Hey everyone, I'm back with a new trailer for my post-apocalyptic game. I spent two hours making it, so please rate it.
He will not conduct the procedure. And if i ask for vaccine against poison then he gives it to me and stops conducting any dialogues alltogether. If i go to the happy doctor in redding he does not have any dialogue options regarding this subject at all.
Dude at the desk will not let me in. The option to say i am here to see president is lacking.
Wiki says that i need to be told by police man to go there first but he also do not give me this dialogue. He only sends me to his friend.
Why is this particular policeman shooting at me?
Hey r/classicfallout!
I'm a contributor of VOCK (Vocal Output Creation Kit), an open-source pipeline that lets voice actors record lines for Fallout 2 NPCs and get them fully integrated into the game, complete with lip-sync and in-engine audio.
What's involved:
What you'll get:
We have characters of every type:
Gruff traders, tribal warriors, sarcastic politicians, weary doctors, shady criminals, and a certain very confused King Arthur reference I won't spoil.
No experience needed:
A USB mic works fine. All genders and accents welcome! The wasteland is diverse.
VOCK is open source so you can see exactly how your recordings get processed.
A note on AI:
A handful of early NPCs were voiced with AI tools while I was building and testing the pipeline. I needed something to work with while the software wasn't ready for real actors. Those are placeholder tracks, and replacing them with real human performances is the whole point of this post. Every new character going forward will be voiced by a real person. That's not a compromise, it's the goal.

Hi everyone! I know most of you know me here already, but for those who don't I’ve been solo developing ApocaShift for a little over 3 years now, and I wanted to share some of the newer progress.
It’s a post-apocalyptic isometric RPG/survival game inspired by Fallout 1 & 2, Escape from Tarkov, Stalker, and Zero Sievert, with base building, progression, scavenging, survival mechanics, and settlement systems mixed in.
A lot has changed recently, especially the inventory, combat, crafting, progression, UI, and base-building systems, so I figured I’d show some newer screenshots.
I’m still working on it completely solo, so feedback is always appreciated.
Lastly, I plan on having the open playtest the ending of this month! Stay tuned!!!
