So I've been occasionally writing a lotm (lord of the mysteries) fanfic for a couple of weeks but have no idea where to post it? I thought of posting it on webnovel but I heard they pay scraps and force you to give them ownership over your material, is this true? What about RoyalRoad, do they allow fanfics? If there are writers here please advise. Also, can fanfics be monetized? This is not self promo as I genuinely don't know about these matters and just want advice on which platforms are suitable for me.
I like to report of a hacker. Since the upload file is being so stubborn. So pls contact someone that can fix pls. i need to sumbit my first fanction.
What if I told you there’s an alternative timeline in the Jennifer Kaytin Robinson’s IKWYDLS continuity where the main Asian American slasher is the son of the iconic Helen Shivers and Barry Cox, who are ex-lovers of his Asian American parents before.
In this post: I’m showing you the sample screenplay of my fanfiction story taken place after the 2025 film.
The title is: anchor slasher — from the world of IKWYDLS.
Let me know what you think.
This is the pic of a profile of one of my all-time favorite authors whose stories I can only remember and never revisit. I share this with the hope that others will keep the art of storytelling alive, and not desecrated by the quicker routes people have tried to take. Respect to the author, your stories will not be forgotten. (left out the author's name for privacy)
I am not even opening fanfiction. Nope. Not at all. Yet another reason my next chapter will be also launching uploads on other platforms.
For the last few weeks I'm seeing a lot of problems trying to read stories in web browsers. I don't know if this also happens in the app.
A typical example goes like this. I'll get an alert that a story I'm following has been updated. I'll go look at it and it will say it has say 29 chapters. It had 28 before so that makes sense. But on the chapter dropdown it only lists 28. I'll wait a couple days, because sometimes it takes a while for chapters to actually show up.
When chapter 29 does show up in the dropdown, it might work to go directly to it. However, if I go to chapter 28 to reread that first, the chapter dropdown in 28 does not show 29 and there is no next button in 28.
When I come back later, it might have changed so that now the dropdown in 28 does show 29 and has a next button, but actually trying to go to 29 gives the messages about it not being available and saying it can take up to 15 minutes for new chapters to show up.
In one story I'm following it now has 39 chapters but the dropdown in chapter 1 only shows 37. Going to 39 be editing the URL works to get to 39 and the dropdown there lists all 39, but 38 gives the not available wait 15 minutes message.
At first it just seemed like it was being slow to update and get everything synced, but once the chapter showed up it was good. But now I'm seeing chapters go away and later come back, as described in the previous paragraph, so something seems to have gotten noticeably worse recently. It feels like either a database corruption issue or a cache invalidation issue.
I've tested all this from multiple browsers and with caches and/or cookies cleared so I don't think it is a problem on my end.
Anyone else seeing anything like this?
So, while thankfully I haven't been hit by the "artist" scammers in quite a while, in the past three weeks or so I've been receiving a lot of guest reviews with the same line "Dios te bendiga Jesús te ama" ("God bless you Jesus loves you") signed with the name Kathryn Krick. Now, I don't want to enter any religious debates or anything, but I think FFN is not the site for that, and it's annoying to get a review alert only to find that it has nothing to to with the story itself. It gets old pretty fast.
Has someone else gotten similar ones, or is it just me? For now, I've decided to moderate the guest reviews and see if this dissuades whoever that person is from doing it.
I am rereading "Apex" and I relizised I love not push over/ independent Harry Potter fics. I am looking for recommendations they can be dark, Grey or light but im looking for Harry not being walked over, pushed over or just being independent. Any recommendations?
I'm searching for a long, good, male OC fanfiction happening in parallel to the books and following Harry and his friends in their adventure while having his own plot. I would prefer a fanfic where the OC isn't OP from the start, there aren't any great changes in the og plot (e.g. Harry is in Slytherin instead of Gryffindor, Ron gets gender-swapped...) and the OC stays close to the golden trio (to start, it'll be good if he was a Gryffindor).
I know it's very specific, but I haven't found anything even remotely close to that.
In order for him to be saved girls bound them selves to him he and when revealed that at Gringotts Draco is killed by goblins.
They move into Hermione house afterwards
Pleas
Help me find this
Hey lovelies!
Needing some more advice today. I'm going to be writing some birthing scenes soon and since I've not been in labour, I would appreciate if those of you that have had children, could give me some advice on how to write it. I'm pretty sure I've done a bad job at representing pregnancy, although no one's mentioned it.
I would also appreciate any tips from those that have had water births, as that is in one of my stories.
Thank you in advance xx
Also, apologise for errors, I'm on mobile xx
I publish stories on FF and am thinking about switching to AO3.
I’d like to know if AO3 is better than FF or not.

Can’t remember the name but from what I remember it is someone is reborn as female Harry Potter who is also a mutant that Is somehow trained by a ninja in Japan after she was abandoned there by her relatives.
If you need more clues please ask me. It was on FFN
