FC 26 Realistic Sliders.

I need help with career mode sliders. I have been using custom sliders which aren't too different from the authentic sliders, but the game is too easy for me atm. I still want realism but I need it more challenging without the craziness of the AI when I put it on competitive/normal gameplay. Every time I look online for sliders, I get outdated versions of sliders from months ago and I want to find sliders that fit the current update of the game. I play on legendary with Newcastle United.

FC 26 PC is becoming UNPLAYABLE — 97 PAC players can't sprint, GPU utilization drops during matches, and I've tried almost everything

I've reached the point where I genuinely don't know what else to do with EA SPORTS FC 26 on PC.

I'm posting this because I want to know whether other PC players are experiencing the same thing, and because at this point I feel like EA needs to take these problems seriously.

My FC26 worked properly when I first bought it. After subsequent updates/patches, the experience progressively became worse.

This is NOT simply me complaining because I lost a match.

I have played this game enough to know the difference between losing because I played badly and the game simply not responding correctly.

My PC

  • RTX 3070 Laptop GPU
  • Intel i7-11800H
  • 32GB RAM
  • NVMe SSD
  • 144Hz display

This isn't some PC that struggles to run games.

I can run significantly more demanding games at high settings, including ray tracing, with excellent performance.

FC26 is the only game giving me this kind of problem.

THE BIGGEST PROBLEM: MY PLAYERS WILL NOT SPRINT

This is the problem that has pushed me over the edge.

I can have a player with 90+ pace, hold the sprint button properly, and the player will sometimes enter the running animation but simply doesn't accelerate.

I have players with:

  • 92+ pace
  • 94+ pace
  • 97 pace

and they can feel like they have 60 pace.

The opponent's defender can be several metres behind my striker and suddenly catch him.

And I'm not talking about the normal "lengthy defender catches an attacker" mechanic.

I'm talking about the player not accelerating properly in the first place.

Sometimes the player literally looks like he's running but isn't actually gaining speed.

I've tested this in offline Kick-Off as well.

So before somebody tells me:

>

No.

It happens offline.

AND IT'S NOT JUST SPRINTING

I've also experienced:

  • delayed player switching
  • incorrect player switching
  • defenders suddenly behaving strangely
  • players failing to respond properly
  • goalkeeper reactions that feel completely wrong
  • controller disconnecting/reconnecting
  • gameplay becoming extremely heavy
  • strange animation delays
  • GPU utilization behaving abnormally

And this is where it gets REALLY strange.

MY RTX 3070 ISN'T BEING USED PROPERLY

During the FC26 menu, the GPU utilization can increase normally.

When I pause the game, the GPU suddenly starts working harder and the fans respond accordingly.

But when I actually play the match, GPU utilization can drop dramatically.

I've seen it sitting around 45–60%, sometimes lower, while the game feels terrible.

And this isn't because the RTX 3070 is incapable of running the game.

Other demanding games use the GPU normally on the same laptop.

FC26 is behaving differently.

I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING

And I mean that literally.

I've gone through troubleshooting over and over again.

GPU / NVIDIA

  • Clean NVIDIA driver installation
  • DDU
  • Reinstalled NVIDIA drivers
  • Tested different driver configurations
  • Tested Discrete GPU mode
  • Tested Balanced/Hybrid mode
  • Tested Performance mode
  • Tested normal laptop power modes
  • Forced the RTX 3070 for the game

FC26 graphics

I've tested:

  • Low settings
  • Higher settings
  • Texture resolution changes
  • Different display modes
  • V-Sync
  • V-Sync off
  • FPS limits
  • Uncapped FPS
  • Different performance settings

Interestingly, limiting my FPS actually made the responsiveness worse.

So please don't just tell me:

>

I've already tested it.

Controller

I've also tested:

  • Wired controller
  • Wireless controller
  • Different USB connections
  • Different controller configurations

And the sprint problem still occurs.

Offline testing

This is probably the most important part:

The problem happens in Kick-Off/offline gameplay.

Therefore, this isn't something I can simply blame on:

  • 34ms ping
  • my opponent
  • Ultimate Team servers
  • matchmaking
  • Division Rivals
  • my ISP

I ALSO TESTED MY HARDWARE

My laptop isn't overheating.

I maintain it properly.

I've monitored temperatures and GPU behaviour.

And I can run demanding games normally.

For example, I recently tested another much more demanding title at high settings with ray tracing and was getting 90+ FPS.

So when FC26 is struggling to give me proper responsiveness despite my RTX 3070 sitting there barely being utilized, I'm sorry, but I'm not going to accept:

>

That doesn't explain what I'm seeing.

EA SUPPORT'S RESPONSE

I contacted EA support.

Their troubleshooting recommendations were essentially:

  1. Disable Analog Sprint.
  2. Change Gameplay Preset.
  3. Disable EA App overlay.
  4. Repair the game.
  5. Reset local profile/configuration files.

