Bills
Not serial numbers, but interesting bills i found in a family members safe that recently passed away. Any thoughts on values?
What type of fancy serial is this?
Hi all, new to this section. Just wondering what the type of fancy serial this would fall under. I feel like if the 8 at the end was a 3 then that would be even more valuable. And if possible I don't know if i'm allowed but looking for a valuation of it. Thank you in advance :)
worth more than face value?
I received this blue yesterday and almost spent it without noticing lol, is this worth any more than face?
#5565556.
Thoughts on any of these bills? Are they worth anything?
“4th of July” Star Note Date Found Today
Found this today at work believe it or not. I noticed immediately that it was a birthday note (although April 7th is what I saw at first). I ran the serial number through the star note lookup site to see if it was a low print run but it was just average. That’s when the date popped in my head. A 4th of July bill found on the 4th of July! 😂 it’s the one day of the year that we say day month year and not month day year. I just can’t believe the odds of finding this today. Figured I just had to post this for the 4th today.
Apparently on this date (4th of July 1896) was the first debut of the 45th star USA flag since earlier that year on January 4th 1896 Utah had become the 45th state to join the United States. That makes it the first Independence Day that Utah got to celebrate as a state of the US!
Happy 4th!
89.1% cool factor...
I know it is not fancy but I kind of thought it was pretty neat. Put it into our currency collector program and it came out with the 89.1% cool Factor. I'll post it just for the heck of it. Will probably spend it.

Solid serial number with matching block letters
Got as change
First <10,000 serial in a long time, & my first true flipper.
This is my first fancy note
Its not even that fancy but its the first ive had worth a double take.
Sequential serial numbers
I received these two $5 bills as part of payment from my client. These are crisp bills from series 2021 printed, in December 2022 in Fort Worth for federal reserve in San Francisco. I received them in July 2026 in Jacksonville, Florida! Quite the traveling these did to stay together for that length of time and distance.
My first Fancy Serial Number!
Would this have any premium? I’m trying to start paying attention to the serial on bills and came across this.
Thats kinda cool
Is there a name for that or am I the only one that thinks thats cool hahah
Is this fancy?
It's a star note and it seems fancy, but can't quite tell if it's worth keeping. It's also almost uncirculated.
69 + 66666... Any Premium?
Found this in circulation today: 69066666.
Does the "69" plus five consecutive 6s add collector or novelty premium, or just a fun serial number?
