Leagues owners and drivers: what is the absolute worst day/time to schedule a race?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been talking with a lot of league owners and team managers lately, and it feels like trying to schedule a sim-racing championship that fits everyone’s availability is an absolute nightmare.

From your experience (both as drivers looking for a seat or as organizers trying to fill a grid) what is the absolute worst day and time to host an event? And on the flip side, have you actually found a "golden hour" that consistently gets a 100% attendance rate?

Full disclosure on why I'm asking: I’m a sim-racer and and I'm developing a website, and I got so tired of chasing drivers across dozens of fragmented Discord servers that I built a free platform called RaceJoin to let drivers create a unified "Pilot Card" with their availability.

Right now, I'm coding a matching filter in the backend to automatically cross-reference drivers' free days/hours with open league spots (so leagues can instantly find who is free on, say, a Tuesday night at 9 PM without spamming Facebook or Discord).

If you want to check out how the Pilot Cards look or give me some feedback on the logic, you can check it out Racejoin on Google.

Thank you all!

Looking for a League EST Time Zone

Hi there Peeps,

I am looking to join a league this is preferably NA time zone. I have tried to join a few but they all end up be UK time, which is fine, just doesn't work with my schedule. I currently race vs 70-80% AI but would love to join a community and fight for Championships!

Again, looking for North American race leagues.

Cheers

Building an alternative to messy spreadsheets for Team and Championship Management. What features am I missing?

Hi everyone,

A few weeks ago I shared my project, RaceJoin, and the feedback here was huge. One thing that kept coming up was: 'The driver dashboard is a very powerful tool, but would be cool also a tool to manage my team's lineups and race calendars'

I'm back at my desk and I just pushed a Team & Crew and Championship management feature to the live site. I tried to keep it simple: you can create a Team or a Championship, organize your drivers into squads, and have a shared roadmap/calendar for everyone to see.

I’m a solo dev and I don’t want to overcomplicate things, so I'm looking for your honest (and brutal) feedback:

- For Team Managers: What is the most annoying part of managing a sim-racing team lineup?
- For League Admins: What feature is a 'must-have' when you're setting up a new season calendar?
- Privacy: Would you prefer a 'Public' team profile for fans to see, or something private just for members?

Thanks for the support during these weeks, we just hit 500 pilots and it's honestly all thanks to the advice I got here!

Hey everyone, I’m looking for a serious and competitive F1 25 league (or one that will start soon). I’m after a league with minimal driver assists: • Best case: no assists at all • Acceptable: Trajectory / Racing Line only

Everything else (braking assist, traction control, auto gears, etc.) should be turned off. I want clean, skill-based racing where we actually improve as drivers.
Schedule requirements:
• Races should start between 15:00 and 20:00 CEST (French time) ideally.
• Preferred start time around 17:00 CEST.
• I can’t do very late races or super early ones due to work.
I’m looking for a mature, respectful community that values fair racing, no constant dirty driving, and good sportsmanship. Platform is PC (but open to mixed if needed).
If you have a league that matches this or are planning to create one, drop me a comment or DM with the details (Discord, rules, calendar, etc.).
Thanks in advance! Let’s find some proper racing. 🔥
