F1 25 + 26 Setups Sheet (Feedback wanted!)

Hey everyone 👋

I'm a long time Reddit lurker, but never really post, so this is weird typing out!
As some of you might know, I'm Matt212, a full-time content creator around the F1 Games predominantly, and for F1 25 I decided to create a setup sheet that anyone could access for free! (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mmFai7jDGYpZ2cc\_PBk3PBrpUFgbjEzB7z-q5P2VlFE/edit?usp=sharing)

Ultimately, this was meant to be a fun side project for myself around my normal content, but actually ended up being way more popular than I ever envisioned. I'm happy to say I'll be bringing the sheet forward into the F1 26 DLC (and hopefully much further into the future)!
I'm just looking for some feedback from general users:
Should I add / remove anything this year?
Do people use the track guides, do I need to implement anything into them?
Would people like to see more beginner / advanced / expert setups?

Ultimately I just have a general dislike towards paid setup shops within the F1 game space, I just personally feel like the games aren't advanced enough to really benefit many (outside the rare few that want to race in F1 Esports). I've never once felt inclined to pay for an in-game racing setup for F1 25 so wanted to share my knowledge with anyone else who felt the same way (or just wanted some basic career setups and track guides).

Lastly, if you have used the setups / track guides before, have they been useful? Have they helped you out. I really want to continue refining the process and allowing the F1 game to feel even more approachable for beginner / casual players

Thanks, Matt

Why do my tires overheat in the rain?

Hi everyone. I need your help understanding something. I recently had a race at Silverstone in what you could call "unpredictable" conditions. About ten laps on a dry track, then a very light rain which, after about 20 laps, forced all the drivers to pit for intermediate tires. (The rain was supposed to stop, and the softs were doing a remarkable job in those conditions, but they still had their limits.) My problem is this: after three laps, I realized my rear tires were starting to overheat slightly, so I slowed down. Despite driving as gently as possible, my intermediate tires quickly exceeded 105°C all around, even though I was being as gentle as I could be. (Norris was catching me by two seconds per lap, so I had to let him pass, the battle was pointless.)

I've always struggled with managing the temperature of intermediate/wet tires, but this time it was raining and I was ending up with severely overheated tires, no grip whatsoever, watching my tires completely lose traction even though the track was far from dry. Could someone shed some light on this?

What do you do to keep your intermediate/rain tires in the correct temperature zone?

Can anybody help give me information about this F1 Playseat?

I'm not familiar with racing OR simulation whatsoever, so trying to sell and price something like this out is difficult. I was wondering if anybody could give some context about it, like model or who/what it's styled after, pricing, etc? I also just love learning about things that others are passionate about and the simracing community is perhaps one of the most passionate. The only think I understand about it is that it's from the mid 2010s. Any help is much appreciated!

RS50 FFB SETTINGS F125

I have already tried the settings on logitech’s website and they were a good starting point but felt a little weak. Also Trueforce seems underwhelming on this game, Anybody has better ffb and trueforce settings without clipping. I am on Ps5 only btw if that helps. Thanks:)

What game(s) are you guys currently playing?

I personally have career modes on the go in F1 2019 (currently with Alfa Romeo), F1 2017 (currently with Renault), and F1 2012 (currently with Marussia). I find it really fun to have multiple on the go at different times, plus I was notoriously bad for making new career mode saves all the time, so this helps.

What games are you guys on currently, and how many seasons in?

Just one question about DLC: will I be able to continue Career to 2026 if I am doing a 2025 Career?

Just one question about DLC: will I be able to continue Career to 2026 if I am doing a 2025 Career?

(Second question LOL: is a 2026 Career even possible?)

Should EA have considered adding APXGP to the 2026 dlc pack?

Under the DLC page on steam, it states “Konnersport or APXGP teams cannot be added to the 2026 season of Driver Career or My Team.”. The only reason I even played my team career was because of the realistic sponsors and design on the APXGP car, now the generic made up sponsors will ruin the immersion and I’ll most likely not engage with the mode as much if at all. The team livery not being given as an option for the 2026 pack after paying for the iconic edition when F1 25 first released seems slightly unreasonable, especially if you paid for the APX dlc individually. Should EA have added the APXGP (and konnersport) liveries and team to driver/team careers or am I just overreacting?

Is the "More Updates" radio call useless ?

Since several months just after a race start in carrer mode I press this button to make my engineer talk a bit more but I don't know if it really makes a difference or if it's just more like a "placebo effect".

Can cars get beached?

Following the trailer coming out earlier on, seeing that stroll got beached, does that mean the game is finally bringing realistic gravel traps into the game, and also I know you always could get stuck, but it was very rare. But now this could mean every time we enter the gravel we could get beached, which for me adds so much more realism.

When will there be more/different liveries available in the store?

Annoying post as I'm sure this has been asked here many times previously but I'm not finding anything with reddit's awful search.

I just started playing ~5 days ago and am curious as to when I can expect more livery options in the store? I waited for the week to change over in the shop and still nothing- are liveries only in the monthly updates?

I'm loving the game so far and have already completed a season in My Team, but all the livery options for S2 are lacking and I was hoping to get a few more options before beginning the season.

Also, the only other recent F1 entry I played was 21- bring back the ability to mess with color scemes on liveries you don't own yet. Hard to justify spending $5 on something you can't even be sure will work the way you want it to.

williams is too overpowered in f125 career mode

recently started an f125 career mode and in my first f1 season (from f2) i chose williams since I liked the idea of a midfield battle.

i got p4 (carlos p5) in australia, and williams 1-2 in china sprint, china gp AND suzuka

me winning sure thats a one-off but a 1-2??

how is williams soooo fast
