I joined Apple TV and I see Formula 1 on it but don’t see the little button where you select drivers in multiview.
Do we still use the F1 TV app?

Pessoal, estou tentando resolver um problema com o F1 TV no meu BTV Cast BC13 e queria saber se alguém encontrou alguma solução ou workaround real.

Contexto:
- Meu BTV roda Android 9
- O app do F1 TV sempre apareceu como incompatível na Play Store do BTV
- Então há bastante tempo eu comecei a usar APK Android TV (leanback) instalada manualmente
- Funcionou perfeitamente por muito tempo
- Agora o app parou de funcionar e mostra mensagem dizendo que a versão não é mais compatível

Encontrei na documentação oficial da F1 TV que eles exigem Android 11+, então imagino que o problema esteja relacionado a isso, embora funcionando via apk até 2 meses atrás…

Tenho também um projetor HY300 Pro com Android 11 e nele o app instala normalmente direto pela Play Store oficial e funciona perfeitamente, justamente por ser compatível.

No BTV já tentei:
- versões diferentes de APK
- APKMirror
- limpar cache/dados
- reinstalar
- navegador (funciona via browser)

O problema é que eu realmente queria voltar a usar o app normalmente na minha TV principal.

Hoje ainda consigo assistir as corridas ao vivo pelo LiveTV do BTV usando o canal SporTV 3, mas a qualidade de imagem é muito inferior ao F1 TV.

Além disso, eu não tenho tempo de assistir tudo ao vivo. Normalmente só consigo assistir a corrida e classificação ao vivo. Treinos livres e sprint normalmente assisto playback.

E justamente aí que o problema piora:
depois de todos os problemas/tretas envolvendo BTV lá por novembro de 2025, o playback do LiveTV ficou muito ruim. Então eu assinei o F1 TV justamente pra ter uma experiência melhor de replay/on demand.

Desde então eu vinha assistindo tudo normalmente pelo app no BTV até o último GP do Japão. Agora no GP de Miami simplesmente parou de funcionar.

E sinceramente é frustrante porque:
- estou pagando o F1 TV
- o app funciona normalmente em Android 11
- mas não consigo usar justamente na minha TV principal

Espelhar celular/PC é horrível.
HDMI funciona, mas é um saco depender disso.
Navegador no btv e na tv é muito lento.

Queria saber se alguém conseguiu:
- rodar em algum launcher Android TV específico
- usar alguma versão APK que ainda funcione
- fazer bypass da incompatibilidade
- impedir o app de detectar versão do Android/device
- usar spoof/fingerprint/root
- rodar direto em Smart TV Samsung (Tizen)
- alguma solução específica pra BTV ou Android 9

PS: Já tentei praticamente tudo que encontrei no Reddit e YouTube sobre isso, mas a maioria dos posts/vídeos está desatualizada ou usa métodos que não funcionam mais nas versões atuais do F1 TV.

Qualquer dica, teste ou relato ajuda bastante.

I get 4k 30fps hdr hlg. But I get hdr hlg 50fps at 1080p only.

I'm using Bravia 5 tv and Chromecast 4k with google tv device to stream at 4k. I have the f1tv premium subscription and have uhd enabled in the settings. I have app update to the latest version. I have set chromecast resolution at 4k 50fps too. I have turned on "match content dynamic range" and "match content framerate" too. Still the stream is at 4k hdr hlg 30fps. This was when viewing Miami race replay.

Anyone with Chromecast 4k with google tv, please let know if you guys are having the same issue. If it works fine (you're getting 50fps for 4k instead of 30fps), please help me.

I have an F1 subscription in the US through AppleTV. I’m planning on going to Europe over the summer, will I be able to use my F1 subscription while there?

I received an email earlier that said my f1tv subscription has been canceled because they cannot confirm my apple subscription (I am in the US). They say to contact apple who are beyond useless. I have spent over an hour trying to fix it. I finally gave up on apples help and reconnected my accounts but I assume it will not last long again. Anyone else having this issue and any suggestions? Thanks for any info.
