Looking for Dedicated Owners – Competitive *FREE* ESPN Fantasy Football Leagues
We’re looking for a few active, dependable fantasy football managers to join either or both of two well-run ESPN leagues for the upcoming season. These are existing leagues that have ported over to ESPN from the former NFL Fantasy platform, which is no longer operational now that ESPN purchased the rights to be the NFL’s platform of choice back in January.
These leagues are designed for owners who enjoy competition, check their teams every week, respond to trade offers, and stay engaged throughout the entire season. There is no pot in either league. We play strictly for pride and fun.
The first league is called Fantasy Island. Owners are asked to use a beach-themed team name. It is a twelve-team PPR ultraflex league with an auction draft. The draft date will be set after consultation with all league managers once the league is full.
The second league is called Old-Timers. Most of the owners have historically been 50+ years old, but that is not a requirement. All ages are welcome. It is a twelve-team PPR league with a snake draft. Each lineup includes one WR/RB/TE flex position. The draft date will be set after consultation with all league managers once the league is full.
League Highlights
● Platform: ESPN Fantasy Football
● Entry Fee: Free
● Competitive but friendly atmosphere
● Active commissioner
● Fair and consistent league administration
● Customized scoring and roster settings
● Owners expected to remain active all season
We’re looking for managers who:
● Set a legal lineup every week.
● Participate in trades and league discussion.
● Stay involved even if their season doesn’t start well.
● Enjoy strategy, sportsmanship, and competitive play.
If you’re tired of leagues that become inactive by Week 6, this is intended to be the opposite. We want committed owners who help make the league enjoyable from the draft through the championship, and who want to return year after year.
If you’re interested, send me a message with a brief description of your fantasy football experience. I’ll reply with the league settings and an ESPN invitation link.
Serious, active managers only.