I'm not dismissing those steps, but I've already spent a huge amount of time troubleshooting this game.

EA's own support documentation also acknowledges that FC can develop problems from corrupted local game files, including freezing, glitches and disconnections, and recommends repairing/deleting affected files.

The problem is that none of these standard troubleshooting steps explains why FC26 worked properly on my system previously and then became progressively worse after updates.

AND OTHER PC PLAYERS ARE REPORTING SIMILAR THINGS

This isn't just me.

I've found other FC26 PC players reporting:

  • heavy/slow players
  • sprint delay
  • input delay
  • problems even in offline/training environments
  • micro-stuttering
  • controller problems
  • high-end PCs behaving strangely

There are even reports of players saying that the game feels delayed despite very high FPS and that FPS limiting can make the responsiveness worse.

There's also a large FC26 PC input-delay thread with many users reporting serious controller/input problems.

So I'm not claiming every FC26 player has my exact problem.

I'm saying:

There is clearly a broader PC gameplay/performance/input problem that deserves serious investigation.

EA — PLEASE ACTUALLY INVESTIGATE THIS

I'm not asking for another:

>

>

>

>

I've already done that.

I want EA to investigate the actual PC gameplay/rendering/input system.

Especially:

Why can FC26 show high FPS while the actual gameplay feels like 30 FPS?

Why can GPU utilization drop dramatically during the actual match while the game becomes less responsive?

Why can high-pace players fail to accelerate properly even in offline Kick-Off?

Why do controller/input problems persist after changing between wired and wireless?

Why did the game work properly previously on the same hardware but become progressively worse following updates?

These are the questions I want answered.

MY MESSAGE TO OTHER PLAYERS

If you're experiencing the same thing, don't just accept it as "that's FC."

Record it.

Show:

  • your controller input
  • your player sprinting
  • your FPS
  • GPU utilization
  • CPU utilization
  • the same issue happening offline

And report it.

EA's own FC26 support page currently provides troubleshooting and an EA Connection Quality Report, but connection quality doesn't explain problems that can be reproduced offline.

The more reproducible evidence players provide, the harder it is to dismiss these problems as simply "user error."

I don't expect every person to boycott EA or stop playing.

But stop normalizing broken products.

If a game costs serious money and receives continuous updates, players should be able to expect those updates to improve the experience—not introduce new problems while old ones remain unresolved.

I genuinely want FC26 to be good. That's why I'm still trying to fix it instead of immediately uninstalling it.

But I'm getting to the point where I have spent more time troubleshooting FC26 than actually enjoying it.

EA, please fix the PC version.

If you're experiencing the same issue, comment your GPU, CPU, controller, Windows version, whether it happens offline, and whether your GPU utilization drops during matches. Let's document this properly instead of everyone troubleshooting the same problem individually.

Is FC 27 actually worth buying? Here’s why I changed my mind...

The truth is, based on my experience over the last few years, I simply don’t see any meaningful progress and the publisher doesn't even seem willing to try.

They keep claiming everywhere that "they hear us" and listen to our feedback, but apparently they’re totally deaf to it.

Personally, I feel like barely anything changes from year to year. On top of that, the gameplay in online matches is still full of those weird, artificial-feeling situations. Yesterday, I queued up for Ultimate Team Rivals in FC 26. I started about 10 matches-well, started, because I couldn't finish a single one the whole thing was just that frustrating..

...and spare me the "get good" comments... hahahahaha... the game is literally making a fool out of you.

No matter what tactics I ran, my opponents felt unbeatable, but not necessarily because of their own skill. My players were just completely helpless. It felt like the AI was aggressively and angrily trying to suppress and shut down my every single move, while giving the opponent a free pass with auto-defending and pinpoint passing.

I honestly think that as long as the publisher prioritizes casino-like microtransactions and maximum profit over providing a fair gameplay experience, FC 27 won't be any better.

This year I’m saving my money for GTA 6 instead. This pile of garbage can stay with the addicts-let them rage-quit and complain later about how buying it was a mistake...

Is this…normal?

I just started my career mode with Stoke. First day, 'Let's check out my youth academy.' I've started several career modes in my life, maybe not in England, but I've never seen anything like this. Is this a common thing and I'm usually just unlucky or what?

FC 26 – Severe Input Delay with 42ms Ping. Any Fix

I’m experiencing noticeable input delay in FC 26, especially when switching players, passing, and shooting. My ping is stable around 42ms.

Has anyone had the same issue and found a fix?

Rules for realism

What are some rules you follow by to make your saves more realistic, the more unhinged the better.
I get the sell a player if a big club comes in, but I need some next level things.
Along the lines of: only buy players who are at least 2 ratings lower than your highest rated player. only 2-3 academy graduates per year. the potential of the academy graduates can only be 5 ratings higher than your highest overall player in your squad.

