I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has used these lists and have also gotten their friends & followers to use these lists as well! its been over two whole years since i originally started these lists and I cannot express how much the journey has been fun for me to experience! (as of July 1 2024)

While this update isn't too big of one, (my apologies) i did some HEAVY updating & sorting through these lists to organize them even further since my last update.

Most of these lists below have been sorted through putting dialogue prompts into their respective smaller sections. I'm still sorting through a TON more prompts I've collected over the last year or so. I really want to aim for having around 30-50K prompts all sorted through for you guys!

I completely tore down the angst prompts and anger prompts. I'm debating on keeping the Enemies to Lovers together or separate them into smaller lists as well.

I still haven't separated the Apocalyptic/Horror prompts because frankly, i enjoy them being in the same place. HOWEVER if it's something y'all want I can add that to my tasks for what i should do with these lists.

I would appreciate it if y'all shared these prompts with other fandoms/reddits/tumblrs. No credit is necessary (please do not email me asking for access to edit these lists -- I have SO many people on the daily asking for permission to edit these lists ad i do not want anyone else editing these lists.)

(my GDocs says I have 1.6K prompts to add to these lists, might go hunting for more.)

Hey everyone! I too used to be a lover of FanfictionNet and I know there's not as many spaces to do this anymore. Sure there AO3, Deviantart, Wattpad, and Quotev, but they all also have their own issues. So, I'm wanting to launch a new app specifically for fanfiction. So, I've come here to ask the things that fanfiction writers would want in an app. So please share the things that are available now (On FFNet or other sites) that you like, the things that you hate, and the things that you think would be very helpful.

I know I'm not the first to ask this, but if anyone has the text of "Come Back" ("One Piece" fanfic, Sanji/Zoro) by Smiley Soul, I would love it!

It was posted and then deleted from fanfiction.net years ago. I know there are a lot of fanfics out there: This one included the Strawhat Pirates getting marooned on an island and running low on supplies, causing Sanji to become stressed; Sanji and Zoro fighting in a colosseum type event (their opponents, a sister and a brother, had a perfect loop that could help them predict the future) and then Sanji leading a revolution against the corrupt noble who ran the fighting event (getting trapped underneath a wall in the process); Zoro getting shot in the head and falling into a coma; and Sanji and Zoro finding a lighthouse.

Every time I try to use the fucking thing, I get a message saying this:

I just recently joined but it’s not letting me upload my books off a word document am I doing something wrong?

I REALLY want to delete an old account. I haven't logged in in 10 years. My old email associated with it is deactivated and yahoo will not reactivate it so I can get a password verification email. I don't remember my password (i've tried everything), and I've asked for a password reset so I'm not even sure my old password would work anymore. But I cannot get into the original email account.

I've emailed Fanfiction.net support about this probably 20 times (no exaggeration) in the last three years. This is old fanfiction I wrote when I was a teenager, and while there's nothing wrong with it, it is EMBARRASSING to have it stay up. I hate having it floating out there on the internet.

I've tried Yahoo and fanfiction dot net support with either no response or nothing helpful. Can I request that an account be taken down? Do I have other options? Anyone know how to hack in to your own account???

I do not understand why they keep up accounts that haven't been logged into for 10+ years, the user has lost their login information to time, and they won't help you get in :/.

Got another one today where “someone” is offering to turn “my story” into a comic, without even bothering to specify which of the 13 fics I have posted on ff . net allegedly got their attention. I’m planning on reporting and blocking them once I have some dinner, but since they also provided a Discord username in the PM, I was wondering if there’s something I should or even could do there as well. Is there a way to report the Discord account there without friending them first, or would I even have the grounds to do so? If not, I’ll just stick with reporting the ff account.

Between the times FF says a story has no chapters—even though I know full well there is one (since it’s a friend’s story) and the fact that you can’t see statistics anymore, plus having to try an incredible number of times just to download a story... it really annoys me!
