Why didn’t the Safety Car come in?
Confused I am
Confused I am
When I pause the race and then go to press play, it pushes the race to the live session no matter what. A guaranteed way to ruin my Sunday. *specifically apple TV
Usually so high quality but it’s dropping down to a very pixelated stream every few mins. It’s almost unwatchable! Is this happening to anyone else?
Wife and I finally took time to change settings on Apple TV to get back to Crofty, Martin and the team!
Love their commentary so much more than the US guys.
It’s like meeting up with an old friend.
We are ready to watch Silverstone!
Let’s GO!
Why? Just why?
It’s a horrible user experience, the opening theme starts playing and you try to swap to the race feed, then you go to 15 minutes before. Pressing the live button doesn’t work. You kill the app, try again and same thing still start at the same spot as before while that the race is almost has started and you’re pushing like crazy to switch and get it live.
Why they make it so bad? how hard would it be to automatically swap from pre-race to race?
Can barely make out the cars it’s that poor!!
We've been without power all weekend long, so no internet, air conditioning and spoiled food in the fridge. One thing that has for sure worked is the F1 app shooting me notifications about the race weekend results even though I have "Spoiler-free mode" enabled, and notifications off.
Horrible job, guys.
I’m noticing for quite some weeks now that the video and sound is not equal, but with a slight difference. I think 1ms
Am I the only one?
Anyone else having sound sync issues when viewing on Android TV Google tv 4k? Been like this all weekend!!
Don't have this issue on my android phone.
I am trying to catch the 2026 British Grand Prix live, but my usual streams are completely dead or buffering every few seconds. I keep missing the action every time the cars hit the high-speed corners.Does anyone have a direct, lag-free F1 stream link for the race today? Alternatively, what are the best official options? I know F1 TV Pro works in some regions, and Channel 4 is free in the UK, but I need something stable right now.
Posted the first version of this here a few months ago, started as a Uni project but got a really good response from this sub so wanted to come back with what's changed since. Silverstone weekend felt like a good excuse.
Biggest addition: a Live Timing window. Driver standings, gaps, sector times, tyre stints with pit stop history, race control messages, team radio, all synced up to whatever you're watching. It reads from F1's public timing archive, Auto-syncs to the stream.
Also shipped a macOS build, this was Windows only when I first posted.
Bunch of smaller stuff got fixed along the way too: team radio clips actually play now instead of getting stuck at 0:00, race control flags are color coded instead of one blob of text, and a DRM fix for the newer 2026 replay pipeline that was throwing license errors.
Still requires your own F1TV subscription, still fully open source, no DRM bypass, just a better shell around the real stream.

trying to watch the damn quali and its been 15 minutes like this (tried forcing the app to close, clean cash, switch stream, etc etc, nothing fucking works)
Trying to login with F1 TV with Apple TV subscription. Never had an issue, but this morning my phone, iPad, Apple TV was all logged out and can’t log back in. All give me the same error, deleted and reinstalled all apps, and when I hit forgot password to reset, never get a reset email. How do I fix this
Hey,
I am usually based in Dubai, UAE - and got my F1 TV subscription there but currently in the UK for 2 months.
Just logged into my F1 TV account - and there is no option for live anymore?
How does this work - do I have to buy a new subscription or how do I get to access the live and past full sessions?
thanks.
Everyone else is seeing this on global feed, right?
I haven't seen it posted yet but it's been happening since at least last week, both F1 and F1A.
I've been building RaceRGB for over a year in my free time. I wanted to be able to click a button, connect my lights and sit on the couch with a beer and have a more immersive experience watching F1 live using my HUE lights.
I've been adding more features for HUE, Govee, and LIFX over the past few months, including:
- Qualifying mode, connect 3 lights to each sector and follow your favourite driver during qualifying (or sprint qualifying)
- Lead change, team colours light up and flash when the lead changes in a race, or sprint
- Personalized Reactions, choose exactly how your lights respond to each event (red flag, safety car, fastest lap, and more)
- Windows Desktop app, which allows HUE to be connected via LAN for quick calls.
- Multiviewer integration, this can be used live or to watch historical races
All the existing features still remain: Cloud connection to run via browser, broadcast delay, light management and more!
If you're interested in giving it a spin for this weekend's race, you get a whole race weekend free trial.
Yes, I prefer Sky Sports Feed over F1TV. This week, Qualifying isn’t showing up on the schedule on AppleTV. Any one else getting this issue?
I know this makes no sense but anyone else having audio sync issues after swapping to the apple sub? I mean, during the race it does not matter but the other content with people in it is just hurting my head!
Same device (linked my apple id to F1 id), same amplifier (the hdmi auto sync thing), same player (google tv device), same everything. Other content thru that same box is NOT an issue.
The only change I can figure is the apple swap - worked before and ONLY F1 is affected.
Posting to see if anyone else has had this problem cause i'm kind of bewildered. Opened the F1 TV app on my Apple TV this morning to watch the sprint qualies, and the app glitched and then crashed. When I reopened it, the app had logged me out, and when I tried to log in, it kept rejecting my username and password repeatedly.
I pulled out my laptop and opened up the the formula 1 website cause clearly something odd was going on (and spoiled the qualies outcome for myself in the process lol) but found I had been logged out on there too. I tried to log in but couldn't get in, and I then tried to do a password reset, thinking maybe somehow my password had been force reset. But this was was also rejected, with a generic message saying my "There was a problem with your password or email address". I also was kicked out of the Formula 1 app on my iPad so I can't use live timing either for these sessions.
Wherever I go, I cannot log in to my account and it keeps acting like it just doesn't exist. It's just odd to me as I've been using this account since 2014. Anyone else ever have a similar issue?
I'm now forced to watching the sessions in the Apple TV app, which isn't the end of the world, but I'm just confused how this happened. Tried reaching out to their support line, but their agents are off for the holiday.
