Full health human (for now). Ultracite bow is my main, plasma is for robots. I use a cryo burning love for support, hence cryologist (guess i should throw science! In there too😅). Would also like to know what legendary perks to invest in🙏🏼thanks in advance.
Im running with 4 bows right now and have PP on two of them. Fract w/explosive on one and Pyro w/flame arrows on the other. Is Encircler's or Electricians worth it? I feel l ike with the latter the shock wave will get annoying.
I’ve been looking for a lucky hit mod but I can’t find someone selling it, and if I do it’s for like 8000 caps. I currently have about 3000 caps, if that’s not enough I have some other mods I can throw in.
So I just got around to trying out bows, I'm totally sold. I get it, I see why so many people are bow builds now. I did moonshine jamboree alone.
I uploaded my perk layout for some general feedback from anyone who wants to help.
I am a NON PA, human, full health build. Herbivore should it matter, when I know what I'll be doing I make blight soup, otherwise I roll with corn soup and coffee.
Used a crossbow, furious explosive swift fracture.

Ive read and watched videos on a lot of bow users saying this perk card is not really useful for end game builds because it doesnt provide much damage if at all due too diminishing returns. I was wondering what the community thinks about using it or not.
Lets Say:
They cant be crafted.
Only rare finds, you might be lucky to find 1 or 2 a month.
Weight the same as a Normal Mini Nuke.
Have less range than a normal arrow.
Takes 5-10% CND off bow when fired.
Can be sold in Vendor.
Pretty much title, i finally got a rage armor, adjusted my build, went to another earle to test it out.. and it barely got 1k more damage
Im running bloodied now, no onslaught because i cant spare the perks, got down ranger, bow before me, tormentor, number cruncher, nerd rage, gunslinger, ninja, sandman, better crits, follow through, all the relevant mutations, herbivore, blight soup, overdrive, rage armor stacked and my crits did 13k?
I have a bloodied ultracite compound with crit dmg, pinpointers.

I know people assume chameleon is only good for pvp, but it's great at keeping you hidden. However, I find myself being thrown off by being invisible and have a hard time knowing when I've nocked an arrow in 1st/3rd person. It's manageable, but it does interrupt my shooting speed.
This is for anyone that wants to use this mechanic or wants to understand better about this mechanic. I kept this one a little more brief.
It's easily accessible via the perk card or the mutation, but there's other ways of using this mechanic. Will you use them?
I hope I covered every mod that uses this mechanic, thus far it seems. They may bring more.

Hi! I'm fairly new to using a bow and I've slapped together a probably amateur build for my character. I'm a human and mostly do full health, any tips on what I could use to further improve my build? I've been planning to play around with solar armor but I'm about 15 gold short of actually being able to buy a full set, so I'm using my regular commando armor ATM.

Hoping some of the future seasons have a few more pieces for us! But this is still one of my favorite combos.
Left Fallout 76 years ago and just came back still trying to get used to all the changes. was always bloody, and i mean always lol. Ran heavy weapons, fixers/handmades, flamers, bows, shotguns everything, bows where always a favorite. i know bloody is still meta dps, but decided to try out ghoul for fun, QOL of not dying to random **** when I'm not paying attention and just something different.
cryo bow is for dps, explosive for event tagging really, have not changed the 3rd start on that bow, don't really use the burning love, used to use if for tagging at events maybe i should swap pyro/explosive perks and bows for tagging.
armor going for full set of lucid used 2 chameleon 3lucid for now, want to try to get limit breaking but have not come across them in a vendor or drop yet.
open to suggestions I'm sure it's pretty meh lol (I think 🤷♂️)