Going to be starting a new save in english 4th tier, basic, but that’s where i’m at with this game now, back to where it started

Title: How to properly move female players to men's teams using Live Editor in FIFA 23?

Body:

Hey everyone,

I’ve been trying to figure out how to mix women's and men's players into the same team on FIFA 23. I know that on PC, people use the Live Editor to transfer female players directly into men's clubs, but I wanted to ask about the best way to do it without causing crashes or bugs.

If I use the Live Editor to change a female player's Team ID to a men's team, does she completely disappear from her original women's team? Also, do they actually load properly in a Kick-Off match, or are there model/animation glitches I should watch out for?

If anyone has tried this on FIFA 23 and has a quick step-by-step or any tips to avoid corrupted saves, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks!

Help me understand dribbling in FC 26

Please help. I've just started playing FC 26 after playing FC 24 for a while. I'm playing my favorite Mode, The player career as a Rw. The first thing I noticed is how bad the dribbling is compared to FC 24. Much more harder to beat players one on one.

How does one go about enjoying it. I need tips, maybe it's a skill issue cause I remember The trailer being all about improved dribbling.

Please help

I have played the fc 27 career mode and here are some things

I have played career mode for years and fc since fifa 13 so I have been through the old, nostalgic, peak and new. Some of this is good some of this is bad but overall I just wanna see improvement when it comes out.

  1. First off some of the stuff isn’t even in the beta like position changes manually through the formation screen and some other stuff that I know for a fact was in the trailer but I’m not seeing in the game at the moment.
  2. It seems they are trying to improve the depth of career mode and lean towards competiting with football manager with more details and making more realistic circumstances in career mode. But I chose the base settings when starting out and I tried to make signings that EA haven’t done yet and the fact that there is just automatic refusal doesn’t make sense back in the day in career mode they would reject on contract terms because any club with the right offer they will let the player go especially a second team player. Imagine Real Madrid wanted to buy Joe Gomez and he was like NO. It would never happen. The menus are improved but too improved like I said more depth but every thing you can click on has a separate section. It’s too much for the average player it’s too much for anyone who enjoys a classic FIFA career mode.
  3. They have removed so much for unnecessary reasons training plans are now scrapped when they did nothing wrong I liked how you had to rotate your squad or you just didn’t have or do a mix there was no limits to creativity it seems now they have limited options for certain creative and realistic aspects of the game to just EA giving you the options. EA can’t make a realistic career mode even when they try. It’s poor from them to be honest. The fact now you have to enquire to approach a FREE AGENT is stupid you don’t you just sign them they reject you for contract purposes. They have removed features that did no harm and were quite convenient and given us a Football Manager replica that is overwhelming and hard to navigate. Some people want a simple career mode.
  4. Some good stuff. I like the idea of the player choosing a club over you or a club wanting to renegotiate like a bidding war. Tried signing a player for Liverpool they went to Everton now that’s cinema and an enjoyable part of the game. I like that. The depth to deals now is great. But you could argue all the good stuff should have been already in the game.
  5. Gameplay. I play on Ultimate always have it’s the only difficulty that makes me concede goals. But the AUTHENTIC GAMEPLAY IS TERRIBLE. Super slow, super sluggish it’s like they are all 50 years older and the game is so like a basketball match where nothing happens my game had 15 shots 1 goal. Because the game was slow I couldn’t run I couldn’t dribble I couldn’t create chances because the AI would track back and have 11 defenders so even I beat my player 2 more came and won the ball. It’s not even tactics the fact that the LB has 50 pace and my RW has 80 pace and he can’t beat him in a 10 yard dash is poor. When I going for finesse shots they take about 5 seconds to leave my foot. The only positive is Manuel defending exists and I do feel that it is better to use than let the AI try and get the ball for me.

The problem is Football Manager is too realistic for majority of players and you sim every game. FC isn’t good enough to be a decent career mode game. There are no decent competitors in the scene right now so it’s difficult.

I have played more than just career mode when playing FIFA and FC. I have come to the conclusion that based on FC 26 and this year I will play the beta version until it expires and then the only way I play FC 27 is if I get it for free or gifted by a friend. The overall product isn’t worth the price and the only way the product will improve is people don’t buy the game. It’s a shame that is the reality.

I bought a second hand FIFA 17 Disc Edition and I can't install it.

Hi guys,

First of all this is my first post here and I don't know if this is the way of asking this kind of things.

I bought a physical disc copy of FIFA 17 from a second-hand store, but when I try to install it, the process immediately redirects me to Origin, causing the installer to stop working.

I therefore decided to manually copy the content of all the five discs to my PC and launch the game that way. However, doing so redirects me to the EA app and triggers an error: "You don't have access. Another user may have installed the game on your device."

I assume the original owner installed the game at some point, and—despite me owning the disc—there is no way for me to play it.

Do you know of any way to fix this?

Thank you very much.
