I moved to a new country and realized something: I love playing sports, talking about investments, studying in good company, but I couldn’t find people who were into the same things.
Then I realized something even more surprising. Back home, I didn’t have those people either.
So people came up with a thing called Communities and Clubs — Sports Clubs, Book Clubs, Running Groups. But here’s my problem: I don’t want to read books or go for a run with 100 strangers. I want 3-4 people where we just… do things together.
I thought “is there an app that finds me people at that moment, for that plan, with the same interest?”
I found none.
So you know what I did?
I BUILT MY OWN.
Within a couple of weeks, me and my friend (who loves to code) launched an MVP.
It’s simple — post a plan, people nearby join in.
“Let’s play badminton in my yard” → people send a request → you pick who joins.
Or last week I was free for a night walk but my friend was busy — so I posted it. People nearby who were bored and ready for something new just… showed up.
Would you use something like this? Drop a comment. Also I’m thinking to make a reddit for the app and website as well so people can try.
I'm feeling annoyed at the moment in my room by myself. People like lied to me saying they like my creations but didn't really mean it or judge how my characters look similar to each other. I keep explaining to them but wouldn't listen. As a fellow writer, editor, artist and Gacha creator. Even if they don't really know what gacha club is. So, I'm hoping I'll find someone who'll be interested into my creations someday without judging their designs or what my universe is like.
