For those of you using a wheel and pedals, do you do left-foot braking? I never really thought about it but now I’m curious if I’m doing myself a disservice by doing traditional right foot gas and braking.
Just installed F1 2013 from steamtools, as I heard it was one of the best f1 games and it does this. I’ve already tried running as administrator, compatibility mode, clearing download cache, etc.
I have just driven the Saudi 100% race and let’s just say my car was by far the worst I was lapped by several cars but I want shown a Blue flag once I have my flags and corner cutting in normal rather than strict is that why I wasn’t shown a blue flag or is it a bug?

After spending a few days in online lobbies, I suspect that traction control has been buffed.
When I joined lobbies where qualifying was already underway, I had to watch and wait for it to finish. During that time, I observed some players using traction control. In older games, seeing that usually meant the player would be an easy win. But this time….to my complete surprise, that wasn't the case. I drive with no assists and race against AI level 105–107. I swear, I ran into people definitely using traction control who were so incredibly fast that I couldn't keep up with them. I’ve been playing F1 online since *F1 2016*, and traction control users were always much slower, but that doesn't seem to be the case this year.
Am I crazy, or has anyone else noticed this?
I’m getting better but not consistent for example Australia end of turn 2 the long bend around sometimes I brake in time and downshift from 7/8 to 3 perfectly just as I’m around the bend and then go from there
But I feel I’m too slow in the corners in time trials etc and I don’t have enough speed? I’m trying to learn all the tracks and just learn changing gears on the fly
I know it’s just practice but any advice can help I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
Sometimes I mess up the braking and the car makes a big sliding noise lock up - I don’t know if that’s because i braked harshly without changing gears immediately but anyway I need big advice on that. Even the first turn in Australia in time trial 2026 DLC cars I immediately go to 40-50 mph on gear 3 but it’s never consistent and I feel I’m so slow
Hi! About a month ago, I posted about a problem that I don't know if it was fixed in a later game update. I know the driver ratings were improved, but that's about it. I hope someone can make a toolbox for it. Even so, my Antonelli is very strong for some reason.

problems:
1- Battery charging was still limited to 250kW, now it's at 350kW.
Can you feel it? Yes.
2- Aston Martin is too strong to be at the middle. Knowing their engine and chassis issues, I nerfed the weight and power of them Honda engine, the Honda engine is supposedly a problem caused by the Asston Martin's chassis itself, so the MyTeam power nerf didn't affect it.
3- I realized those that overtake mod for the new Ferrari and Red Bull wings. Looks weird, so I decided to do it myself more realistic.
4- Audi has one of the tallest gear ratios, shifting into 8th at around 330 kmh. I decided to change it.
5- I added a version with double the battery capacity in case you're allergic to superclipping.
6- I made Mercedes stronger a bit, and Caddy weaker, because they could still put up a fight—even against the Audis.
Based on the new ratings, they should be battling Haas and occasionally Williams, and they’ll almost always be ahead of Aston Martin.
It should be noted that mods installed using SERP or livery manuals will be removed because these files contain the original textures.
I'll consider doing the opposite: 250 kW discharge and 350 kW charging; I'll upload it later.
By the way, I don't mind if someone re-uploads this to Overtake—honestly, I can't be bothered to do it myself—I just hope you can tag the Reddit post.
When you receive game updates that include changes to the cars (or really, regardless of whether cars are involved), the files will be overwritten; I recommend backing up the files of your choice.
Is anyone else having weird glitches in F1 26 Career mode?
In the China Sprint the was a safety car lap 5/10, the race just ended and placed me last.
Then in the Japan Grand Prix it’s disqualified me after finishing the race for seemingly no reason when i was in P6.

I play on 90 difficulty career mode f1 26 DLC
I usually use med and boost when in normal mode but when I'm in overtake mode I seem to be losing a lot of battery quickly in med+boost without gaining any much time bcoz i run out of battery for the next lap then so any tips for battery deployment in overtake and normal mode?
I stopped playing F1 25 a while back. Mainly because the F1 games have fallen off and are not good anymore. But I am keeping an eye on the 2026 DLC. How are the AI? One of my biggest issues with this game was the AI making ZERO sense. I would normally play on AI at 100-103 before. Are the AI using cheats like usual? Or is it any better now?
Im using a ps5 and the last f1 game ive played was f1 17. Im looking to buy a newer generation game but im not sure which one to buy. I can find f1 23 and 24 for closer to 24 dollars on disc. F1 25 is about 50 dollars here. Im not sure which one would be a better one for the newer generations.
Which one should i get?
With the dlc this year my steam library will forever have a gap between 25 and 27 😭. Wish there was a way to get 2010 also, as it was on steam many years ago. My personal top 5: 2020 2017 2012 23 2013
