA, institutional tests, or none)

A few things worth noting:

1. CAT isn't mandatory anymore.

Many schools now accept GMAT, GRE, or their own admission tests. Some don't require any standardized test at all.

2. Experience requirements vary wildly.

Some programs accept candidates with 2–3 years of experience, while others like Harvard SELP, INSEAD ILPSE, and ISB PGP MAX are clearly designed for professionals with 10+ years.

3. Every IIM has taken a different approach.

There's no standard "Executive MBA" model anymore.

Some offer:

  • Weekend classes
  • Hybrid/blended learning
  • Modular formats
  • Full residential modules
  • Their own entrance tests (IAT, EMAT, IMAT, IAAT, WE-MAT, etc.)

I've attached the comparison infographic for reference.

Happy to answer questions if you're considering any of these programs.

Which Executive MBA are you targeting for the 2026-27 intake, and why?

I'd also love to know if I missed any credible working professional MBA programs that should be included in Version 2.
